CHILDREN OF GOD

Dearly Beloved, The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of, John 1:12, “But as many as received Him to them He gave the right to become the children of God to those who believe in His name.”
From the above context we come to understand that, God gave the right to become the children of God to all those who believe on His name. Though many accused Jesus, ridiculed and scorned Him, yet the name of Jesus is the most beautiful of all names, for there is no other name in heaven or on earth that has the power to seek and to save that which was lost. Trusting in the name of Jesus is accepting Him as the Son of God, Who came to earth to be our substitute for sin. It is in believing that Christ’s death, burial, and Resurrection procured our salvation.
Believing on His name is the beginning of an amazing, everlasting journey, which has given us the authority and privilege of being adopted into the family of God and being given the right to be called “children of God.” Not all however received Him when He came into the world. There are many even today who do not believe on His name, and so they do not have the authority to become children of God. There is only one way to be saved, “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” There is only one way to become a child of God, “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will become a child of God.” Therefore all who receive Him and believe in His name have the authority to become children of God.

Jesus came as a witness to testify about the Light, so that through Him everyone might believe. Because the Bible says, He came to His own and His own did not receive him. But to all who did receive Him who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. Hence we are the Sons and Daughters in Christ Jesus and He is our Father whereby we call Him Abba Father. Because we are His children, God has sent the Spirit, of his son, into our hearts, prompting us to call out Abba Father.
Isn’t it a great privilege for us to call the Everlasting Father, the God of the whole universe to acknowledge Him as our Father. He says, Heaven is My throne, and Earth is My footstool. He is a great and mighty God. And when we make this God our Father, then we become His children and if children then heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. The greatest blessing in this world is to receive Jesus as our father. Both material and spiritual blessings come from the Father of lights namely Jesus Himself. He is the fountain of blessing. So my dearly beloved make Him your Father. Strengthen your relationship with the Father God as your Father knows all your needs. The Bible says, If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask of Him? Or what man is there among you who if his son asks for bread will give him a stone. Or if he asks for a fish will give him a serpent.
If you receive Jesus as your Father, and if you are in need, then He will come down in a marvellous manner and deliver you from your problem. The Bible says, it shall come to pass, “That before they call, I will answer, And while they are still speaking I will hear.” This is the nature of our God. He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, Shall He not see? He is a God who will maintain the cause of the afflicted and do justice for the poor. All that you need to do is to believe in Jesus. Only to those who believe in His name have the right to be called His children. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. So in order to be saved you have to believe in the name of Jesus. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. To inherit the blessing of the Father you need to believe in Him. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord help us to realize that we have a Father in Heaven who cares for us. Who understands our needs and is ready to help us when we call on His name in truth and spirit. Give us the desire to believe on His name. Teach us to know that there is power in Your name and that the power of God will deliver us from all our problems.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

Tabernacle of your life

Dearly Beloved,  I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of  Exodus  25:8, “ Let them construct a sanctuary for  Me,  that I may dwell among them.”

God chose the people of Israel to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all people, and he wanted to be their King. He ordered a royal palace to be set up among them for himself, called a sanctuary, or holy place, or habitation. There he showed his presence among them. He said, “I will be their God and they shall be   My people and I will be in the midst of them. And because in the wilderness they dwelt in tents, this royal palace was ordered to be a  tabernacle, that it might move with them. The people were to provide  Moses  all the necessary materials for the construction of the Tabernacle,   by their own free will.  Whatever they gave, they must give it cheerfully, not grudgingly, for God loves a cheerful giver, God wanted to live always,  in the midst of the Children of Israel. And so God wanted the Tabernacle to be built in the midst of the people  to facilitate the relationship between  Yahweh   and His children, where every person can go to elevate himself or herself spiritually.

God tells Moses his intention in general, that the children of Israel should build him a sanctuary, for he wanted to dwell among them.  For , though there were altars and groves used for religious worship before this, yet there never was any house, or temple, built for sacred uses in any nation before this tabernacle was erected by Moses.  As their King, God  had already given them laws for the government, and their dealings one with another, with some general rules for religious worship, also .

The tabernacle  contains an inner sanctuary, the Holy of Holies.  This sanctuarycontained the Ark of the Covenant, with its cherubim-covered mercy seat. The people needed to learn that it was Yahweh who was camping with them. As the Israelites marched in the wilderness, the Levites   would  disassemble the Tabernacle, and, the ark would be  carried by the priests,  on two poles and   would lead them as they went, with the glory cloud hovering over them. The people of God were to realize that they were pilgrims here and when God said move, they needed to move forward.  Thus Yahweh went before them through the wilderness, leading them  to  the   land of Canaan,  a land flowing with milk and honey.

Here the Tabernacle represents the God of Israel Himself. He chose the nation Israel for His own purpose. He says, “ The people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.   They are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that   they  should show forth the praises of him who hath called   them   out of darkness into his marvellous light.”   God says, “’ I will give them a heart, to know, that I am the Lord,  and they shall be My people. And I will be their God. for they shall return to Me with their whole heart. ”God expects each one of you reading this message to return to Him with your whole heart. He knows your pain , your agony and the problems that you go through especially during this quarantine period. Some of you have lost your jobs,   some have lost your loved ones. You seem to be grief stricken. But with God you can restore all that you have lost in life. He will mend your ways and straighten your crooked paths.

God will make way for you where there seems no way. For He will go before you, and break in pieces the gates of bronze, and cut the bars of Iron. God will open rivers, in desolate heights andfountains in the midst of the valleys.  He will  make the wilderness a pool of water.   And the dry land springs of water.  He will direct all your ways. So He wants to be present in the midst of you. Will you allow this God to reign in your heart.?  He says, All these days, you have asked nothing, in My name. Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full. Why don’t you ask God to come into your heart? Because when God comes inside  of you,  there will be a great transformation, a revival in your life. He will change your sorrow and into joy. He will   cause your mourning into dancing. Make God the Tabernacle of your life. And experience real joy in your life. He is a God of Promise He will neither forget you nor forsake you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank  You   for being  in  the  midst of us. Help us to see God seated in all His glory   in the Tabernacle. Teach us to give unto the Lord freely without grudgingly. Help us to receive His abundant blessings.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Fullness of Blessing

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of,  2 Kings 4:6  “Now it came to pass when the vessels were full that she said, to her son, “Bring me another vessel.“And he said, to her there is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we read about the incident of a widow who was the wife of a prophet. The Prophet  had left behind a huge debt and she had to pay back  a large sum of money. The creditors  often  troubled   her  and threatened her that he  would take away her sons if she failed to pay back the dues.  She was rather scared of them and she did not wish to part her two sons from her.  She was  going through a painful trouble. So she ran to the prophet Elisha and cried out to him for help. So Elisha  said to her, “What do  you have in the house? The woman replied that she had nothing   other  than a jar of oil with her.  Then he said to her “ Go borrow  vessels from everywhere. From all your neighbours-empty vessels, do not gather just a few.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Prophet Elisha told her that once she collected all the vessels, she should shut the door behind her and her sons, then pour it into all the vessels, and set aside the full ones. Now it came to pass  when the vessels were full that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”  “And he said, to her there is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. ’ The oil stopped pouring out until all the vessels in the village had been filled with oil. Then she went and told the man of God that she had filled all the vessels that she had borrowed. And he said, “Now go and sell the oil and pay your debt. And you and your sons live on the rest.” Just as she was directed she sold the oil and paid the debts. Thus she saved her two sons  from  the  creditors cruel hands. She not only cleared the debts but also provided for her sons and their future.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,  God is going to bless you with such kind of blessing.  God is going to bless you with overflowing blessing. She approached the  man of God when she was in a poor state of life.   God solved the problem of the widow. And made her a prosperous woman.  In the same way God will solve all your problems if you approach God in a humble manner.  Nothing is too hard for the Lord to do. You too like the widow may be facing financial crisis. You may have to pay back your creditor huge sum of money.   Or   maybe  you are in a tight corner situation  because of some misunderstanding with your spouse. Or  maybe  you are going through a tough period in your work spot because of  your boss.  Whatever situation you may be going through God is able to deliver you,  and set you free. God wants to bring an end to all your problems. He will perform a miracle for you.  He spoke and it was done .He commanded  and it stood fast. Halleluiah.!  Our  God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all  that you  ask or think or pray. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you for helping the widow clear off her debts and provide for the future of her sons.  Help us also to pay off our debts and live in peace and harmony. Give us the strength to overcome all problems that crop up in our life. Bring an end to all our problems and help us see better days in life.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God will bless the works of your hands.

My  Dear  Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus  Christ our Lord.  The blessed word  that God has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book of Psalms 128:2, “When you eat the labour of your hands, You shall be happy  and it shall be well with you.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, From the above context we come to know that this is a Psalm for families.  In that we are  taught that the prosperity of our families depends, upon the blessings of God. We learn from this Psalm that the only way to obtain that blessing that  will make our families comfortable, is to live in the fear of God,  and in obedience to Him. We must sing this Psalm in the firm belief of the truth that religion and piety are the best friends to outward prosperity. It is again and again laid down in truth and that those who are truly holy are truly happy. Blessed is everyone that fears the Lord whether he be high or low, rich or poor, in the world. If you fear Him and walk in His ways, all shall be well with you.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, If you fear Him and walk in His ways, all shall be well with you. By the Blessing of God, the Godly shall get an honest livelihood. To do their work, with quietness they shall work and eat their own food. They shall enjoy what they earn. They that fear the Lord, and walk in His ways, are the only happy persons, whatever   their station in life  may be. They shall have abundant   comfort in their family relations. And they shall have all the good things God has promised .

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, The Bible says, that King Solomon found,      that the only beneficial and appropriate course of action for people is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all their hard work on earth. During the few days, of their life which God has given them,  for this is their reward. To everyman  whom God has given wealth and possessions, He has also given him, the ability to eat, from them, to receive his reward and to find enjoyment, in his toil for these things are the gift of God.  Man does not think  much about the fleeting days, of his   life, because God keeps him preoccupied with the joy he derives from his activity. May  the Lord  enable   you to enjoy the fruit of your labour.  God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for making us know that those who fear the Lord will be blessed. Teach us to fear the Lord.  And walk in His ways, in order to live an honest   livelihood. Help us to walk in the fear of the  Lord, and receive the blessings of the Lord. May we see our children’s children and maintain friendly relationship within our family.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Free from Captivity

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Psalms 12:5, “For The Oppression of the poor for the sighing of the needy, Now I Will Arise says, the Lord. I will set him in the safety for which he yearns. ”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that God will protect the poor from those who oppress them. The word “poor” does not refer to a person who does not have money because a person may have money but might lack something else. Anyone who lacks something is considered to be poor. God takes note of all your problems that you go through. Only when a person is steeped in problems he goes through frustration. Such a person needs to be set free from his captivity.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, The phrase, “For the oppression of the poor,” refers to   the tribulations which the Israelites suffered while they were captives in Babylon. The Lord represents himself, as looking on and seeing their affliction and hearing their cry. He comes forward to help them. God says, I alone delivered them into the hands of their enemies because of their transgression. But I alone can and will deliver them from the hands of their enemies. And the manner of their deliverance shall show the power and influence of their God.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God does not want the oppressed to return ashamed. He says, let not the enemy rejoice when you   go through trials or when you fall. For God says, “I will arise when you sit in darkness I shall be a light to you.” We should not rob the poor, because he is poor. And we should not oppress the afflicted. For the Lord will plead   their cause and plunder the soul of those who plunder them. God himself grieved for the misery of Israel,  and delivered them from the Egyptians who oppressed them with cruel affliction.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God always, saves the poor, from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. And He that oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker. Therefore we should not inflict the poor. In case you have been oppressed by your boss or someone who is in authority over you then God will come to rescue, you as you are precious in his sight. All you have to do is to trust in the Living God. Cast all your burdens and problems upon Him and He will set you free from your bondage.  He will protect you from those who want to destroy you. He will keep you as the apple of His eye. He will not leave you in the hands of the enemy instead he will guard you and protect you with His wings of protection. God says that He will set you in safety for which you yearn for.  So do not worry. He performs what is appointed for you and many such things are with Him.

Prayer: Our loving   heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for   telling us how we need to treat or consider  the poor. Make us to understand the problems of the poor and treat them with honour and respect. Never to underestimate them, or inflict them with cruelty but to be merciful to them.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
