His favour

Dearly Beloved in Christ ! I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book  of Joshua 7: 25,26,  “Then Joshua  said, to Achan, “Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.” Then all Israel stoned him, and after they had stoned the rest, they burned them.  Then the Lord turned from his fierce anger.”

Few years back the entire world had experienced very cruel  and   agonising  period of time due to  Covid 19. We felt the wrath of God was poured upon the people because of sin, adultery, idol worship and bribery and committing all kinds of sinful   activities. The entire nation was shut down under the name of “Lock down.” All were inside their homes. People couldn’t go to their office, or shops to purchase or to see their relatives.  Many lost their jobs,   and their loved ones.  We   even couldn’t bury the dead. All were struck in pain and misery. It looked as if we were in captivity. But this year we pray that God would have mercy and show us His favour. So that we will regain all that we had lost in life. May this year bring prosperity and the blessings of God.  As a servant of God I  declare the  blessings  of God,  be placed upon  your head  as Moses had blessed the tribe of Israel and especially Joseph.  That  each one reading this message will be blessed by God and you shall increase  thousand times more than what you had been in the past.  May God help you to carry on your regular work and sustain you with peace and serenity. In the Bible we have an incident where Joshua a mighty leader of Israel lost his battle against the city of Ai, since one man sinned against God. The wrath of God was kindled against the people of Israel.

From the above context we learn that since one man Achan, sinned against God, Joshua and his men lost in the battle   against   Ai. So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel.  Though Joshua fought many battles   and had also won them.   Now they had to fight against the city of Ai. They thought that they could easily overtake them as they were few in number. So about three thousand men went up; but they were routed by the men of Ai, about thirty-six of them, were killed.  They chased the Israelites from the city gate and struck them down on the slopes. At this the hearts of the people melted in fear and became like water. On hearing their failure,  Joshua tore his clothes and fell facedown to the ground before the ark of the Lord, remaining there till evening.  And Joshua said, “Sovereign Lord, why did you ever bring this people across the Jordan to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us?  They lost the battle since Achan sinned against the Lord God of Israel. If Israel hearkened to His voice, to do what was right in His eyes. God would have brought victory. But the Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted things.  Achan  son of Karmi, of the tribe of Judah, took some of the  costly shawls  and hid them under his tent.  So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel.

The Lord said to Joshua,  “Israel had sinned; they had  violated My covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions. That is why the Israelites couldn’t stand against their enemies; and   they have been made liable to destruction.   Go, consecrate the people. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them.”  Early the next morning Joshua called for the tribes of Israel, and Judah was chosen. The clans of Judah came forward, Achan son of Karmi, was chosen. Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, Tell me what you have done; do not hide it from me.”  Achan replied, “It is true! I have sinned against the Lord, the God of Israel. This is what I have done:  When I saw in the plunder a beautiful robe from Babylonia,  two hundred shekels of silver and a bar of gold weighing fifty shekels,   I coveted them and took them. They are hidden in the ground inside my tent, with the silver underneath.” So Joshua’s sent messengers, ran to the tent, took the things from the tent, brought them to Joshua and all the Israelites and spread them out before the Lord.  Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor.Joshua said, “Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today.”Then all Israel stoned him, and after they had stoned the rest, they burned them.  Over Achan they heaped up a large pile of rocks, which remains to this day. Then the Lord turned from his fierce anger.  May God help you to walk in the fear of God and obey His commandments. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger. God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   You   for   this   blessed day.  Dear Lord we thank You for admonishing us to fear the Lord, and never plunder what is not lawful. Help us not to be like Achan who coveted the things that belonged to the enemies and made it his own possession. May we always remember that God watches over us. Help us to be truthful and honest in our lives.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

Prince of Peace

Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is  from the book  of  John 20:19, “On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

From the above context we learn that 2000 years ago, Jesus entered the room where the disciples had hidden themselves for fear of the Jews, and said to them, “Peace Be Unto You.”He directly conveyed the message of peace unto them. In the same way the Lord Jesus Christ is telling “Peace Be Unto You.” to each one of you who are reading this message. Today God is descending in the midst of you as He is the Prince Of Peace, As birds hovering, over its young ones,  so will Jehovah of hosts protect you, He will protect and deliver you from the hands of the evil people,   He will pass over and preserve you. God wants to put aside all the incidents that destroyed your peace and joy and He wants to restore to you a peaceful life. God wants to perform miracles in your life and undo and uproot all kinds of past happenings that caused displeasure, and restlessness and establish peace in your life. He desires to change your sorrow into joy.  You’re mourning into dancing. He wants to loosen your sackcloth and gird you with gladness.

He wants to bind up your broken heartedness. To comfort all those of you who mourn.  Giving them a garland instead of ashes, God will take the cup of trembling from your hand and put it into the hands of those who tormented and troubled you. God wants to bring about peace like a river upon your heads.  So you see, how the Lord Jesus Christ entered into the room that was closed, and stood in the midst of his disciples, and said. “Peace Be To You.” Now the Lord is bringing peace to all the elders, small children and even the youngsters who are reading the message. In those days when a man or woman who enters into married life and takes the responsibility of the family will face a lot of fear in them. They have misunderstanding and when troubles increase then they sink in depression. When a person does not get what he desires then he gets disappointed and goes through trouble.

Today we find small children saying, “Allow me to live peacefully.   I am in tension.  Wont you let me watch the TV peacefully, won’t you let   me play cricket with my friends for a while peacefully?” They even say, “I don’t know why I was born into this family.  May be if I was born in another family,   I could have enjoyed much freedom.”They talk as if they had lost all their future which shows that from children to adults all are filled with worries, worries, and worries. Today God wants to clear all your worries, and grant His divine peace, to you in your families, among your children, between your siblings and relatives. Once the members of your family are at peace with one another, then your life will be peaceful and calm. May the Lord grant you His peace that passes all understanding, and fill your hearts and mind with comfort. God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   You   for   this   blessed day. Dear Lord, thank You for telling us about peace. We thank you for comforting Your disciples who were scared and afraid of the Jews, by telling them, “Peace Be Unto You.’’  Likewise comfort us also. Grant to us the same peace in our family. In our business centre and in all things we do. Come with us daily Lord Jesus, and help us live peacefully.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

HONOUR GOD’S PEOPLE

Dearly beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of  2 Kings 4:16, “About this time next year,” Elisha said, “you will hold a son in your arms.”

From the above context we learn that God had blessed the Shunammite woman. Since she was wealthy she was known as an honourable woman in the city.  In this episode we see how the Lord blessed the woman with a son just because she honoured the servant of God, and later he also restored the life of the Shunammite’s Son.  One day Elisha went to  Shunem,  a small town. And a well-to-do woman was there. She often urged him to stay for a meal. So whenever he came there, he stayed in her house top, there to eat. She provided   a small room on the roof and put in it a bed and a table, a chair and a lamp for him. ”So she arranged a room for the servant of God who often visited the town.   One day when Elisha came, he went up to his room and lay down there. One day Elisha said to his servant Gehazi, “Call the Shunammite.” So he called her, and she stood before him.  Elisha said to her, ‘You have taken   much trouble to accommodate   us    in your house.  Now what can we do for you in   return for the kindness you have shown to us.   Can we speak on your behalf of you to the king or the commander of the army?’”She replied, “I have a home among my own people.”I don’t need anything more. She was content with all that God had provided her.

But  Elisha wanted to show some favour to her in return for what she has  done for them.   Gehazi said, to Elisha,  “She has no son, and her husband is quite old. Then Elisha called her, and she came and stood in the doorway.  Then Elisha said, to her, “About this time next year, you will hold a son in your arms.” The woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her. The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers. He said to his father, “My head! My head is paining. His father told a servant, “Carry him to his mother.”  After the servant had lifted him up and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap until noon, and then he died.  She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, then shut the door and went out. She called her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants and a donkey, so I can go to the man of God quickly and return.” Her husband asked her  “Why go to him today?” “It’s not the New Moon or the Sabbath.” “That’s all right,” she said.  She saddled the donkey and said to her servant, “Lead on; don’t slow down for me unless I tell you.”  So she set out and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel.  When he saw her in the distance, the man of God said to his servant Gehazi, “Look! There’s the Shunammite!   Run to meet her and ask her, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?’” “Everything is all right,” she said.

When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she took hold of his feet, and asked him, “Did I ask you for a son, my lord?” she said. “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t raise my hopes’?”Elisha said to Gehazi, “ Take my staff in your hand and run.. Lay my staff on the boy’s face.” But the child’s mother said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So Elisha, got up and followed her.  Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him, “The boy has not awakened.”  When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch.  He went in, shut the door behind him,   the two of them and prayed to the Lord.  Then he got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on him, the boy’s body grew warm.  Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out on him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite.” And he did. When she came, he said, “Take your son.” She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out. Thus the Shunammite’s Son was restored to life.   I wish to tell those of you reading this message that when you honour the servant of God then God in turn blesses you with a good reward.  He will  see  what you lack in life and fulfil the desires of your heart. Submit your ways unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.  God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   You   for   this   blessed day. Dear Lord, we thank you for considering the shunammite woman and blessing her with a son, Not only did you bless her with a son, but also restored the life of her son from death. Consider us also and awaken all the dead situations in our life. May we too like the Shunamite woman rejoice in the Lord for the favour he had bestowed upon her.

Amen.

The Blessings of Abraham

Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 24:1, “Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age, and the Lord had blessed him in everything.”

From the above context we learn that God called Abraham alone and asked him to follow Him. As he obeyed the voice of God, and followed God, God blessed him in everything. Similarly the Lord is going to bless all those of you who are reading this message. Halleluiah!  The Lord blessed Abraham in all things in all dimensions. The Lord will give you all   the blessings and help you live a successful life. Abraham was called as the friend of God. God who blessed Abraham is going to bless you with the same blessing upon your head, upon the head of your children, in your business centre, and also in your ministry. God had blessed Abraham in everything and had borne him even in his old age. The Lord protected him, carried him and led him, and blessed him with a son Isaac in his old age as He had promised, and spoke to him face to face whenever he desired to speak on several issues. In certain cases God sent his angels to talk to the people. But in the case of Abraham, God often appeared unto him and spoke to him.

This year you are going to experience, such an intimate relationship with God. God will speak to you through the Holy Spirit. When I waited in prayer, the Lord revealed, several things to me. One important thing that he shared with me is that, God is directly going to descend upon each one of you and give you a helping hand. He will directly intervene, with the problems which you face in your family and He will solve all your problems. He will change your situation, and help you live peacefully without any problem in your family. He will change everything for your good. And when God revealed His desire to me, I rejoiced in the Lord. When we interacted with several people,   they all told how God had intervened in their lives, and how they all had seen such visions. A brother told, that his son was caught up in a problem and he was to go to jail, but God had intervened, and saved his son from going to jail, in the last moment.

In recent times we have heard, many such testimonies, as to how God had protected His children, personally. And had delivered many of His children from their deathbed, and had set many free from bondage, and preserved them from all their troubles.  Even today the Lord is saying, to each one of you, “I will be with you as I was with Abraham.’’ Hallelujah!  God blessed Abraham in every way. Do you lack any blessings? God will undo all short comings and bless you abundantly.   God Bless You.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   you   for   this   blessed day. Dear Lord, thank you so much for Abraham, with whom you spoke personally.  And blessed him in everything and gave him a son in his old age. You carried him in his old age and also protected him in his journey. Likewise dear Lord please help us in our journey.  Protect us from our enemies and from all danger and harm that could befall us. Help us to overcome all our problems, through Your strength.

In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.

Bountiful blessings

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and Ever Unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord   has given for you today is from the book of 2 Corinthians 8:9, “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
From the above verse we come to understand that   God is able to bless you abundantly. So that you will have all things that you need, and you will abound in   every good   work.   Paul draws a comparison with the great and generous grace that God had bountifully poured out upon all humanity through our Lord Jesus Christ – for though He was rich beyond all measure, yet for our sakes He became poor, so that by His poverty He could make us rich. We realize that the glorious, infinite, eternal attributes of God, which our minds cannot conceive, of the infinite riches of the eternal Son of God, are beyond imagination. What Love! What Grace! What a God!

All  things were made by Him – all the riches of the earth and the wealth of sky – the treasures of the oceans and the bountiful resources of the vast universe – all things were made by Him and all things were made for Him. All these unimaginable riches and the glories of His elevated heavenly status were laid aside simply because of His GRACE towards us. All the inconceivable and vast riches of His glory were set aside for your sake and for mine and He stripped Himself of everything – becoming so poor that He did not even have a place to rest His head.    Though He was the Creator of the universe, He came into a fallen world that was in bondage to the evil governance of Satan.  God sent His son Jesus because of the love He had for you and me, so that by His deep poverty we might become rich.

God will fill all your emptiness and cause you to prosper by the riches of God. Today, He is coming down into your houses, as a God of riches. Halleluiah!  May be you are entangled in huge debts, and not able to come out of it.  And so you are so worried. You say, “Look I’m working so hard to repay my loans but nothing seems to end. Only the interest is getting over,  but the principal amount is still the same. If I earn ten thousand, I have expenditure to spend  at least twenty thousand. My expenditure is increasing all the more. So I am in a fix.”  As a result you don’t know what to do.  You think at times to end up your life.  Don’t worry, God will help you to repay your debts, in an unimaginable manner. Because, His ways are different from   yours. In order to end all your fears and doubts, God is opening doors of employment that could fetch better scale of pay. God is sending people to help you financially to help you repay your debts. If God could become poor to make you rich, can’t He help you pay all your debts. But on one   condition.  Obey God’s word. Fear God at all times. Humble yourselves before God and men. Never go about telling your sorrows to others, they will laugh at you. Commit your ways unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.  God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we   thank   You   for this blessed day. Dear Lord,  how great is Your grace and love towards us  that You would strip Yourself of all Your glory  and  live a life of humiliating poverty, so that we could  become rich, materially and spiritually.   We praise Your Holy name.   Thank   You Lord for helping us in our difficult  situation.

 In Jesus Name We Pray.

Amen.
