Be of good cheer

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,  I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Luke 8:47 , Jesus said, “Daughter, be of good cheer, your faith has made you well.” “Go in peace.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,   From the above context we understand that Jesus was pleased to see the faith of the woman and therefore He said, to the woman “Your faith has made you well. ”Jesus   was on His way to the house of Jairus. He was a ruler of the synagogue.  He   came there and fell down at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ, and begged him to heal his daughter who was dying. She was just twelve years of age and  was dying. So Jesus was rushing towards his house.  But on the way a large crowd gathered around Him. The woman who was suffering from flow of blood, hearing that Jesus was passing through her town,    decided to meet Jesus.   In the midst of such a crowd she came from behind and touched the border of his garment, and immediately the flow of blood stopped. What makes the woman’s   healing   unique is that she was healed    because of her faith. She thought no one had noticed her. But Jesus turned around and said “Somebody   touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, when the woman came to know that she was not hidden she came trembling and fell down at the feet of Jesus. She declared to him in the   presence of all the people, the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. She was suffering for almost twelve long years. And she had spent a lot of money on physician but could not be healed. But the moment she came to meet Jesus a miracle happened in her life.  She had simple faith that if she meets Jesus the healer, she would be healed of her disease.  So Jesus, on seeing her faith said, “Your faith has made you whole,   Go in Peace.”’

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Let us not complain of a crowd or a throng as long as we are in the way of our duty and doing good. Because during such times   many a poor soul gets healed, and helped and saved by Christ that might be hidden in a crowd and nobody notices it.  This woman came trembling, yet her faith saved her. There may be trembling yet there is saving faith. Jesus spoke words of comfort to Jairus, saying “Fear not, Just Believe.”And your daughter shall be made whole.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, Today God has given you an opportunity to receive the healing touch of Jesus. Come and receive your blessing.  Be strong when you go through serious illness or through some kind of affliction.  Look up to Him in faith. Some experience affliction for a period of time assigned by God himself. Job was one such person. He was one who feared God, He was a   blameless man and upright. Yet   God permitted him to suffer that he might come forth as refined gold. You too might be going through such affliction in your life. Be strong in the Lord, Cast away all your fears. Do not be discouraged.  Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord help us to have faith in God. Not to trust in our money or any things of this world. Because it will not bring healing or forgive our sins. May we completely rely in God for all our needs.  Make us to understand that God heals all our diseases if we approach Him with simple faith.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

DIVINE PROTECTION

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Genesis 28:15, “ I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken.”

From the above context we see that Jacob was on his way to his uncle’s place in Padan Aram. Jacob was going to a distant place from his father’s house.  Jacob did not know actually what might happen to him in his uncle, Laban’s house. But God foresaw    the hardships   he would meet, in his uncle’s service, and therefore God promised to preserve him in all places where he goes. God gives His people grace and protects them from the dangers that could befall them. God also promised to bring him back again to his father’s land. Jacob seemed to be forsaken by all his dear ones, but God gives him this assurance. “I will not leave thee.”God loved Jacob much. Jacob simply feared and trusted in God, because he was left all alone.  So he looked to God, for his safety. Being alone he laid down in the open air with his head upon a stone.

It was at this time that  the Lord  was  communicating with Jacob in a dream, as he rested his head on a rock in the wilderness and was sleeping.  In the dream, Jacob saw   God standing at the top of a ladder-like structure reaching from earth to heaven. Now the Lord  promised   Jacob  that,   He would be with  him in this journey to his uncles place to   work under him and later He would  take him,   to  the land of Canaan, his father’s place.  The Lord promises to personally be with Jacob wherever he goes, He also promises to bring Jacob back to the land of promise. Travelling from his home to a strange place to begin a new stage of his life, and seemingly alone, it would have been a life of fear.  But the Lord promises never to leave him until he fulfils all his promises to him.

God’s time to visit his people to comfort them is when they are in most destitute situation. He saw a ladder which reached from earth to heaven, the angels going up and coming down. The Ladder serves to bring Jacob into communication with God. The Lord stood above the ladder. And Jacob who was at His mercy stood beneath. The Ladder represents the providence of God.  God promises to Jacob personally to be with him, to protect him, and to  bring him back in safety, to his father’s place.

Are you going through a difficult situation  like Jacob? Have you been deserted by your dear ones?    Have your people come against you. Well God assures you that   He will be with you, keep you in all the places, where you go, and He will bring you back safely. He will not leave you until He has accomplished that which He has spoken to you. God promises to never leave you  or forsake you. Trust in God , will help you  to overcome your fearfulness about your  future   Are   you in search of a good job ?  Are   you  deeply in sorrow,   because of the loss of your business, or because  of  huge debts, or maybe you are dejected since you are unsettled in life   or you aren’t blessed with a gift of a child.

Whatever may be your problem, God assures you that He will be with you.  And when we  approach  Him  by faith, and in prayer, He  answers  our prayers, we receive all blessings of providence and grace from Him.   He is a God who keeps his promise. Jacob    went to his uncle’s place   with  an empty hand and a   staff.  But he became rich   with two companies. Then God brought him back to Canaan ( his father’s place )after he   became very rich.  In the same   way God will be with you,   guide you and lead you and help you to be successful in life. Until he  fulfils his promise   in your life  He will neither leave you nor forsake you. God bless you.

Prayer:   Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.   Lord we thank you for your providence.  We  thank  you  for   communicating  with  Jacob  while  he  was all  alone. Do   speak to us also when we are in adverse situation.   We are thankful because You preserve us wherever we go. Our times are in your hand. Help us to submit ourselves to you, and depend upon you for all our needs.

  In Jesus name we pray.

 Amen.

LOVE OF GOD

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Romans 8:38,39  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

From the above context we learn from the writings of Apostle Paul , all about  an amazing summary of what God has done for us. He started with how sin had separated us from God.  He shows us that by our works we could never obtain a right standing with God. Next he illustrates how God provided a way apart from the law in which we can be justified by faith. And this has been Gods plan for salvation.   Then he tells us that since we have been justified in this way we have peace with God. He reveals that the gift of His grace was much more than the trespass ever committed.  Paul warns us about living according to the flesh, and teaches us how to live according to the spirit so that we will not fulfil the desires of the flesh.

Paul’s revelation of God’s love was so amazing. The inexpressible depth of God’s love towards condemned   mankind was demonstrated when God sent His only son to be our Saviour, who took the punishment for our sin on the cross. This was a plan that was conceived in the heart of God.  It was   a satanic power that has enslaved humanity since Adam’s fall – but all who trust in God, for salvation will be saved.

The Bible says,   all are separated from God by sin. Everyone born of a woman is under the sentence of death.  However, Paul then contrasts the sin of man, with the goodness of God. Paul finally reaches his joyful conclusion with the most astonishing promise and wonderful truth that is given to all who believe,  that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord,  nothing visible or invisible, nothing in the physical realm or the spiritual sphere, nothing in the heavens above, the earth beneath, or in the waters under the earth can separate us from God’s gracious and everlasting love.  Nothing past or present or future can separate us from the love of God, Lord. Nothing, whether it is something good or something evil, no wicked scheme of satan, and no mean manipulations of man can disconnect us from our Redeemer. Nothing can snatch us out of our Father’s hand and nothing can remove us from the nail-pierced hands of our Saviour, Who holds us securely, through time and into eternity.

Paul continues to say that, Not even those that are redeemed can separate themselves from His loving care, because Jesus Christ, Himself   has secured our salvation forever, through His sacrifice on the cross. Salvation is the work of God in us.

Having read this message about the unfailing love of God will you make up your mind to love and serve God as Paul the Apostle? Paul  was once persecuting the Christians. He was known as Saul before his conversion. He was a Jewish Rabbi.  He was once on his way to Damascus, to arrest Christians,  but he experiences the divine presence of God. A  light from Heaven,  struck him and he became blind. He also heard a voice from heaven saying, “ Saul, Saul why do you persecute Me?”Out Of his confusion he calls back, “’ Who are you Lord?’’The Lord replied unto him saying, “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.” The Lord sent, Ananias, a devout servant of God to attend  to Saul.  He heals him–sight is regained as something like scales falls from Saul’s eyes.  Ananias comforts Saul, addressing him as a brother.  He baptizes Saul, into the body of Christ. Finally Saul repents of his wrong doings against God; This Saul became Paul, who wrote several Epistles /books, in the Bible.

Give your heart to Jesus like Paul, and be blessed. He will open new ways and means of living for you. He will expand your business, your education. He will place you in the best education centre and help you to be successful in life. You can do all things well through the strength of Jesus. God cares for you. He invites you to be His child. Accept Him and you shall receive a double fold blessing. Your barns will be filled. He will open the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, and bless you abundantly. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You for Your unfailing love. And for Apostle Paul who promises that nothing shall separate us from the love of God. Help us to be firm in our faith and steadfast in our love. May God expand our business and the borders of our territory, with joy peace and harmony.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

MY REDEEMER LIVES

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word  that  God  has  given  for  you  today  is  from the book of  Job :14:14, If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

From the above context we find that Job stopped speaking, to his friends and goes on to speak to God. He reminds himself of his own misery, and pleads it with God for some mitigation of his miseries. Job utters the above words when he was in the peak of his misery. This shows that when calamity strikes one’s life, it destroys all his hopes. Job was left in the dark to face the agony of life. Job was once a wealthy man, he was the greatest of all the people of the East. Since he was a rich man, he was respected by all.  Later he was in a fallen state and he was disregarded and disrespected by his neighbours, friends and servants too. Yet Job says, “God will not cast away the blameless.  Job had adamant faith in God”. Therefore he had a ray of hope.

Job  knew that God will be merciful to him and consider his cause. He was willing to wait on   the Lord. He believed   that God does great things and unsearchable, marvellous things without number. He knew that if he was pure and upright God would arise and do marvellous things for him as in the days of his prosperity. He was certain that God would surely bless the latter part of his life.  So he waited patiently for the appointed time, as to when his affliction would come to end.  Even though   he suffered miserably he had great faith in God. He believed that his hope will not be lost. He knew that good days would dawn in his life that’s why he says, “Though He slay me yet  I will trust in Him. He goes on to say, “ I know that My Redeemer lives.” Job knows that God does not withdraw his eyes from the righteous. God honoured his faith and therefore the Bible says, “God blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning.” And Job therefore says, Lord, you can do everything, and no purpose of yours can be withheld from you.

Are you struggling like Job, in your life ? Have you grown very frustrated in your life  ? You might be going through a court case or a divorce case  or a serious problem in your life.  You too like Job must be thinking as to when these problems would come to an end. Wait on the Lord He will surely deliver you   from your problem by His righteous right hand. Your problems will soon come to an end. Surely there is a hereafter. And your hope will not be cut off. You shall see no more disaster. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our   loving   heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Help us to have adamant faith like Job. Teach us to endure patiently the problems that we go through. Remove the yoke of burden thrust upon our shoulder   and relieve us from all grief and pain. Help us to see better days in our life.

 In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

The Lord will help you.

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Isaiah 50: 7, “For the Lord God will help me. Therefore I will not be disgraced. Therefore I have set my face like a flint.  And I know that I will not be ashamed.”

God did as He promised to do, for His son Jesus.   For He is the true God, and has all divine perfections in Him; He is equal to his Father in power, as well as in glory.  Jesus as man, expresses His strong faith and confidence in God.  But he was made strong by God the Father. Even Jesus needed help and assistance while he was on this earth from God the Father. Hence He boldly says, therefore I shall  not be put to shame. He   further says,  I  have  set my face like a flint  or as a  strong  stone, And this made Him all the more  hardened against all opposition; resolute and undaunted; constant and unmoved by the words and blows of men; He was not dismayed at his enemies, though they came to him as a thief, with swords and staves; to get hold of him to be crucified.  So He says, “And I know that I shall not be ashamed,  neither of his ministry, nor of his miracles,  nor of his obedience, which was pure, and perfect, and pleasing to God; nor of his sufferings, which were for the sake of his people;  he was not frustrated nor disappointed of his end.

From the above context we understand that our God will not put His children to shame. God will help you and so you will not be disgraced, before other people. God made a beautiful garden called garden of Eden and put Adam into it. There were all kinds of plants, herbs, and creepers. There were many animals and birds both male and female. But God found that  Adam was alone. So He thought that man should not be alone. Therefore he took a rib from out of his body while he was fast asleep and created a perfect match for him and called her Eve. He gave her to Adam to be his wife. God stood as a strong support in the garden for them.  He visited them at noon time and  spoke to them.

Just as God, stood as a strong support for both Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, He has come down in a marvellous manner to stand as a support to you and your children. For God is mindful and cares for you.  He wants to help you in your life so that you will not be put to shame.  Today you are reading this message hoping that God will help you and will never put you to shame.  Doctors might have told you, “ Look there is no chance for you to give birth to a child.”They might have even told you to adopt a child or even suggested many other methods. But Our Lord will perform supernatural miracles for you.  Such is the nature and greatness of our God.

We read in the Bible  about   Hannah who  faced  much sorrow on that day. Everyone looked at her in disgrace.   But God thought that she had suffered enough and did not wish that she should be put to shame any further so he descended upon her and blessed her with a male child called  Samuel, who later became the Prophet of Israel. Thus God honoured the  faith of  Hannah and made her a happy mother. God who performed a miracle for Hannah and made her a home maker, will also perform a miracle to you in your life.  Hereafter God will stand in favour of you and support you in such a way, that you shall never be put to shame. He is your refuge and strength, A very present help in times of trouble.  May You learn to trust in the Lord who is your help and your shield.  May your heart be steadfast trusting in the Lord. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for standing with us as a strong support and for helping us in times of trouble. Lord we uphold Your name for You will never put us to shame. May we rely on You and not grow weary. Teach us to put our trust on You.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
