Daniel 1:8 “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the kings delicacies nor with the wine which he drank.”
Daniel was a noble Jewish youth of Jerusalem. He was taken into captivity by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed Nego, were brought to serve in the kings palace. The king granted for them a daily provision of his royal food and wine which he drank and training was given for them that they might serve before the king. But Daniel refused to eat of the kings delicacies and the wine that was offered to him. He made a commitment in his heart that he will not defile himself with the royal food. Daniel and his companions proved to be the wisest of all the trainees and at the end of their training they entered the service of king Nebuchadnezzar.
Even though the decree had been published Daniel went upstairs to his room, and facing towards Jerusalem he prayed three times a day. He was a man of prayer. Therefore God raised Daniel to a high office by his royal master Darius. But his rivals tricked king Darius into issuing a degree which condemned Daniel to death. God delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. King Darius promoted Daniel and his friends to higher status in the kingdom.
Have you taken a stand for the Lord? Have you compromised with the things of this world? The Bible says, The Lord has set apart for Himself, him who is godly. Are you set apart for God? Today if you make a commitment to God and obey the precepts of God and walk in the ways of God, then you will do well in your life and prolong your days in the land which you possess, like Daniel who lived in a land culture not his own yet proved unique among all the people of his times because of his faithful service to the Lord.
God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father we thank you for this blessed day. Help us to be zealous like Daniel and stand for you . The Bible says that the Lord has set apart for Himself who is Godly. Help us to lead a Godly life. Be with us and guide us.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless every one of you in the Mighty name of our
Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is
from the book of Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the
Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that
were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
From the above context we see how Jesus while He lived upon the face of this
earth 2000 years ago went about doing good to the people. God anointed His
son Jesus of Nazareth, the anointed prophet, priest, and King; who lived at
Nazareth, and he was educated there, and he chiefly preached there and
performed his miracles, he was called Jesus of Nazareth: and God anointed,
Him with the Holy Ghost and with power; with the gifts and graces of the
Spirit, without measure. God filled Him with “the oil of gladness”. And poured
His Spirit on Jesus and all those who followed Him. . And one extraordinary
and immeasurable gifts of the Spirit, bestowed on him as man, was the power
of doing miracles: As a result Jesus went about; the land of Judea and all
Galilee; doing good with diligence, and delight: to all the people who sought
Him for help. The Bible says, “Jesus was good himself, essentially and naturally
good, and therefore he did good, and he did nothing but good: he knew no sin,
nor any sin could be found in Him; and he always did good, that which was
according to the will of God, the Father, and well pleasing in His sight; .He
went about healing all that were oppressed of the devil; both in body, as
“lunatics, epileptics, and demoniacs”; and in soul, such as were led captive by
him: for God was with Him;
Jesus never did harm to anyone. He always did good. He attended a wedding
at Cana. He found that the wine in the wedding house was running short. In
order to avoid the Lord of the house from being put to shame He changed the
ordinary water into new tasty wine and asked the servants to distribute the
wine to the guests. Thus He performed His first miracle and brought praise and
honour to the Lord of that house. On His way to Capernaum, he met a woman
who was suffering from an issue of blood for twelve long years. She believed
that Jesus could heal her of her illness which the doctors couldn’t heal, even
though she spent all her savings over her treatment. The moment she touched
the hem of His garment she received healing as the virtue of Jesus was
released from His body. Her faith had brought her healing. Jesus then went to
the house of Jairus, to see his dying daughter. When He reached her house, He
noticed that all were crying over the death of the little girl. So Jesus said to
them, do not weep, she is not dead, but sleeping. ”Jesus sent all the people
away, took the girl by her hand and said, “Little girl arise.”Then her spirit
returned, and she arose, immediately. And her parents were astonished at
the miracle of Jesus.
Today Jesus is coming to your house, to do something good for you and your
children. Marriages that did not happen until today will begin to happen.
Separated families will unite together. The blockade of your marriage will be
uprooted and things will go on smoothly. Jesus who went about doing good
2000 years ago, is the same yesterday today and forever.
God Bless you.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord
teach us to believe in the miracle power of Jesus. We believe that He is able to
do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask, think or pray. We believe
that God is going to do good for us .
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless every one of you in the Mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 1 Timothy 5:4, “ if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety at home and to repay their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God.”
From the above context we see how in those days there was no social assistance system from the government. As a result elderly widows, who were usually without support from husbands, were left on their own without means to adequately support themselves or their grown up children. God expects us to do good to others. You should learn to do what is good and pleasing unto the Lord. While Jesus lived on the face of this earth He went about doing well. He desires that we also should do well to others, especially to the widows and the fatherless.
If parents do good to others then their children will also learn from their parents to do good to others. And when they do good to others, God will be pleased with them. Many of you who are reading this message must have done good to please your husband, wife, children or any other persons. But have you pleased God? If you want to please God then you ought to do many good deeds to others. You need to help the poor the down trodden, those who are old and desperate, those who are widows and widowers. God expects you to introduce those in the ministry to the poor and needy that they may be blessed. You need to guide the helpless in the ways of God so that not only they, but you also shall be blessed by bringing them to the saving Knowledge of God. When you do that which is pleasing unto the Lord then He will help you inherit the Land property that is due unto you. He will release you from the court case. He will give you that job which you are looking for into your hand. God will give you that project which you are longing for, so that you may be successful.
In case you have not done any good deed to others until today, learn to do good deeds, in order that God might be pleased with you. Do good things that are pleasing unto God. Then God will hasten to do good deeds for you and your children. The Bible says, “Will God say and not do it? He is not a man that He should lie. God shows no partiality. He will not be a debtor to others.
Beloved know that the Lord is always watching you, carefully and observing all the good you are doing for the benefit of your children. He knows your struggles, your wanderings to do good for your children, the tears that you have shed, in order to give your children sound education, good employment and also to have met all their deeds, so that they might live in the society with praise and fame, and lack no good thing. Your children will never be put to shame. No one will criticize them for any reason, or provoke them to anger. Rather they will be appreciated and respected in the society. Since you have sacrificed your life for the welfare of your children, God will in turn cause your children to recollect your good deeds to them and help them repay good deeds to those of you who are single. Halleluiah! God tells this through me, prophetically as a promise and assurance that you will be blessed in the latter part of your life, for having been good to your children and your grandchildren. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord teaches us to do good deed to others. Help us to consider the poor and the needy, the widow and the fatherless Lord. We thank You for assuring us of Your blessing to single parents. Help us to see better days according to the days we have seen evil. Multiply our joy and grant us peace. Bless our children in their work place, in their family life. Exalt them in the society that others may see Christ through their wellbeing.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Judges 18:6, “And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. May the presence of the Lord, be with you on your way.”
From the above context we come to know about the journey, the Dainties were about to take, in order to inherit the portion of land that had not fallen to them. In those days there was no king in Israel. And in those days the tribe of the Danites was seeking an inheritance for itself to dwell in; for until that day their inheritance among the tribes of Israel had not fallen to them. So the children of Dan sent five men of their family from their territory, men of valor from Zorah and Eshtaol, to spy out the land and search it. They said to them, “Go, search the land.” So they went to the mountains of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there. For until that day their inheritance among the tribes of Israel had not fallen to them.
Prophet Micah returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver which he had taken from his mother. She blessed her son and told that she had wanted him to make some idols for worship. She in turn gifted the shekels of silver to her son and she took two hundred shekels of silver gave it to the silver smith and asked him to make a carved image and a moulded image. And they were in the house of Micah. He had a shrine and made an ephod, and many household idols. Just then a young man from Bethlehem, in Judah, came to the house of Micah. He was a Levite. So Micah hired him to be a father, and a priest to him and take care of his shrine and idols. In return he gave him ten shekels of silver and a suit of clothes. So the young Levite lived in the house of Micah. Then he knew that the Lord will be pleased with him as he had a Levite as priest. By employing a Levite, Micah thought it was a sign of God’s favour to him and his images that a Levite should come to his door.
While the five spies from the tribe of Dan, namely the Danites, wereat the house of Micah, They met the young Levite from Bethlehem in Judah. They inquired about his where about, and the young man had told them, “all that Micah had done for him and that He had hired him , and therefore he had become his priest. ” So they said to him, “Please inquire of God, that we may know whether the journey on which we go will be prosperous.” And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. The presence of the LORD is with you on your way.” He told them, “Your design or plan is under the eye of God; that is, under his direction, protection, and care.”
So the five men departed and went to Laish. They saw the people who were there, how they dwelt safely, quiet and secure. There were no rulers in the land who might put them to shame for anything. They were far from the Sidonians, and they had no ties with anyone. Then the spies came back to their brethren at Zorah and Eshtaol. The five men encouraged them, “Arise, let us go up against them for we have seen the land, and indeed it is very good. Do not hesitate to go, that you may enter, to possess the land. When you go, you will come to a secure people and a large land. For God has given it into your hands, a place where there is no lack of anything that is on the earth.”
Have you decided to travel to a distant place regarding your job or in search of a bride or bridegroom for your children, Or is it that you wish to travel abroad, on onsite job undertaking, Or on holy land tour, where is it that you have decided to go? And if so have you consulted with your church Pastor, or the Elder of your church. Have they given you assurance of your safety and security for your journey. If not do consult with them. They will pray for you and it will be a blessing to you, and your family. When they pray for you and give counselling like the priest who directed the five men from the tribe of Dan to make their journey, saying, that the Lord was with them and their journey will be prosperous. They will inherit the land that they were looking for. You also ask God whether your journey is pleasing unto the Lord. And if it is God’s will, then God will prosper your travel too. You will reach the destination, that you wish to go and return safely having accomplished your purpose successfully. God Bless You.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for directing our steps. Teach us to consult with the Elder or the Pastor of the church whenever we make a journey. Help them to pray for our safety and security. Be with us Lord in our journey that we undertake. Enable the purpose of our journey to be fruitful.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless every one of you in the Mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 2 Chronicles 7:11, “ Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king’s house, and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart, to make in the house of the Lord and in his own
From the above context we see how Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned to do. Solomon went on in his work, and prosperously effected all that he designed for the adorning both of God’s house and his own. Those that begin with the service of God are likely to go on successfully in their own affairs. It was Solomon’s praise that what he undertook he went through with and it was by the grace of God that he prospered in it. Hallelujah!
May be until this day whatever you had been planning to do, regarding your family, or your children, or for your future would have been a failure. Nothing seemed to work the way you expected. So you have been disappointed all these days. But to those of you who are reading this message, I wish to say that the Lord will help you to accomplish all that you have planned to do in your life. What you need to do is to be thankful to the Lord for what He has already done in your life, “Have a heart of gratitude,” like King Solomon. Then you will be successful in the journey of your life.
May be you started certain things but you couldn’t. It may be your house construction, or your business, or your plan to go abroad to make a better life. But all your plans remain unaccomplished. You couldn’t be successful in your venture because of financial deficit, lack of obtaining permission from the Government, or many other reasons. What you couldn’t accomplish will be completed by the grace of God this year. Nothing can obstruct you from completing your vision, or your plan or desire. God wants you to be successful in the purpose of your journey. Hence your journey will be successful. For whatever purpose or reason you wish to travel, the Lord will help you to be successful. You might have roamed here and there regarding a particular matter, but you would have received a message in contradictory to your request. And therefore you seem to be crying over the issue. God knows your wanderings, He has stored your tears in His bottle.
You might have been to the court several times, or you might have been going many times to see the lawyer, but you have not found any solution to your problem. You had been to the hospital often yet you found no remedy to your sickness. So you are pained at heart, and so you are filled with tears. May be you are broken in heart and reading this message with deep distress and grief, since you have failed in all your pursuit, until this day. But God is prophetically saying that from today onwards, your journey will be successful. Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the statutes of his father David, and the king went to Gibeon an important altar and offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. God was so pleased with him. Therefore God honoured him. Similarly the purpose for which you are undertaking will be fruitful in the days to come. You will accomplish the purpose for what you are going and return successfully. There will be no more failures hereafter in your life if you offer yourself unto the Lord and walk according to His statues. Be grateful to God always. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord teach us to approach God when we are in trouble. Help us to seek the Lord in prayer. And may we praise and glorify His name, in order that we may be victorious in all the battles that are set before us. Lord give us the understanding to be grateful to God for all that He had done in the past. May we be like king Solomon who showed his gratitude to God by offering sacrifice unto His God.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
