God Makes You Glad

Psalm 90: 15, “Make us glad according to the days, in which You have afflicted us.”

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s word of God is taken from the book of Psalm 90: 15, “Make us glad according to the days, in which You have afflicted us.”

My dear children of God, many of you have been afflicted by others during the course of your life. And you are continuously suffering pain and agony in your life even now. Today God is looking at the affliction that you are going through and he is going to perform a miracle for you to make you glad. Watching over your affliction, God wants to do some good deed in your life and make you happy as per this verse, ‘God will satisfy you early, according to the days wherein you have been afflicted’.

In the Bible, we can see that the people of Israel were being crushed in the hands of the Egyptians by their taskmasters. Daily they were shedding tears and suffering in pain, They cried out to heaven. The Lord sent Moses, the man of God with the gift of power to relive these people and redeemed them from the hands of the Egyptians. Today God is listening to your cry which reaches the doors of heaven, He hears your lamentation that you make before God. So, God is sending His life-giving Word to comfort you and strengthen you. And just as God gave the people of Israel the good and large land flowing with milk and honey, He is going to bless you with a new life running with milk and honey and He will reward you for the years you faced pain, torment, and tribulation.

Hannah said to God, Lord if you will see my affliction and grant to me a child, I shall dedicate that child for the ministry of God. Some children are afflicted and insulted by everyone. Today, ask the Lord to see your affliction today and grant you a child or a job or with a life partner. Then He will surely answer your prayers and grant you what you have asked for.

PRAYER:  Our loving heavenly Father, as you said in your word today that“Make us glad according to the days, in which You have afflicted us.” We claim it in Jesus Name in our life. Lord, let your promise be fulfilled in their life, open the doors of heaven and bless them. May all barriers be broken apart and let all the good things happen in their homes. Change all their sorrows into joy and make them glad. I submit all the problems of my children into Your hands, deliver my children from all their trials and temptations. Bless them with peace and happiness.

In Jesus Name I pray.

Amen

Hunger, Thirst!

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The auspicious life-giving word of the Lord for today is taken from the book of  “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6).

Every man born in this world experiences hunger and thirst. People of the world hunger for money, fame, worldly eminence, and power. But people of God, love Him and sit at His feet yearning for spiritual blessings.

Today many Christians do not hunger and thirst after spiritual things. Reading the Bible, praying, and attending church services have all become routine tasks. While there is nothing wrong in yearning for worldly blessings, when we seek after spiritual blessings God will bless us abundantly in this world. Like Jacob we must be persistent, “Lord, I will not let You go unless You bless me!” We must receive the blessed life that Jacob received from God which Esau did not!”

In the Bible, we can see Saul and David were the first two kings of Israel. Both ruled Israel for forty years each. Even though both were selected by God, there was a vast difference in what each one of them hungered after. Saul longed after honour, name, and fame in the eyes of the Israelites. But David yearned after God, and that is why he says – Early will I seek you, my soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You. Whatever be your loss always hunger and thirst after God, only then will you receive His grace, power, and glory in abundance. Read about Saul who hungered after worldly recognition and about David who hungered after God in the Bible. You will see that Saul’s descendants were destroyed but David’s descendants always occupied the throne. This is how David writes about his longing for God: “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?” (Psalm 42:1,2).

Such was David’s yearning for the Lord. As we hunger and thirst after God like David, God will bless us abundantly!

Those who hunger after God will certainly thirst after His word. His living word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Our life’s goal should be to read, meditate and live according to the Word of God.

Today, many don’t know the value of the Bible.  In David’s life the Word was sweeter than honey and the honeycomb and desired more than gold, than much fine gold.  It was a lamp to his feet and a light to his path. Like David read and meditate God’s word with hunger it will cause your soul to prosper.

Similarly, as you hunger and thirst for God to fill your hearts He God will pour out His anointing in abundance. Only believe and seek with an earnest heart, God will accomplish great things through you.  Amen.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord, enable my children to hunger and thirst after You, Your Word and Your anointing. Give them the grace to seek your face for guidance early in the morning.  Fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Bring an end to all their personal and family problems and wipe away all their tears. In Jesus name. Amen.

Not One Word Failed

Joshua 21:45, “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. All came to pass”.

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all  in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book Joshua 21:45, “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. All came to pass”.

My dear children of God, The verse says, whatever promises the Lord had  made to the house of Israel had come to pass.   Today God will change all your sorrows into joy. When God promises you with His word, then none of His word is spoken in vain.  All his promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus.

There are times, however, when it feels as though God has failed us. We can see in the Bible about Naomi. While living in Moab, a land far from her home, Naomi lost her husband and two sons. There was a famine destroying the land. Grief-stricken, destitute, and alone, Naomi must have felt like God had forsaken her.

From her point of view, God was dealing bitterly with Naomi. But the famine, the move to Moab, and the deaths of her husband and sons were all leading to something glorious and gracious in God’s plan of salvation. Naomi would return to her homeland with one faithful daughter-in-law, Ruth. The kinsman-redeemer, Boaz, would save Naomi and marry Ruth. Boaz and Ruth would become great-grandparents of King David, who would carry the bloodline of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Among her sorrow and brokenness, Naomi could not see the big picture. She could not know what God was doing. Maybe you feel like Naomi, and you are losing faith in God and his word. You feel as though He’s done you wrong, abandoned you. You find yourself asking, “Why hasn’t He answered my prayers?”

The Lord may want to use a difficult season as a stepping stone in our spiritual growth. In trying time, we have to believe that God knows what’s best for us and trust in his promises “Psalm 33:4
For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does”.

When you feel faithless, when you believe that God has left you, take refuge in the pages of the Bible. Face each day confidently with an awareness that the victorious Lord is on your side. Know with all assurance that God never fails. His good promises to you will come to pass. I bless each and every one of you reading this message with the blessings of God, let the name of God be glorified. Just as God had said, that not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. Let the word of God be fulfilled in the houses of my children too.

PRAYER: Our loving heavenly Father, as you said in your word today that “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. All came to pass”. We claim it in Jesus Name in our lives. Lord, I pray that every promise you have made in your children lives come to pass from this very day. I pray as a servant of God that all your word be fulfilled and let all the obstacles be broken in Jesus Name. Let blessings descend speedily upon them and make them happy.

In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.

The Lord Your God Teaches You.

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 48:17, “This is what the Lord  says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God,  who teaches you what is best for you,  who directs you in the way you should go.”

Only God can teach you what is useful for you. God says, “I will teach you what is useful for your life and I am the Lord, who will show you the way, that you should walk.” My Dear children of God, do you know what will happen when God teaches, what is useful for you. Then your life will be settled. Many are worried about their life. Saying, “I have not settled in life as yet. I am growing old, I have not completed my degree, nor have I secured a job, I am still unmarried. When will I settle in life?  All my friends are doing well, they have secured jobs and have married and settled in life. But I am still waiting to be settled.” Today God is speaking to you through this message. Firstly, you need to have the desire to listen to someone when they preach or counsel you. Only then can you improve your life. The teachings of God will lead you on the right track. And God desires that you be seated in the highest place in society. He wants to settle you in life, and he will never leave you to be unsettled.

The counselling of men would ensnare your life. It would trap you and cause you to fall, you need to listen to those who preach what is useful for you. You need to hold on to Jesus, who will teach you good things that will be useful for your life. The teachings of God will penetrate deep into your heart, and direct your steps. Then you will not   falter or stumble in your way, you will not suffer from any loss or any other worse problem. You will not face any failure in your life. God knows what is necessary for you and your family. Accordingly, He will feed you with His word.

God knows what he should do for you? So, God is willing to impart such kind of words that would comfort you in your trials and temptations. David said, “Lord help me to do what is pleasing to you.” So, ask God to teach you what is necessary for your life.  Always ask God, what you should do  to benefit your family, your   neighbourhood, your country. You should always think on these lines. Take counselling from God, put it in  practice, and also apply it in your life for the benefit of your well being. If you follow the footsteps of God,   and walk according to his counselling  then you shall not slip in your pathway. Your effort will not go waste, and you shall win victory in everything you do. God Bless you.

Prayer:   Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord,  teach us   what is useful for us and lead us in the way we should go. Lord in the past we listened to the counselling of ungodly people and faced much loss and failure in our life. We have not been benefitted in any way.  So today we humbly submit ourselves and our family before You, accept our gratitude towards you. May the Lord who is our counsellor, counsel us and direct us in the way in which we should go. Lord fulfil the desires of our heart and meet all the needs of your children, according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Bless them, keep them and cause Your face to shine upon them.

 In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

Remain Under the Shade Of God

Psalm 91:7, “A  Thousand shall fall at your side,  And   ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not come near you.”

My dearly beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  The word of God is taken from the book of Psalm 91:7, “A Thousand shall fall at your side,  and  ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not come near you.”

What does this verse mean?   If any destruction surrounds you on all sides, in front of you, behind you and at your sides, such destruction will not come near you. What must you do to safeguard yourself from destruction? This is what the Lord wants to tell you through this message. The Bible says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Highest shall abide under the shadow, of the Almighty”. Whatever destruction may come, and many perish but you shall be safe, if you abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  If you remain under the coverage of God, then such destruction will not enter your homes or it will not enter your family. The Bible says God is a shade of protection. Just as the shade follows behind us, God follows you everywhere you go like a shade.

My dear children of God, Under the Almighty shade of God there is protection, good counselling and there are blessings too. If you leave Him then you will miss on these, and you will fall into destruction. We can see in the Bible, that David admonishes his son, Solomon, saying, “If you seek God He will be found”. But if you fail to seek God then He too will leave you. So, we need to search for God every day of our life. We need to search for His kingdom, and His righteousness, then all these things will be added unto you. You need to check for yourself if God is with you or not.

We see how God left Samson even without his knowledge, because of his evil behaviour. Samson revealed the secret to the source of his strength to Delilah, after putting Samson to sleep she called a Philistine man and shaved of Samson’s hair, because of this God had departed from him as he revealed the secret. Delilah decieved and betrayed him. When the Philistines charged at him, and he could not fight against them as he had lost all his strength and Samson realized that God had left him. With God, he emerged powerful. But without God, he proved a failure. He who was known for his strength now appeared as a weak man. Nowadays, we see a lot of destruction surrounding us. Destruction attacks us in many forms. Therefore, what we need to do is protect ourselves under the shade of God. We should hide in the presence of God all the time. Then you shall be safe from destruction. Dedicate your home into the hand of God, to be like small heaven.

PRAYER:  Our loving heavenly Father, as you said in your word today that Psalm 91:7, “A  Thousand shall fall at your side,  and ten thousand at your right hand, But it shall not come near you”.   We claim it in Jesus Name in our life. I submit my children under the shade of the Almighty. Let their homes, family, children and the house in which they dwell, be well protected from all dangers and harm. Let them live a peaceful life on this earth. Let many good things happen in their homes.  Take charge of all things and lead them safely. Let them stay safe under the shade of your wings, I submit them to you. Let their homes and families be like a small heaven.

In Jesus Name we pray.

Amen.
