God strengthens the weak.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the weak. And to those who have no might, He increases strength.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, there may be many who are faint because of afflictions. Maybe they do not have immediate deliverance, or their prayers are not answered at once.  And their promises may not be fulfilled as they expected. To such people who are depressed and frustrated in life, God gives fresh supplies of spiritual strength. God strengthens their faith and enlarges  their views to behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living and confirms his blessings and promises of grace unto them. And to those who have no might, He increases strength.

Some people  have power, but not to a good extent. To such people, God gives fresh strength as the apostle says,” When I am weak, then I am strong.”They become weak due to their sinful nature, because of their iniquity. To such people God increases the spiritual strength. Sometimes God allows you to go through trials. Through which God wants you to learn, to trust and rely on Him completely for all your needs.  God will strengthen you when you are weak. He loves you and cares for you. Trust in Him for all your needs. One word of encouragement is enough to strengthen you,  while you pass through a period of trial.

Prophet Isaiah speaks with a special reference to those among God’s people whose faith and hope,  were very low, and God would strengthen and support them. Even youth who boast of their strength sometimes fail when God withdraws His support as in the case of Samson. But God promises to renew their strength and they shall grow stronger and soar high like the eagles.

God will enable you also to soar high with power and strength when you truly depend on Him. Increase your faith in Him and you shall experience a great change in your life. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for giving us power and increasing our strength.   Help us to rely on You completely for all our needs. Teach us Oh Lord to trust in you at all times. May we endure all our troubles patiently and receive spiritual strength from the Lord.  In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

The Great Faith

My   Dear Brothers     and sisters, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Mark 5:25-29, “ And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering”.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,   from the above passage we learn that,   two thousand years ago, during the days when Jesus lived on this Earth, He  went about doing many miracles. Jesus took pity at the multitude of people. Irrespective of caste or religion, Jesus performed supernatural miracles. People were astonished at the miracles Jesus performed. As a result His name spread across the nation. It was at this time, that a woman  who was suffering from an incurable problem knew that only if she met Jesus, she would be healed. She was longing for an opportunity to meet Jesus. The Bible says that she was suffering from the bleeding of blood for twelve years. She lost all her wealth on the treatment for her disease, yet the disease was not cured. She went through depression. It was at that time she heard the good news that Jesus was passing by her village.   She had faith that if only she could touch the hem of the garment of Jesus, she would be healed.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, With great faith  she followed the crowd, where Jesus was passing. There was a very huge crowd of people following Jesus. She somehow squeezed herself through the crowd. Even though she was unable to touch Jesus; she managed to touch the edge of his garment. At that moment, a power went out of Jesus and healed her immediately. Her joy knew no bounds.   She was filled with great relief.

My Dear  Brothers and Sisters,  , on that day, Jesus walked passed that street and the woman was healed. But today, as you read this passage, the healing power of Jesus is coming into your body right at this very  moment. Are you suffering from an incurable disease ? Are you worried that even after taking a lot of medication your disease is not cured? Do not be worried. Jesus is the great physician.  There is no disease that He cannot heal. The anointing of Jesus is enough to heal your disease. Believe every word that the Lord has spoken to you today and accept it. Receive your miracle today and be healed. God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. There are many people  suffering from various kinds of diseases and even the doctors have given up hopes. Father, I pray that You send forth Your anointing and heal their disease. Help them to believe on you and increase their faith.   Grant your mercy upon each one of them. May Your powerful words be released into their body and heal their disease. May they see Your glory through the healing that they receive. Lord I commit them into your hands.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

Help Comes from God.

My  Dear  Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus  Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today  is from the book of Psalms 121:2 “My help comes from the Lord. Who made heaven and earth.”

From the above context we learn that when we need God’s help, he will always help us. When we go through a crisis in our life, we usually look to others for help. But David says, “My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” We are in need of help that is powerful, efficient, constant, we need a very present help in trouble. The Bible says, God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble. What a mercy that we have it, in Our God. Our hope is in Jehovah for our help comes from him. Help is on the way and will not fail to reach us in due time. God who sends His blessings is never known to be late.

The creator is aware of every emergency, and situations that need His help. Therefore let us be very joyful in our infinite helper, who is willing to bow even the hills themselves to help you. We are bound to look beyond heaven and earth to Him who made them both, rather than put our trust upon the creatures of the earth. In this Psalm, the Psalmist directs and encourages us to repose ourselves and our confidence in God, and by faith to put ourselves under His protection, and commit ourselves to His care. David assures himself of help from God and therefore says, “I will lift up my eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.” The Psalmist encourages us to put our trust upon God as a God of power. David did so and found the benefit of it. Therefore we must fetch in help from God by faith in His promise, for God himself has undertaken to be our protector.

God is not only at your right side,   but He will keep the feet of his saints from being hurt. He will have an eye, upon them in their motions. He will never allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. He will prevent you from falling in sin. The sun shall not smite you with his heat by day nor the moon with her cold and moisture by night. He will keep  your feet from falling. He will keep His eye upon you in all the directions you go. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil. He will continue His care over you from this time forth and even from evermore. He will preserve you in his heavenly kingdom. Trust in Him for He will carry you through.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we praise you for rendering help to us. You are a divine God,  You made the heaven and the earth. Yet you are ready to help us when we call. Teach us not to trust on creatures but on the creator. May you be a present help in our trouble.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God disciplines us.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,  who is The Creator, Maker and ever unforgettable Lord. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of  Hebrews 12: 6,  “For whom the Lord loves He chastens”.

From the above passage we learn that the Lord disciplines those whom  He loves. Another word for chasten is discipline. Throughout the scripture, God portrays Himself as a Father. And all those who have received Jesus as Saviour are His children. Therefore He says, “My Son do not despise the Lord’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, as a father the son He delights in.”   Proper discipline is proof of love.

God tests the hearts and minds of the righteous.  When you go through trials in your life you need to draw close to God, repent of your sins and ask forgiveness from God. Then you will be blessed. For whom the Lord loves he disciplines. It means that God sends trials in order that we may correct ourselves and return to God. Ask God to forgive our wrongdoings and reconcile ourselves with God. Then He will pardon us and accept us as His children. Through His discipline, He shows that He has paternal care for us.

He does not treat us with neglect and unconcern. The very fact that He corrects us shows that He has toward us a  fathers feelings, and therefore exercises toward us a paternal care. To restrain and to govern a child to correct him when he errs, shows that there is a paternal concern,  for him and that he is not an outcast. And as there is in the life of every child of God something that deserves correction hence it is universally true, that whom the Lord loves He disciplines.

If you are going through a period of tribulation, remember that God disciplines those whom He loves. You might be going through struggles in life because of debts, loss in business,   shame and humiliation because of family disputes. God says, “I will break your yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds”. Enemies shall no more enslave you. Only if God breaks the yoke from your neck, you will not struggle any further. You will experience complete freedom. God loved Job very dearly and so He wanted to test his faith. He placed a yoke on Job and hence he suffered with great tribulation. But in the end, it was for the glory of God. Job did not do anything against the will of God and so God blessed Job in great measure.

My  Dear  Brothers and Sisters,  You will also be blessed if you remain in the Lord during the course of your testing period. God will break the yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds. Therefore do not be afraid. Nor be dismayed because God will save you from all your troubles. God will be with you to watch over you. When you put your trust in the Lord, the Lord will bring you out of all your troubles.  You will live in joy and peace. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank  You for this blessed day. I pray that you may deliver us from all our troubles. Remove the burden from our neck and restore peace within our walls. May we cling to you during the period of trials and receive a double portion of blessing. Thank you Lord, for   Your everlasting love and kindness. May Your glory shine in and through us. Help us to realize that we are disciplined because you love us.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

God preserves us.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Psalm 121:8 “The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.”

From the above context we come to understand that the Lord will take care of you no matter what you’re up to. From going out from your dwelling and returning to it. When we go out in the morning to labour and come home in the evening to rest Jehovah shall keep you, shall keep us. Our exits and our entrances are under one protection. “Jehovah shall keep.” This keeping is eternal. Continuing from this time forth even forevermore. Under the protection of such a promise we may go on without trembling and venture into battle, without dread. For no ne is as safe as those whom God protects. Jehovah will keep the door when it opens and closes and He will continue to do so, as long as time endures. Glory be unto the keeper of Israel , who neither sleeps nor slumbers.

Whenever Moses moved his camp in the wilderness while they were moving to the land of Canaan, he ensured that the presence of the Lord went before him. Unless and until he looked up to the Hill from where his help came he never moved forward. He said to the Jehovah, “If your presence does not go with us do not send us up(Exodus 33:15). Therefore since God was with him everything was favourable for him, wherever he went. The Red Sea opened before him and gave way for his people to pass through the sea on dry ground. Jordan gave way for Joshua to go through, the walls of Jericho fell before Joshua, as God was with them. So they were able to reach the desired haven Canaan. They entered into that good and large land flowing with milk and honey.

Today God is looking at each one of you and saying, that God desires that you’re going out and coming in should be safe. May be all these days, you had experienced accidents and troubles when you went out. You never got through in your interview when you were called for. Your search for a good proposal was a failure. Until yesterday you might have faced a lot of opposition. Your going out and your coming in might have been vain attempts. There was no gain but only loss in whatever you did. Even your medical report was a failure. You often wondered if you would come out of this disease. But after reading this message there is going to be a real change in your life. God is moving in a mighty way, through His Holy Spirit. He will bring success when you look to the Hill from where you help will come. Look at Him and be saved. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we are grateful to You because You sustain us. You preserve us in our going out and our coming in. You send Your angels to attend on us. Help us to look up to the Hill from where our help comes from. May we learn to long for your presence. For we cannot do anything without You. Teach us to rely on “You our Ebenezer” who is our Helper and Preserver.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
