Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 1 Samuel 26:23, “May the Lord repay everyman for his righteousness and his faithfulness. For the Lord delivered you into my hand today, but I would not stretch out my hand against the lords anointed.”
From the above context we see that David was anointed by God to be the next king of Israel. But Saul hated David. Therefore he tried to kill him. God refused to talk to Saul, because he offered the sacrifices by himself, just before prophet Samuel could arrive to perform the rituals, before they could go to war with the Philistines. So the Spirit of the Lord had left Saul. David advises Saul to seek God’s pardon. But Saul refused to seek God’s mercy instead, he wore on ordinary robe in disguise and went in search of the witch of Endor who was a woman, who did black magic, with whom, Saul consulted to summon the spirit of the dead, prophet Samuel in order to receive advice against the Philistines in battle. The spirit of Samuel came up and said, “The Lord has left you, And the Lord has given the kingdom to David. The Lord will bring down the entire army of Israel in defeat.” Because of this an evil spirit was sent in punishment, of Saul’s sin. Saul failed to keep the command of the Lord, God of Israel. So God chose David to be the next king of Israel. From then on Saul began to attack David from all corner. Saul engaged David to play his harp to drive away the tormenting spirit from him. Whenever the tormenting spirit troubled Saul, He would ask David to play his harp. Then Saul would feel better. And the tormenting spirit would go away. At times Saul threw his spear at David, but he escaped. Saul tried to pin David on to the wall by his javelin while he was playing his harp to drive away the evil spirit from him.
Later Saul came to know that “David was hiding in the Desert of En Gedi.” So Saul took three thousand able young men from all Israel and set out to look for David and his men near the mountains of the Wild Goats. Then David crept up unnoticed and cut off a corner of Saul’s robe, while he was fast asleep and showed it to him. In fact David had every chance to kill king Saul but he spared his life because he was anointed by God. David said to Saul, “This day you have seen with your own eyes how the Lord delivered you into my hands in the cave. I had every opportunity to kill you but I spared you; I said, ‘I will not lay my hand on my lord, because he is the Lord’s anointed.’ May the Lord judge between you and me. And may the Lord avenge the wrongs you have done to me, but my hand will not touch you, though you have been chasing me like A dead dog. May the Lord be our judge and decide between us. May He consider my cause and uphold it; may he vindicate me by delivering me from your hand.” Saul realized his mistake and said to David, May the Lord reward you well for the way you treated me today. I know that you will surely be the king and that the kingdom of Israel will be established in your hands
Has any one targeted you like king Saul. God is saying to those of you who are reading this message that no one will ever target you. Even if they did God would nullify their actions. God says, “No man shall stand before you all the days of your life. Jehovah will cause your enemies that rise up against you, to be smitten just before your eyes. You will see the fall of your enemy. They will come against you from one direction but they will flee away from you in seven directions. Just as God delivered David, from the hands of King Saul God will deliver you and your children from your enemies. People from your own family might cause trouble to you but they shall not prevail over you as God is with you to protect you. The Lord says, “Do not be afraid, of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked, when it comes. For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. So cling to God like David. Then you shall be saved from your enemies. God Bless You.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank You for saving David from the hands of King Saul. Lord save us too from the hands of our enemies in our business centre, within our own family. Help us to identify them and keep away from such people who cause trouble to us and spoil the harmony of our family.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. “
From the above context we see that God has plans for you to give you a future and a hope, and not to do evil. The plans that God has laid for you will only bring about peace. God’s plans for you will not cause you any harm. God has already laid down plans to prosper you and your children. Only satan has laid some evil plans for you. He is always standing at your side to do evil to you. But the Lord whoever loves is always at your side to execute good plans for you and desires to give you an expected end. If you choose the plans of the devil, your end will be evil. But if you choose the Lord’s plan, your future will be bright and peaceful. The choice is yours. And Joshua said unto all the people [of Israel], choose you this day whom ye will serve; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” Just as Joshua, you need to make the right choice.
Many youngsters and elderly people are reading this message today. God has a plan for each one of you. Some of you think that you have lost your future because you did not study well or score good grades. Never mind do not be afraid God will help you to shine. God is creating a new plan for you. He is opening new opportunities for you. New ways and doors for you to prosper in your life. That plan will give you a bright future. And not cause you sorrow. Once a government official came to meet me for prayer. He told me that he was transferred to a distant, remote place as punishment. So he hesitated to take up the order. I told him that God has a plan and purpose for him to go there. Maybe the higher authorities would have considered as a punishment for him. But for God it is to fulfil His plan in that Brothers life. So I encouraged him to take up the order and join the duty. He did many good things for the people in that locality as a result they loved him and would not let him go. He grew famous and this news reached the higher officials as a result he was given promotion and quarters, and also other facilities. Life became a blessing to him as he chose to accept the plan of God for him.
Having read this message you might be wondering what you should do. God says, “This is the way go in it and you shall be blessed.” If you obey the voice of God you will be blessed. The plan of the wicked will be defeated and you shall be successful. Always be positive. Tell the Lord, that you wish to follow His footsteps. You will no more engage in any evil activities that will displease God. Just as God honoured that Government officer God will honour you. Next time when he visited me he said, in spite of some inconvenience he has worked for the upliftment of that society, as a result he has earned the love and respect of the people there. People honour him and the joy he derives from having served them is worth telling. God changed the attitude of that brother. He found contentment in his work and that gave him great pleasure and job satisfaction. When you choose the plan of God surely you will enjoy your job and your life will be worth living. You will be a blessing to others. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank You, for helping us to realize that you have a plan for us that would prosper us and not cause sorrow. Teach us to make the right choice in our life. May we learn to discern from the good and the evil.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved in Christ! I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 50:20, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”
We see that the brothers of Joseph thought to do evil, but God turned their evil plan in favour of Joseph. May be you have lost many opportunities because you have taken decision on your own without consulting with God the Father who created you and has given you life. Yet God has given you another opportunity. So you are expecting a good end. All of you reading this message are expecting a good end for all your problems or for all that you have planned to happen in your life. You are quite afraid as to where your plans will lead you to. When you surrender your ways to the Lord and according to the ways of the Lord, then you will receive blessing from the Lord.
Dearly Beloved, Joseph had to suffer hardship in the house of Pottiphar during his younger days, in Egypt. The devil had devised an evil plan for his life, by Pottiphar’s wife. Satan’s plan was to test his chastity. Satan thought that if Joseph cooperated with Potiphar’s wife to do the evil thing, then he could enjoy all that was available in his master’s house. Satan induced such evil plan in the mind of Joseph, but God remembered Joseph in Egypt. God doesn’t rest when trouble comes in the lives of His precious children. So when Joseph was troubled by Pottiphar’s wife, God rescued him from her evil plan and he was falsely accused by her and thrown into the prison. Even in the prison God showed him mercy through the Jailor. God allows good times and bad times in the lives of his children, but He puts everything into place to help you grow in the Lord. Even when God allows bad things to happen in your lives, He is able to turn the bad situation for the good purpose of your life. God came down in a marvellous manner and stood by his side, and caused him to depart from her presence. God had great plans for Joseph in Egypt. God says, “
I have prosperous plans for you.”Joseph submitted himself in the hands of God to be used for His GREAT purpose. Though he suffered in the jail for some time suddenly God brought him out of the prison and made him the governor of Egypt because he was able to interpret the dream of the Pharaoh because Joseph provided means of living for the people of Egypt, and saved them from famine.
Though his beginning was small and insignificant the latter part of his life was awesome. He was blessed abundantly. His life was an example that shows how bad things in life can result in unexpected good outcome. The key is how we handle events that take place in our life and the choices we make in our lives. Joseph’s brothers did evil to Joseph by selling him to Egyptian merchants. But there God honoured him since he surrendered his life to the Lord. God will honour you also in the same way. May be you are trapped by someone like Pottiphar’s wife, and you are unable to come out from their hands. But make a good choice not to give room for the devil to deceive you. God will deliver you as he delivered Joseph from her evil plan and save your life. God will intervene on your behalf and save you. He has better plans for you so he will never forsake you. But He will exalt you and make you successful before the eyes of your enemies. Joseph’s brothers who threw him into the pit and later sold him to the merchants, saw Joseph as the Governor of Egypt and they all bowed down before him and received food grains from Joseph. Joseph became a blessing to his brothers and his father Jacob. May God help you to find favour from God and be a blessing to others. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank You for Joseph, who in spite of good opportunity in Pottiphar’s house, refused to commit evil and departed from doing sin. May we also flee from sin and glorify God physically. Help us to endure troubles patiently and never murmur at God for the sufferings we go through. Help us to realize that everything is a passing phase of life and help us to reach out to the prize of the High calling that is set before us.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalm 115:12,” The Lord has been mindful of us ; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.”
My Dear Brothers And Sisters, from the above context , we learn that God will bless the family of Israel. But who was this Israel? He was earlier known as Jacob, the son of Isaac, but God changed his name as Israel. As long as he was called Jacob , He was cheating all the people around him. He cheated his brother, his father, and his uncle. But God was mindful of him. God was with him. In spite of his cheating nature God never forsook him. God was remembering him. God was following him wherever he went as God loved Israel. But one day God said. “ You will no more be called Jacob. Here after you will be called Israel.” All your old character has to be changed. You have come to settle here, in Canaan, so you have to change your nature. You have to come back as a new person. You went out from here as Jacob. But now you have to return as Israel. After the Lord had blessed him as Israel the generation that came after him were known as the tribe of Israel. Today God is telling those of you who are reading this message, that till today you have been like Jacob. You might have been cheating others until now. You might have been a proud person till today. You might have done many wrong things against others. You might have been a person filled with a sinful nature. But you ought to change your character to that of a humble person, then the Lord will bless you.
My Dear Brothers And Sisters, Today you confess to the Lord that you are a great sinner. Ask God to forgive you of all your sins. Tell the Lord that you desire to be Israel and not Jacob anymore. That you will be the child of God, the prince of God. Ask God to forgive you. Don’t delay the time of your forgiveness. Don’t postpone the time of your repentance. Don’t postpone the time of your blessing. Please utilize the time set before you. This moment of time has been appointed for you. The Lord has prepared this message just for you. To all those of you who are reading this message. I wish to say, that your sin has separated you from God. So you return to God. Accept that you are Jacob, a cheater and today repent of your sins. And call yourself as Israel. The Chosen Vessel of God. The Bible says, It pleases God, to bless Israel. Today all the hindrances will be broken and all the blessings of your life will be fulfilled. All good things will happen in your life from this time onwards.
My Dear Brothers And Sisters, The next part of the verse says, He will bless the house of Aaron. Why is the Lord separating the blessing of Israel from that of Aaron. Because The family of Aaron have been especially separated for priesthood of God. The Lord is giving this word for those of you who are in the ministry. You belong to the family of Aaron. You have been anointed by God to minister unto God. You are born in the tribe of Levi. The Lord is mindful of blessing your family. You are thinking that you came to the ministry, and therefore you could not save anything for your children. But God says, “ I am your portion .” If God Himself is your portion, then what else do you need? You are more blessed than others. God Himself will meet the need of you and your children.May be today you are without anything. But God is saying, “The days of expansion of your ministry will begin in your life.” The time of blessing your children and settling them will begin soon. God is bringing an end to the poverty of you ministry. After these days you will find an increase in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, an increase in your family. Increase in your offspring, increase in your wealth. You will find an increase in every area, of your life. The Lord is going to make you fruitful. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank You for revealing your love for Jacob. Even though he was a cheater, you desired to bless him and changed his name to Israel. Lord in the same manner forgive all our sins and bless us and our children too. We also thank You, Father for blessing the family of Aaron. We thank You for telling us that we belong to the tribe of Levi. We are now serving You Lord, therefore bless us with a double fold blessing.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 11:1, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen.”
From the above context we see that we need faith to please God. The Bible says, all things are possible to them that believe. By faith Enoch did not see death. Hallelujah! We read that Enoch was translated by God, to the heavenly abode. People searched for him on the earth but could not find him anywhere. The good testimony he carried was that Enoch was pleasing unto God, and so He walked with God. He had a family with wife and children. He was not a hermit. He was not alone to walk with God, but even with his family he walked with God which means he never neglected his family. Today we find people say, “I am busy, I hardly have time to attend prayer meeting. “They have time for everything but they have no time for God. They neglect God. They fail to walk with God. Walking with God is to read the Bible, pray and sing and praise God daily for all the good he has done for you in your life. You need to thank Him even when troubles come your way. God will be pleased with you. He will begin to draw close to you.
Enoch was a man of responsibility. Until he was 65 years he was involved in worldly things. Until then he did not have children. The Bible says, Enoch lived 65 years and begot Methuselah. After Methuselah was born Enoch lived 300 years. He lived family life, and begot sons and daughters. Since God blessed Enoch with a miracle baby, Methuselah, from then on he decided to walk with God. So little is mentioned about this man of faith, just a few verses, but because of the testimony Enoch had, almost every believer knows his name. He “walked with God.” Some people feel that they should be a hermit or a sanyasee to walk with God. We find certain people even if God blesses them with children they will never have the desire to walk with God. They take things for granted. Once married they will be blessed with a child. This is a natural way of life. But only those who do not have a child will realize how painful life is. What shame and humiliation they go through. They will never attend any function. Or go anywhere just to avoid being hurt by others. Even those who have received salvation tend to back slide and go away from the presence of God, when things don’t happen the way they expect. But Enoch understood Who God was, and He did all that was pleasing to God. Instead of turning away from God he drew close to God. God loved him and was very merciful to him.
Just like Enoch, many of you reading this message may not have been blessed with children, for many years. Some of you suffer because your business has fallen down. Your loved one is laid with some unknown illness. The doctor is unable to diagnose it. In some cases the education of your children has come to a standstill, due to financial crisis. Some of you are unable to carry on with your ministry, as you lack funds. Whatsoever it might be, as prophesy, God is telling all those of you who are reading this message that God is going to lift you up from your fallen state of life. You will shine. You will be successful in all that you do hereafter, because God has decided to walk with you, as he walked with Enoch and bless your family.
Joshua said, “As for me and my family we will serve the living God.” What about you dear children of God. Choose you this day whom you should serve God or the world. God Bless You.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank You for making us know that Enoch was pleasing to You and that he walked with You. Help us also to walk with You each day of our life. Never to give any reason for being away from you. But to always have a closer walk with You. May our life be hid within Your hands. We choose to be Yours always.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
