MEANINGFUL CELEBRATION

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever Unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has   given   for you today is from the book of Luke 1:28,31,

“And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.” In this verse Angel Gabriel announced the birth of Christ to Mary. There were many women in Bethlehem, but Mary received this amazing favor.

What is the secret behind heaven choosing Mary to bear our Lord Jesus Christ?  What were the character traits that Mary possessed to become eligible for this favour? The answers to these questions will guide us to raise a godly generation. I pray that you will imbibe the same qualities which you see in Mary.

Mary preserved her virginity:

““Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son.” (Mathew 1:23).

Yes, dear children of God, Mary was a virgin. The Bible points this out clearly. She lived a holy life in her youth.

“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.” (Psalm 119:9).

Be careful what you think because your thoughts run your life (Proverbs 4:23).

“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth.” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

Let us learn to focus our thoughts and ideas on the God who created us, and not on vain thoughts. Then your children will live a life in obedience to God’s will just like Jesus Christ.

Mary adorned humility:

“Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38).

Angel Gabriel announced unexpected joyous news to Mary. But she did not puff with pride on hearing this news. Instead, she humbled herself saying, “I am your maidservant” and trusted in His word.

“….. as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering” (Colossians 3:12).

According to this verse, let us adorn humility! God will do mighty things in our life.

Mary had a helping nature:

Jesus and His mother Mary and His disciples took part at the marriage in Cana.  When the wine was deficient at the marriage feast, the people who were attending the marriage were indifferent to this crisis. But Mary could not keep quiet. She rushed to Jesus for a miracle so that the newly wedded couple won’t face any stigma. And a miracle happened! Don’t be apathetic when people face difficulties. Rush to their aid like Mary did!

Even during this festive season reach out and do your utmost to the poor, helpless and needy in your vicinity.  Then this Christmas would be a more meaningful season.

Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.  Help us to imbibe the characters of Mary. Help us to reach out to the poor, helpless and the needy. Bless us so that we will be a blessing to others. In Jesus name We Pray.

Amen.

Be Honest and Faithful.

My   Dear   Brother  and  Sister in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has   given   for you today is from the book of Proverbs 15:6 , “The House of the righteous contains  great treasure, but the income of the wicked  brings ruin.”

My Dear Brother And  Sister, From the above context we learn that    In the house of the righteous there will be much treasure,  But the income of the wicked  earned through wrong means,   brings ruin.  Brings  disaster.  God sometimes blesses the righteous with great riches, as he did for Abraham.   However,  Solomon in his Proverbs indicates,  that   if they have  but   little, it is better than the riches of many wicked; because they have,   what they have with a blessing, and they are content with it: and they have abundance of spiritual treasure; they have God for their portion; Christ, and all good things along with him; the rich graces of the Spirit; a rich experience of the grace of God. But in the revenues of the wicked there is much  trouble. Firstly  they have much trouble in getting their riches, by which they  face  a lot  of  troubles. They even go to jail  or will be suspended from their service.  They will be compelled to  go  through many sorrows.  Secondly  they    have much trouble in   preserving   the  wealth that was earned by wrong means.  They  cannot rest nor sleep because of their abundance, lest it should be taken away from them; and they have much trouble in parting with them, when they are, by one providence or another, stripped of them; and, besides, they have them with a curse, and are ever attended with uneasiness, on one account or another.

“A truly just and merciful man is very rich, whether he has  little or much, because he is well contented, and what he has is likely to continue in his family: but there is much disquiet and trouble in the greatest revenues of the wicked; which can neither stay long with him, nor give him satisfaction while he enjoys them.” Secret sins, services, and sorrows, are under God’s eye,  all  the time.   The Bible says, “The wealth of worldly men increases their fears and suspicions, adds strength to their passions, and renders the fear of death more distressing. The Righteous use knowledge aright,  but the heart of the foolish fails  to disperse what is bad. The wicked put other  things  first,   instead of God. They do not  consider  the praying graces are His gift, and the work of his Spirit, with which He is well pleased. From this we understand that  he who  hates correction,  shall perish in his sins, since he would not be able to part from them.

I wish to tell  those of you,  reading this message, that God is righteous and loves righteousness.  He expects everyone to be true and honest in his earnings. You should be true to your work. Never bribe anyone for wrong  task  that you undertake. Remember God is watching you all the time. It is dangerous to fall in the hands of God.  The Bible says, God tests the hearts and mind. He knows your thoughts and your desires. He observes your intentions. If you are faithful in little things, You will receive the blessing of God, and He will lift you to next level in life. If you practice cheating, forgery and misuse of your power and authority, then God will be displeased with you and you might have to bear the brunt  of it. Therefore be careful to fear God in everything you do. Learn to be content with what you have. Then God will surround you with His favour and you shall reap the fruit of happiness, and satisfaction.  God Bless you.

Prayer:  Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for telling us through this message how we ought to be,   with regarding to our income.  We praise You for correcting us and teaching us the right way. Help us to be honest and faithful in our work. Never  to cheat anyone, or take bribe from   others.  May we learn to have fear for God and His word.

 In Jesus  Name We Pray.

Amen.

God Is Our Refuge.

I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has kept for you today is from the book of “Isaiah 54:11, 12, “O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colourful gems, and lay your foundations with sapphires.  I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your gates of crystal, And all your walls of precious stones.”

From the above context we learn that God is our refuge especially to those who are being oppressed. Just as a demolished city lashed by storms needs to be rebuilt God will help you to rebuild   your oppressed state of life with   precious stones of         rubies. God will not only help you to rebuild but also comfort Zion. What is the Lord going to do for you during the period of oppression? He is about to do great many things for you. Firstly He will send his word and comfort you. Secondly, by the power of His word He will give you refuge in your period of affliction. The Bible says, “The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. God says, He Himself will be a Shield, and Shelter, to the oppressed and to those who have been rejected. For the Lord will not only give them refuge, but also help and support them during the time of oppression. The Bible says, “God is our refuge, and strength. A very present help in trouble.”

Are you going through a trying period, of your life. May be you are inflicted because of serious disease or because of loneliness, or have you been dejected because of rejection, and being despised by your dear ones? Are you trapped, due to huge debts, and you are not able to be relieved from it. May be you are frustrated because of shame and humiliation in your life. You are unable to face your friends and relatives. All these oppression causes you to panic and you are gripped in fear and threat. Are the neighbours causing oppression to you? Are you facing oppression at your work spot?  Is someone causing trouble in your ministry? Are people speaking bad about you and your ministry? Well, My God says, when you go through oppression, “I will be a refuge to you. “You are reading this message hoping that God will show you a ray of hope  in your life. The Lord will send His powerful word and comfort and console you. He will protect you from your evil neighbours and from your enemies. All their weapons aimed at you will not prosper because  God will be a wall of fire around you. He will deliver you from the hands of all the wicked and cruel people who do all things to curb you from    your wellbeing.

When people go through oppression, they go far away from all the comforts which they had enjoyed previously in their life, and they are apparently forsaken by God.   But God who seems, to have forgotten them says, Behold, I will lay your stones.  ‘For Jerusalem shall be rebuilt up with sapphires, and emeralds, and precious stones; and of pure gold. And the streets of Jerusalem shall be paved with beryl, and stones of Ophir. Just as God desires to decorate the temple of God in Jerusalem by rebuilding it with precious stones, in a similar way the Lord will brighten up your days with beauty, magnificence, purity, strength, and solidity. God will not only help you to prosper, but He will help you to lie down in peace, once you have passed through the period of oppression.

Prayer:   Our   loving    heavenly Father,   we    thank You for this blessed day. Thank You God for being our refuge and helper in times of oppression. Thank You Lord for telling us the reason why You allow affliction in our life. Help us to remember You and return back to You. Give us the strength to bear our trials and affliction when we are compelled to go through such oppression. Lord be our strength and shield.  Help us to come out of it quickly and be relieved.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

HUMBLE YOURSELF

Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 2 Chronicles 7: 14, “’If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
From the above context we learn that, if the people will humble themselves then God will hear their cry from heaven and will heal their lands. We see how Jesus, while He was on the face of this earth, remained very silent wherever He went. He was not proud of the miracles He performed or boasted of Himself of all His achievements. He was polite with his disciples. He was compassionate with the multitude of people. He was kind, gentle and humble in his behaviour. He was God in human form. He knew the pain and agony of the people. He was full of love. So He commands us to love one another as God loved us. He came to do His Father’s will from heaven. He was gentle even with little children. He said, “Do not hinder the little children from coming to me.” He carried them in His arms. Though He was the son of God yet He took the form of a poor man.
God says, “ If you, who are called by My name, will humble yourselves, and seek My face and turn from your wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive your sins and will heal Your land.” Learn to humble your selves in the mighty hands of God. Then God will exalt you in due season. He will cause you to stand tall before all those who degraded you. It is a simple thing for God to do. Those who told you that, “You will never prosper. That is the end of you. I will see that you die. I shall see that you will never rise up in life, in the future. You will never advance in life. I will see you beg on the streets.”Before such people God will make you to stand tall. Don’t bother about all that they say. Just ignore their saying. Because God is going to lift you up and make you to be seated along with the princes of this world. Halleluiah!

There was a man called Jephthah in the Bible. His brothers rejected him because of his illegal birth. So, Jephthah set up shop as an outlaw prince, in Tob, and “a gang of men gathered around him and followed him. ” His band of men earned a reputation as skilled fighters, and Jephthah himself became known as “a mighty warrior.” The Ammonites invaded Israel to reclaim lands taken from their ancestors by Joshua and the Israelites. That frightened the elders of Gilead and so the elders and the brothers of Jephthah pleaded him for help. Jephthah agreed to his brothers saying that he will lead an Israelite army and His brothers who once chased him now accepted his bargain and made him the leader of the army to fight against the Ammonites. If he won the battle, he would be anointed “head”—a judge, over the Hebrews. Similarly in case you are rejected and despised by your relatives and other people God will exalt you, as He exalted Jephthah. God who raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people, will surely and certainly, lift your name above everyone and honour you with riches, wealth and long life. So learn to be humble before God and men, and then you shall be exalted. God bless you.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for teaching us the need to be humble, in order to be exalted in life. Teach us to inherit the nature of Christ, who is a role model. May we be silent, sober, kind and loving with all whom we come in contact. Give us the grace to tolerate others. And live a life pleasing unto God.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.

The Lord Leads Us

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word  that  God  has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book of  Joel 2:26 “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord  your God.”

From the above context we see the promise of God assured to His people through Prophet Joel. This is a prophetical word to all those of you who are reading this message, as to what the Lord is about to do for you after these days. The Lord says, “You shall eat in plenty.” I have heard some people say,   “I was unable to provide food for my child. My son has gone to school without taking any food, or you might say, “My Son has gone to college without having his food,” and so you are very distressed to think about your poor state of life that you could not provide even food for your children. But today the Lord is saying, “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied.”

Today we see how the Lord has given, us much growth and advancement during these days, while our grandparents and elderly people are still alive with us to see the vast development and prosperity of our days, that they had missed in their earlier days. These days God has blessed us so much that we compel our children to eat well to the full. We see mothers running behind their children to feed them. The Lord has provided such abundance, these days. Our children are going to see much more than these in the days to come. Hallelujah!  Our God is one who will lead us in a wonderful way. We often think what is the Lord doing for us? Just look back and see the past days of life, as to how we were brought up.

But we see how wonderfully the Lord is leading us. The children of God are advancing day by day. In those days there were only huts made of mud and bricks, every side we turn to. People made bricks by themselves. But today a large quantity of baked bricks is brought by lorry trucks, to help them construct their houses. In those days, the mother, father, and their children would get together to make mud bricks. Children would go a long distance to locate   hand pumps, to bring pots of water to help their parents.  They in turn would stamp the mud like clay, with their feet, and make bricks by themselves. There was no proper roof with tiles. But they would take the leaves from the palm trees, weave them and use them as roof for covering their mud huts.  Once in two months they would change the roof. But look at the development we have today. The lifestyle has changed considerably in these modern times. The Lord is leading us miraculously.

May be you too have been going through tough period, in feeding and growing up your children. You might have been caught up in debts, or you might have taken huge loan for paying the fees for your children or  for medical treatment of   someone sick in your family, as a result you  would have been  unable to feed your children   properly with good food or meet their expectation.  But   prophetically God is saying that you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied. God will open ways and means for you to meet all your financial needs.  For the Bible says, “My God will meet all your needs according to His Glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”  So believe in Jesus for your sustenance. God Bless You.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for making us understand how, You have changed our times to see better days. Lord we praise You and also uphold You for helping us to eat well and be satisfied. Enrich us to meet our financial needs according to your promise.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
