Deuteronomy 28:1, “Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.”
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s life-giving word is taken from the book of Deuteronomy 28:1, “Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.”
My dear children of God, God wants to exalt you. God says, “I will set you high.” How will He exalt you? To be exalted you need to be humble. When you humble yourself before the Lord you will be exalted by God before others and on the other hand, obeying God is of utmost importance to everyone. Obedience shows God that we love Him and we trust Him which in turn activates His power in our lives, but most importantly there is a reward for obedience as said in the verse Deuteronomy 28:13, “The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom”.
Everybody likes to be well placed in a high position. Nobody wishes to be at a lower level or lower position. Today God wants to fulfil your desire of being lifted to a higher position. God will exalt you, in your business, in your ministry, in your studies, in your work spot, and in every area of your life. Humble yourself before the Lord and obey Him. We can see in the Bible that God exalted Daniel. Though many kings changed, one after another, Daniel kept on moving forward. He held a high position in the government office of Babylon. He prayed three times a day and He was faithful and honest. Though kings came and left, Daniel kept on prospering and moving forward. Daniel was victorious. God Who lifted Daniel high above others amid different kings, God will exalt you too.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for speaking to us through the verse that “Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.” Lord, you said, you will set your children high above all the nations. Exalt my children above all the people, where they were humiliated and stamped upon. May they be honoured by others, let their name be exalted and beautify them before others. We thank You for performing miracles for them and making them joyous. Bless them when they come in and when they go out. Bless them with royal exaltation.
In Jesus’ Name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Ezekiel 36:11, “ I will increase the number of people and animals living on you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”
From the above context we learn that God wants to multiply you with many men and cattle. He is a God of blessing and wants to bless you in great measure. The first and foremost blessing that God gave to Adam and Eve was that they should multiply and increase in everything and fill the earth. God in the beginning of the creation itself had a plan to increase mankind. God wanted man to multiply and increase in everything he did. God who created man in his own image, was not content that he should remain in the same level or position, but move forward to the next level in life. It can be spiritual experience or it can be related to generations or based on the income or your financial stability. God expects that you should increase in all aspects of your life. It is not God’s plan that you should, shrink in life. But be widened, or expand in life. God expects His children to multiply with regard to children, in the family, or an increment in your salary, or an upliftment in your business. Whatever you do, there should be an increase.
Your relatives or your friends may desire to see your down fall. But God does not want to see you suffer from any loss. He always desires that you should do well in life. He is afflicted when you go through affliction. In case you fall the Lord will only lift you up and encourage you to rise up in life. He will only gather you up in his arms from your fallen state of life. Today you might have been pushed down in your business, or you might have been de-promoted in your service, instead of being promoted. Your friends or your own relatives may be spreading false tales about you and also speaking ill about you because of jealousy. Therefore you are terribly hurt about their odd behaviour. You are not able to move forward in life because of their interference.
Dearly Beloved, God wants to bring an end to all these petty problems and He desires that you live peacefully. He wants to bring an end to all the painful situation that you are going through. God had chosen this day to provide an increase in all your doings. He is emphasising on this particular thing that you move forward in your life, and not slip backward. If you desire to increase and multiply in your material and worldly life, then you need to spend more time with God. You need to increase your prayer life. The more you pray the more you will prosper. Learn to pray for a longer period of time, and then you shall be blessed. The more we pray the more we will be successful in our life. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Dear Lord, we thank You because You desire that we multiply and increase in our life. Thank You Father for promising us, to grant us men and cattle. And that You will make us prosperous more than before. We thank You for helping us move forward in life.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Psalm 90: 15, “Make us glad according to the days, in which You have afflicted us.”
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s word of God is taken from the book of Psalm 90: 15, “Make us glad according to the days, in which You have afflicted us.”
My dear children of God, many of you have been afflicted by others during the course of your life. And you are continuously suffering pain and agony in your life even now. Today God is looking at the affliction that you are going through and he is going to perform a miracle for you to make you glad. Watching over your affliction, God wants to do some good deed in your life and make you happy as per this verse, ‘God will satisfy you early, according to the days wherein you have been afflicted’.
In the Bible, we can see that the people of Israel were being crushed in the hands of the Egyptians by their taskmasters. Daily they were shedding tears and suffering in pain, They cried out to heaven. The Lord sent Moses, the man of God with the gift of power to relive these people and redeemed them from the hands of the Egyptians. Today God is listening to your cry which reaches the doors of heaven, He hears your lamentation that you make before God. So, God is sending His life-giving Word to comfort you and strengthen you. And just as God gave the people of Israel the good and large land flowing with milk and honey, He is going to bless you with a new life running with milk and honey and He will reward you for the years you faced pain, torment, and tribulation.
Hannah said to God, Lord if you will see my affliction and grant to me a child, I shall dedicate that child for the ministry of God. Some children are afflicted and insulted by everyone. Today, ask the Lord to see your affliction today and grant you a child or a job or with a life partner. Then He will surely answer your prayers and grant you what you have asked for.
PRAYER: Our loving heavenly Father, as you said in your word today that“Make us glad according to the days, in which You have afflicted us.” We claim it in Jesus Name in our life. Lord, let your promise be fulfilled in their life, open the doors of heaven and bless them. May all barriers be broken apart and let all the good things happen in their homes. Change all their sorrows into joy and make them glad. I submit all the problems of my children into Your hands, deliver my children from all their trials and temptations. Bless them with peace and happiness.
In Jesus Name I pray.
Amen
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious life-giving word of the Lord for today is taken from the book of “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6).
Every man born in this world experiences hunger and thirst. People of the world hunger for money, fame, worldly eminence, and power. But people of God, love Him and sit at His feet yearning for spiritual blessings.
Today many Christians do not hunger and thirst after spiritual things. Reading the Bible, praying, and attending church services have all become routine tasks. While there is nothing wrong in yearning for worldly blessings, when we seek after spiritual blessings God will bless us abundantly in this world. Like Jacob we must be persistent, “Lord, I will not let You go unless You bless me!” We must receive the blessed life that Jacob received from God which Esau did not!”
In the Bible, we can see Saul and David were the first two kings of Israel. Both ruled Israel for forty years each. Even though both were selected by God, there was a vast difference in what each one of them hungered after. Saul longed after honour, name, and fame in the eyes of the Israelites. But David yearned after God, and that is why he says – Early will I seek you, my soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You. Whatever be your loss always hunger and thirst after God, only then will you receive His grace, power, and glory in abundance. Read about Saul who hungered after worldly recognition and about David who hungered after God in the Bible. You will see that Saul’s descendants were destroyed but David’s descendants always occupied the throne. This is how David writes about his longing for God: “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?” (Psalm 42:1,2).
Such was David’s yearning for the Lord. As we hunger and thirst after God like David, God will bless us abundantly!
Those who hunger after God will certainly thirst after His word. His living word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Our life’s goal should be to read, meditate and live according to the Word of God.
Today, many don’t know the value of the Bible. In David’s life the Word was sweeter than honey and the honeycomb and desired more than gold, than much fine gold. It was a lamp to his feet and a light to his path. Like David read and meditate God’s word with hunger it will cause your soul to prosper.
Similarly, as you hunger and thirst for God to fill your hearts He God will pour out His anointing in abundance. Only believe and seek with an earnest heart, God will accomplish great things through you. Amen.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, enable my children to hunger and thirst after You, Your Word and Your anointing. Give them the grace to seek your face for guidance early in the morning. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Bring an end to all their personal and family problems and wipe away all their tears. In Jesus name. Amen.
Joshua 21:45, “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. All came to pass”.
My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book Joshua 21:45, “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. All came to pass”.
My dear children of God, The verse says, whatever promises the Lord had made to the house of Israel had come to pass. Today God will change all your sorrows into joy. When God promises you with His word, then none of His word is spoken in vain. All his promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus.
There are times, however, when it feels as though God has failed us. We can see in the Bible about Naomi. While living in Moab, a land far from her home, Naomi lost her husband and two sons. There was a famine destroying the land. Grief-stricken, destitute, and alone, Naomi must have felt like God had forsaken her.
From her point of view, God was dealing bitterly with Naomi. But the famine, the move to Moab, and the deaths of her husband and sons were all leading to something glorious and gracious in God’s plan of salvation. Naomi would return to her homeland with one faithful daughter-in-law, Ruth. The kinsman-redeemer, Boaz, would save Naomi and marry Ruth. Boaz and Ruth would become great-grandparents of King David, who would carry the bloodline of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Among her sorrow and brokenness, Naomi could not see the big picture. She could not know what God was doing. Maybe you feel like Naomi, and you are losing faith in God and his word. You feel as though He’s done you wrong, abandoned you. You find yourself asking, “Why hasn’t He answered my prayers?”
The Lord may want to use a difficult season as a stepping stone in our spiritual growth. In trying time, we have to believe that God knows what’s best for us and trust in his promises “Psalm 33:4
For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does”.
When you feel faithless, when you believe that God has left you, take refuge in the pages of the Bible. Face each day confidently with an awareness that the victorious Lord is on your side. Know with all assurance that God never fails. His good promises to you will come to pass. I bless each and every one of you reading this message with the blessings of God, let the name of God be glorified. Just as God had said, that not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. Let the word of God be fulfilled in the houses of my children too.
PRAYER: Our loving heavenly Father, as you said in your word today that “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. All came to pass”. We claim it in Jesus Name in our lives. Lord, I pray that every promise you have made in your children lives come to pass from this very day. I pray as a servant of God that all your word be fulfilled and let all the obstacles be broken in Jesus Name. Let blessings descend speedily upon them and make them happy.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
