Dearly Beloved , I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Psalms 34:6,7 , “This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him from all his troubles. The Angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them”.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, People of God sometimes go through poverty and are afflicted. And in their affliction they cry unto the Lord for support. Especially the people of Israel cried unto the Lord whenever they were in captivity. The Lord heard their cry and delivered them. “This poor man cried, ” can also be referred to that of David himself. He was poor and afflicted much in spirit especially when he was chased by Saul the king of Israel. He ran to Achish the king of Gath. But he was afraid of Achish. So he changed his behaviour, before them, “feigned madness” in their hands. He scratched on the doors, of the gate, and let his saliva fall down on his beard. Then Achish said to his servants, “Look you see this man is insane. Why have you brought this man to me?” Thus David is regarded as the poor man who was being chased by King Saul. But his men recognized him as the anointed king. So again to save his life he fled from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam.
When all his brothers and fathers house heard about it they went down there to meet him. Even though his life was in danger David was worried about his father and mother. So he requested the king of Moab to let them, live with them all the time that David was in the strong hold of King Saul. He was in pain, great distress, and misery while he was running for his life. At that point of time he cried unto the Lord and God heard his cry and rescued him from all his troubles. We see how God spared David from fighting King Saul. Achish king of Gath tells David, “I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me.”
Thus God not only spared David’s life but also saved his father and mother because he walked wisely in all his ways. Having experienced much bitterness in his life David tells, that the angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers him from all his troubles. He makes God his confidence. God will be your confidence too if you rely on Him completely. Even in the most trying period of your life He is more than enough to solve all your problems. Therefore cast your care upon him and He will sustain you. He will not allow the righteous to be moved.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We praise you because You spared the life of Your servant David. From a poor shepherd boy, You rose him to that of a king. Therefore we praise You. Thank You Lord for being David’s confidence. Help us also to totally put our trust in you. Spare our life from destruction. May we make You the Lord of our life.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given for you, today is from the book of Exodus 33:14, And God said to Moses, “ My Presence will go with you, And I will give you rest. ”
From the above context we understand that God assured Moses that His presence would go before the people of Israel thus leading them safely into the Promised Land. Many of you are reading this message expecting something good to happen in your life because all these years, you had to pass through rough and crooked ways in front of you. You never could pass on smoothly. There were many hurdles and barriers that you had to cross over. So you are looking out for God to help you in your journey. Your people could have laid snare, to trap you. They could have done evil deeds, like witch craft, sorcery, and black magic against you that you should not do well, in life. Even the Israelites, were looking out to God to redeem them from the cruel hands of the Egyptians. While Joseph the son of Jacob, was the Governor of Egypt, Jacob and all his sons and their families went to settle in the land of Goshen, it was a land suitable to rear their cattle. After the death of Joseph the people of Israel were mistreated by the Egyptians. They were made to build huge construction and buildings; They had to make bricks without hay. The Bible says, that God knew the sorrows of his people suffering in Egypt. God said to Moses, “I have surely seen the oppression of My people, who are in Egypt and have heard their cry, because of their taskmasters. ”
God sent Moses to deliver his people from the land of Egypt, to the land of Canaan. The Israelites set off on their journey to the Promised Land. God provided manna from heaven to sustain them and water from the rock, yet the people complained and murmured against the Lord. Nevertheless, God in His grace revealed Himself at Mount Sinai through thunder, lightning, and dense cloud. His presence was very much felt by the people of Israel. Despite all the miraculous things that were performed by Yahweh, the people of Israel grew weary of waiting for Moses from the mount Sinai. They urged Aaron to make a golden calf for them to worship, by offering to him their gold jewels, and they began to make merry, saying, “This is your god, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt!” On seeing this the Lord told Moses, “Go down at once, for your people have corrupted themselves, and made for themselves a molten calf, and have worshiped it and have sacrificed to it.” Then The Lord said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people. Now then let Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation.”
Israel’s shocking display of obstinacy, and unbelief caused God’s furious anger to burn against them. Although He had promised to give Israel their promised land the Lord told Moses, “I will send an angel before you and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, and lead you into the promised land. So You go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up in your midst, because you are an obstinate people, and I might destroy you on the way”. Actually the Lord God Yahweh went before them in a pillar of cloud during the day and as pillar of fire during the night. The People of Israel, were a stubborn and rebellious people. Moses knew that the destruction of Israel, would discredit the Lord’s character before their Egyptian enemies. And so we find this godly man interceding for his stiff-necked brethren and pleading for God’s mercy and grace.
Moses pleaded with the Lord, that if he had found favour in God’s eyes, He would not cut off His people Israel. Moses had been faced with a tremendous challenge and interceded with boldness on behalf of his people. Moses knew that without the Lord their journey into Canaan would be futile and their lives would be fruitless. And Moses also knew that if Israel failed to enter the land, God’s name would be disgraced and His character would be dishonoured among their pagan neighbours. Moses’ heart’s desire was that God’s presence would be with them and that the Lord would be glorified through His people. So he interceded on behalf of His people. He requested God, to accompany them into their promised land. He pleaded with the Lord to consider this nation, as “His People. “He also said, “If your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” And the Lord graciously replied – “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.”
I wonder if we would intercede so passionately for others who wronged us or defend the character of God with such fervour, as Moses did. I wonder if when tested like Moses we would be prepared to put aside our own welfare to defend the integrity of God and for the benefit of others. If you learn from Moses these principles I am sure the Presence of the Yahweh, will surely go before you, and He will set right all the crooked ways of your life and help you to achieve the desires of your heart. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in. From this time forth, and even for ever more. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You that You are a God Who is faithful and true, and Who has promised to be with us as we journey through life and give us Your rest – just as You did for Your people Israel. Thank You for the godly example of Moses, who was jealous for the honour of Your name, and was quick to intercede for Your people when they became obstinate and stiff-necked. Thank You that I have the indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit to lead and to guide me through the journey of life and thank You, Father, that my rest and redemption is secure in Christ.
In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of , 2 Corinthians 8:9, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.”
From the above context we come to understand that Jesus became poor in order that you and I should, become rich. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is beyond expression. The Bible says, Grace abounds for forgiveness of sins. More than that, there is abundance of grace to bring us to a life of overcoming sin. God saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages, began. And since grace has been given to each one of us, Paul in his Epistles instructs us to excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness and see that we excel in this act of grace also.
Paul began to draw a stark and astonishing comparison with the great and generous grace that God had bountifully poured out upon all humanity through our Lord Jesus Christ – for though He was rich beyond all measure, yet for our sakes He became poor, so that by His poverty He could make us rich, beyond our wildest imaginings. What Love! What Grace! What a God!
In His perfect divinity and divine nature dwelt all the fullness of the Triune God head and in whom resided all the glorious, infinite, eternal attributes of God in all their fullest measure. Our minds cannot conceive of the infinite riches of the eternal Son of God, in the majesty of His existence. Because all things were made by Him – all the riches of the earth and the wealth of sky – the treasures of the oceans and the bountiful resources of the vast universe – all things were made by Him and all things were made for Him. All these unimaginable riches and the glories of His elevated heavenly status were laid aside simply because of His GRACE towards us. All the inconceivable and vast riches of His glory were set aside for your sake and for mine and He stripped Himself of everything – becoming so poor that He did not even have a place to rest His head.
Though He was the Creator of the universe He was born into a human race that had rebelled against their creator – He came into a fallen world that was lying in the evil one – a world that was in bondage to the evil governance of Satan a created being who rebelled against His Creator God and the Son of God did all this for love of you and for love of me – so that by His deep poverty we might become rich. Gods children should always be the best. Even our speech should be seasoned with grace. People should say, He is God’s dear child. God’s children should look good in appearance, both in dressing and mannerism. When others see you, they should be able to identify you as God’s Children.
God’s children will never lack any good thing. God does not prefer that we should suffer or live in pain and agony. Instead he wants you to be blessed in every way. In order to make you rich He became poor. That is why Jesus suffered on the cross of Calvary at Golgotha because; He wanted all of us to become rich. God gave Job a double portion of blessing in life. To get God’s blessing we need to throw away all the dirt from our lives. If you displease God in anyway, you will not get the blessings that He has kept for you in your life. You should be perfect in all things in your life. God Bless You.
Prayer : Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Loving Lord and heavenly God – how great is Your grace and love towards us– that You would strip Yourself of all You had and all You were to live a life of humiliating poverty, so that we could be saved from our sin and become a son of God. We Praise Your holy name, Lord give us victory in our life. Help us to live without failure in our life. We should be victorious in our spiritual life, too. We should be able to overcome the world, flesh and Satan. Let us shine in the Lord.
In Jesus Name.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our God, who created and formed us and who never ever forgets us. The blessed word that God has given for you, today is from the book of Isaiah 45:2, “I Will Go Before You And Make The Crooked Places Straight.”
Many of you who are reading this message seemed to be in a confused state of life whether to go out or remain indoors. The Lord is telling each one of you that you need not worry as to what may befall your way, for Jesus will go before you. All you need to do is to follow Him. You can be confident in your going out and in your coming in because the Lord who created you is with you wherever you go. Jesus will go before you and make the crooked places straight. He will smoothen the rough road for you to pass buy. He does not want your foot to be hurt. He will send his angels to take charge of you. How many of you are happy that the Living God is going before you.
The one who goes before you is not an ordinary man but He is the God who has created you and formed you in your mother’s womb and your frame is always before Him. He knows all about you, Your weakness and your strength. He wants to help you. He wants to guide you. He wants to assist and help you in all your daily dealings. The one who knows your needs and wants to bless you says. “I will go before you.” Hallelujah!
Why should Jesus go before you? He wanted to rescue you from the oncoming danger. The spirit of destruction might be ahead of you and would want to destroy you. But Jesus goes before you to protect you.
God says, forget everything, there is a special divine relationship between the two of us, Father and son / daughter relationship. The son knows for sure that if he holds his father’s hand he can easily cross the road or go about anywhere he likes. That is the confidence he has in his father. Even a small child will simply trust her father, for she is confident, that her father will lead her safe home. She will simply trust her father, and keep moving. If these children can trust their earthly father why can’t you trust your heavenly father? From today you should tell the Lord, that you do not want to go alone without Jesus. Hereafter wherever you go, you take your Father along with you. The Lord Himself has said, “It is not right for you to be alone or go alone. For if you go alone the Devil will deceive you. When you go alone He will provoke you to sin. When you are alone, He will insist you to take away your life. The Lord Jesus knows all the plans of the Devil. So the Lord says, He will not send you alone anywhere hereafter. Since you went alone you fell into sin and got caught into many dangers. You got trapped in unwanted issues. In debts, in court cases, and many dangers because you walked without wisdom. So God says, “ If I let him go alone then he will get caught in something or other.”Therefore God has decided never to let you go alone.
On that day when Eve was alone without Adam, the Devil easily deceived her and caused her to sin. Therefore never go alone. It will be a great blessing if go along with Lord Jesus Christ . In that case you need not to worry about anything for the Lord goes ahead of you. He goes before you to straighten all the crooked ways before you. The roads may be filled with many mounds, and pot holes. The Lord will go before you and level the road for your foot not to slip, or be hurt over a rock or a stone. He cares for you. So trust Him . God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for telling us that You are willing to come along with us wherever we go out. Teach us to hold Your hand and go along with You. Never to doubt You, but always lean on You. Grant us Your blessings when we decide to walk along with You. Help us never to get caught in unnecessary issues or dangerous situations. Do not give us into the hand of the evil one but protect us from him.
In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless every one of you in the Mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 2 Chronicles 7:11, “ Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king’s house, and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart, to make in the house of the Lord and in his own”
From the above context we see how Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned to do. Solomon went on in his work, and prosperously effected all that he designed for the adorning both of God’s house and his own. Those that begin with the service of God are likely to go on successfully in their own affairs. It was Solomon’s praise that what he undertook he went through with and it was by the grace of God that he prospered in it. Hallelujah!
May be until this day whatever you had been planning to do, regarding your family, or your children, or for your future would have been a failure. Nothing seemed to work the way you expected. So you have been disappointed all these days. But to those of you who are reading this message, I wish to say that the Lord will help you to accomplish all that you have planned to do in your life. What you need to do is to be thankful to the Lord for what He has already done in your life, “Have a heart of gratitude,” like King Solomon. Then you will be successful in the journey of your life.
May be you started certain things but you couldn’t. It may be your house construction, or your business, or your plan to go abroad to make a better life. But all your plans remain unaccomplished. You couldn’t be successful in your venture because of financial deficit, lack of obtaining permission from the Government, or many other reasons. What you couldn’t accomplish will be completed by the grace of God this year. Nothing can obstruct you from completing your vision, or your plan or desire. God wants you to be successful in the purpose of your journey. Hence your journey will be successful. For whatever purpose or reason you wish to travel, the Lord will help you to be successful. You might have roamed here and there regarding a particular matter, but you would have received a message in contradictory to your request. And therefore you seem to be crying over the issue. God knows your wanderings, He has stored your tears in His bottle.
You might have been to the court several times, or you might have been going many times to see the lawyer, but you have not found any solution to your problem. You had been to the hospital often yet you found no remedy to your sickness. So you are pained at heart, and so you are filled with tears. May be you are broken in heart and reading this message with deep distress and grief, since you have failed in all your pursuit, until this day. But God is prophetically saying that from today onwards, your journey will be successful. Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David, and the king went to Gibeon an important altar and offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. God was so pleased with him. Therefore God honoured him. Similarly the purpose for which you are undertaking will be fruitful in the days to come. You will accomplish the purpose for what you are going and return successfully. There will be no more failures hereafter in your life if you offer yourself unto the Lord and walk according to His statues. Be grateful to God always. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord teach us to approach God when we are in trouble. Help us to seek the Lord in prayer. And may we praise and glorify His name, in order that we may be victorious in all the battles that are set before us. Lord give us the understanding to be grateful to God for all that He had done in the past. May we be like king Solomon who showed his gratitude to God by offering sacrifice unto His God.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
