Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Numbers 12:3, “Now the man Moses, was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.
The patience of Moses was tried in his own family, as well as by the people of Israel. The reason was that he had married a foreign wife; but probably their pride was hurt, and their envy stirred up, by his superior authority. Opposition from our own close relations, and from religious friends, is most painful. At such times, it will be well if in such circumstances we can preserve the gentleness and meekness of Moses. Moses was thus fitted to the work he was called to. God not only cleared Moses, but praised him. Moses had the spirit of prophecy in a way which set him far above all other prophets; yet he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he; and our Lord Jesus infinitely excels him, God expected Miriam and Aaron to consider whom it was that they had insulted. We have reason to be afraid of saying or doing anything against the servants of God. The removal of God’s presence is the surest and saddest token of God’s displeasure. God never departs, till by sin and our own folly we drive him away from us.
In Egypt he was raised as the heir, to the throne of Egypt. The Israelites who entered Egypt during the days of Joseph, suffered enormously in the hands of the Egyptian task masters, after the death of Joseph. Though Moses grew in the house of Pharaoh, when he became of age, he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. Rather he preferred to suffer affliction, with the people of God. He refused to enjoy the passing pleasures of this world. God had chosen him for a great purpose. That was to deliver the people of Israel from Egypt, after 430 years of affliction. The parents of Moses were Amram and Jochebed. They were from the tribe of Levi called the Hebrews. So Moses knew that his people were suffering in the hands of the Egyptians. While he was shepherding his uncle Jethro’s sheep by the mountains God called him from the burning bush and commanded that he had to go back to Egypt and stand before Pharaoh and plead for the deliverance of his people. Though very reluctant in the beginning, he obliged to be the leader of the people of Israel and with the help of his brother Aaron he did all that the Lord had commanded him to do and delivered the people from Egypt and led them to the land of Canaan, the Promised Land, flowing with milk and honey.
Are you meek like Moses and obedient to God. Will you be willing to do the task of God, rather than engage yourself in activities that will gain a lot of money to live a worldly life. Because Moses was humble and meek before God he was exalted by God as a renown leader of the Israelites. God himself carried him away in his last days. If you will obey the voice of God He will lead you in the land of the living in spite of all the hurdles and trials and hardships you might have to face in your life. God will guide you, He will perform many miracles for your sake and bring deliverance to you and your children in case you are caught up in any kind of bondage. May be financial crisis, family problems that may rise up, as it rose in the family of Moses. God will grant you His perfect peace, and prosper you in all the work of your hands and you shall be successful . God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for teaching us to be zealous like Moses. Help us to overcome temptation and lead a life pleasing to you. Bless the works of our hands and prosper us.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of I Kings 10:23,24. “So king Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom. Now all the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom. Which God had put in his heart.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that King Solomon the son Of King David surpassed all other kings in riches and wisdom. So kings from all other nations wanted to visit him and hear of his wisdom. God made king Solomon to surpass all the kings of his times. And they all wondered at his wisdom. And he was the richest king among them. Why king Solomon was rich and knowledgeable was because his Father King David, who once was a shepherd boy , but later became the anointed king of Israel, had close relationship with God the Father. The Bible says, David became great since God was with him. Yes, David was a man near unto God’s own heart. Because David sought the Lord early in the morning. And had the habit of praying three times a day.
My Dear Brothers And Sisters, God loved Israel and made David the king to do justice and righteousness. God also blessed his son Solomon, with great wisdom and riches. At Gibeon the Lord appeared, to Solomon, in a dream, by night and God said, Ask !What shall I give you? So Solomon said to the Lord, “Your servant is in the midst of Your people, whom You have chosen, a great people too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart, to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil, For who is able to judge this great people of Yours.?”God was pleased with his request, since he did not ask for wealth or long life. God gave him wisdom, which no one else had before him or after him. So Solomon established his kingdom for the Lord God was with him.
My Dear Brothers And Sisters, God will bless you also with riches and wisdom, if your request of prayer pleases the Lord God. It should not be self oriented. It should be according to the will of God. For He says, “ And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do. That the Father may be glorified in the son.”Until now you have asked nothing, in My name. Ask and you will receive. That your joy may be full.” When we ask God according to His will He answers our request. A man cannot be blessed unless it comes from the Father in heaven. Unless God makes a man rich, he cannot become rich. Today you need to receive a God who gives you riches, and wisdom. When you accept this God as your Master and Lord of your life then you will receive all his blessings. Your future will be bright. You will secure a job to manage your life. You will prosper in every area of your life. Be it business, family life or the blessing of your children. God gives you wealth and riches that your soul may not lack anything of all that you desire. Whatever we possess may not be owing to our merits or because of our diligence, and industry, and our wise conduct, but because of the providence of God. For God is the judge, He puts down one and exalts the other. God Bless you, with riches and wisdom.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for telling us the greatness of King Solomon and all about his riches and wisdom. Lord give us also such wisdom, that we may walk pleasing unto God. Help us to make our request according to the will of God. Teach us to be like Solomon who was diligent in making his request to God.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of “Psalms 102:16, “For the Lord shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His Glory. He shall regard the prayer of the destitute. And shall not despise their prayer.”
From the above context we see that God approves the prayer of the destitute, and does not despise them. Today you are reading this message with many requests in your mind; will I be able to settle my children? Can I go abroad? When will flights start operating? Will my son also secure a good job overseas? Will I be able to settle my daughter soon? Such questions and many more, keep coming up in your mind often. There is sudden fear about your future. Many, whom you considered, will extend help to you, only disappointed you. But Jesus will never despise you. Neither will He neglect you like men folks. He is a Father to the fatherless and defender of the widows. He knows very well that you are dependent upon Him and that you do not have anyone besides Him. So He will acknowledge your request and perform a miracle for you. He will heal your disease. He will support you when you call upon His name. He will direct your steps. He will protect you and your children from your enemies; they may be your own relatives. Who take advantage of your helpless state and cause you pain. They may hurt you by their words. Don’t lose heart. God is near to help you.
Firstly God will build a house for the deprived and will set them free from their bondages. The Bible says, God sets the solitary in families. He releases the prisoners from the prison and redeems those in bondage, The Lord is the father of the fatherless, He is concerned about the widows, and He will bring justice to the widows. Some women will have husband but they will live like widow, Some children will have father or mother but they will live like orphans. This is what is meant to be fatherless. When the earthly father or husband fails to do their responsibility to their wives or their children then God Himself will come down in a marvellous manner and provide their needs. He becomes the Father to the fatherless and widows. We see this in our day to day life. This applies to all those who are suffering. The Lord will be a defender to the widows. He will open ways and means for your livelihood. He will open the windows of heaven and meet all your needs. When widows cry unto God He will hear their cry from heaven above and will not despise their prayer. He will answer them and solve their problems. He heard the prayer of both Ruth and Naomi and blessed them as they were widows.
I see in my spirit that many of you are residing in rented house. The landlord often asks you to vacate your house. Then it becomes too difficult for you to look out for a house, as per your budget. You struggle. To such people God says, “I will build a house for you.” David asked God to build a house for him. To provide a house of your own is a simple thing for God to do. Even people with much wealth may not be able to build a house. Unless God blesses them with a house, they cannot have one. So God has to permit you to build a house. God will not only provide a house for the desolate but also deliver them from the bondages in which they are caught up with. May be debts, bad habits, witchcraft, or some wrong relationship or some other issues, whatever it may be God is going to deliver all of you, who are reading this message from your bondages. So be cheerful in the Lord. Give Him room in your heart that He might be able to perform miracles in your life. For He will neither leave you nor forget you. God says, “Fear Not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”Hold on to His promise. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank You for your kindness towards widows and the fatherless. We thank you for building them a house and also delivering them all from their bondages. You remember us in our lowly state of life. So we thank You Lord. Help us also to consider You as our Head, of the family.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless you in the name of our Creator, Maker, and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of, “1 Kings 4:25, “And Judah and Israel dwelt safely each man under his vine and his fig tree from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon”.
From the above context we see that the nation of Israel and Judah lived peacefully under their own vine and fig trees which means that they were rich and prosperous as long as king Solomon ruled their kingdom. King Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal, twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallow deer, and fatted fowl for he had dominion over the entire region on this side of the river, and over all the kings on the other side of his kingdom, and he had peace on all sides round about him. And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen. And those officers provided victual for King Solomon, and for all that came unto King Solomon’s table; every man had his mouth full. They lacked nothing. Barley also and straw for the horses every man received according to his needs. They were at peace with all their neighbouring countries. God made king Solomon as the king of Israel, to speak words of comfort to the poor and broken hearted and to proclaim liberty to the captives. And to set free those who are in prison .
God says, in which ever family you remain, you shall live safely and securely, and comfortably. God says, My people shall live in peaceful habitation. When God lives in your heart, all your problems will be solved and all crooked things will disappear. He fills all the emptiness of your life. In case you lack anything in your life, physically, mentally, or in your ministry, God will change all the situation, and every one of you reading this message will live peacefully in your dwelling places. If the people of Judah and Israel could live so peacefully during the days of King Solomon, how much more peacefully can you live, when Jesus lives inside your heart. He gives you peace that passes all understanding. Changes will come. Your days of mourning will become days of dancing. Your sorrow will turn to joy. Your poverty will turn to prosperity. Your sickness will disappear and you shall be hale and healthy. You will see no more disaster in the future.
Be cheerful God has promised to bless you this year. You will lack no good thing. Your vats will be full and your barns will overflow with new wine. God will send forth His word and bring healing to all the wounded souls. He will comfort the sick and the downtrodden. To those who lack wisdom He will give wisdom without any partiality to all those who ask for it. God’s wisdom is incomparable and more glorious in nature than that of King Solomon, God will place that wisdom upon you and your descendants. All bondages will be broken apart, every snare laid to destroy you and your family will be uprooted. God will change the attitude of your enemies, and they will come in good terms with you. People who once were jealous of your prosperity will now turn their hearts towards you. You will be appreciated by all. You shall receive fame and praise. Just as king Solomon was at rest from all his enemies you will find rest from all corner. Within your family circle, at your work spot, in your business centre, among the people in your church, everywhere you go you shall experience the presence of God. So be cheerful. Just as the Lion of Judah was born to bring about a great change among the people, And to set free those who are in prison. And to console all those who cry in Zion. God will change all situations for the glory and well being of your life. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord teach us to humble ourselves before God. To praise and glorify His Holy name, like king Solomon. We thank you for the peaceful life you have granted to us and for meeting all our day to day needs in a miraculous way. Help us to comfort those who are weary and sick.
In Jesus Name We Pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 11:17, “By Faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son.”
We read in the Bible that Abraham had no children, for many long years. But God had promised that He would bless him with a child so he patiently believed by faith that God would bless him with a child. When he was hundred years old, God blessed him with a son, Isaac. But later when the boy was quite young, God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, this trial was given by God to Abraham, to offer up his son Isaac; which lays no foundation for a charge against God. For God’s will is the rule of justice and goodness, and whatever he requires is just and good. The secret will of God was not that Isaac should die, but a command was given to Abraham to offer him up, for the trial of his faith and love;
Abraham showed great readiness to do it; as soon as he had the command given to him, he travelled three days’ journey in order to complete the task that was set for him. He took the wood for the burnt offering, and laid it on his son; took fire, and a knife in his hand, with the one to burn the wood, with the other to slay his son; he built an altar, laid the wood in order on it; and bound his son, and laid him on that; and took the knife, and stretched forth his hand to slay him, and fully intended to do it, had he not been prevented: and all this he did by faith; he believed the equity, justice, and wisdom of the divine command; he was fully assured of the truth and faithfulness of God in his promises,
Abraham knew very well that God who had promised to give him a generation, and blessed him with Isaac in his old age is capable of blessing him in the future. He strongly believed that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead. For with God nothing is impossible and age is nothing to him. Abraham had great faith in God. He knew that God had a great plan for him because it was God who called Abraham. The Bible says, Abraham left Ur, in Mesopotamia, because God called him to form a new nation, in an undesignated land known as Canaan. Since God called Abraham with a purpose, he did what the Lord had commanded, without any hesitation. He willingly went to mount Moriah to sacrifice his son.
God told Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Moriah. Abraham was about to strike his son with the knife he had taken but just then a messenger from God interrupted him, saying, “ Abraham, Abraham, Do not lay your hand on the lad for now I know that You fear God.” He then saw a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. Thus we see the great faith of Abraham. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And being fully persuaded that, what God had promised, He was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
How is your faith in God? When problems come, when you have to go through trials and temptation does your faith waver? May God help you to be strong in faith, like Abraham. Ask God to increase your faith in Him. Believe that God who has called you is faithful. Believe that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, we thank You for Abraham who was called the father of faith. Through him, we understand how we need to have faith. Teach us to have adamant faith in God. Make us more like Abraham so that we may be able to face all obstacles that come our way. Strengthen our faith in God.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
