My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is The Creator, Maker and ever unforgettable Lord. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews 12: 6, “For whom the Lord loves He chastens”.
From the above passage we learn that the Lord disciplines those whom He loves. Another word for chasten is discipline. Throughout the scripture, God portrays Himself as a Father. And all those who have received Jesus as Saviour are His children. Therefore He says, “My Son do not despise the Lord’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, as a father the son He delights in.” Proper discipline is proof of love.
God tests the hearts and minds of the righteous. When you go through trials in your life you need to draw close to God, repent of your sins and ask forgiveness from God. Then you will be blessed. For whom the Lord loves he disciplines. It means that God sends trials in order that we may correct ourselves and return to God. Ask God to forgive our wrongdoings and reconcile ourselves with God. Then He will pardon us and accept us as His children. Through His discipline, He shows that He has paternal care for us.
He does not treat us with neglect and unconcern. The very fact that He corrects us shows that He has toward us a fathers feelings, and therefore exercises toward us a paternal care. To restrain and to govern a child to correct him when he errs, shows that there is a paternal concern, for him and that he is not an outcast. And as there is in the life of every child of God something that deserves correction hence it is universally true, that whom the Lord loves He disciplines.
If you are going through a period of tribulation, remember that God disciplines those whom He loves. You might be going through struggles in life because of debts, loss in business, shame and humiliation because of family disputes. God says, “I will break your yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds”. Enemies shall no more enslave you. Only if God breaks the yoke from your neck, you will not struggle any further. You will experience complete freedom. God loved Job very dearly and so He wanted to test his faith. He placed a yoke on Job and hence he suffered with great tribulation. But in the end, it was for the glory of God. Job did not do anything against the will of God and so God blessed Job in great measure.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, You will also be blessed if you remain in the Lord during the course of your testing period. God will break the yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds. Therefore do not be afraid. Nor be dismayed because God will save you from all your troubles. God will be with you to watch over you. When you put your trust in the Lord, the Lord will bring you out of all your troubles. You will live in joy and peace. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I pray that you may deliver us from all our troubles. Remove the burden from our neck and restore peace within our walls. May we cling to you during the period of trials and receive a double portion of blessing. Thank you Lord, for Your everlasting love and kindness. May Your glory shine in and through us. Help us to realize that we are disciplined because you love us.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Psalm 121:8 “The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.”
From the above context we come to understand that the Lord will take care of you no matter what you’re up to. From going out from your dwelling and returning to it. When we go out in the morning to labour and come home in the evening to rest Jehovah shall keep you, shall keep us. Our exits and our entrances are under one protection. “Jehovah shall keep.” This keeping is eternal. Continuing from this time forth even forevermore. Under the protection of such a promise we may go on without trembling and venture into battle, without dread. For no ne is as safe as those whom God protects. Jehovah will keep the door when it opens and closes and He will continue to do so, as long as time endures. Glory be unto the keeper of Israel , who neither sleeps nor slumbers.
Whenever Moses moved his camp in the wilderness while they were moving to the land of Canaan, he ensured that the presence of the Lord went before him. Unless and until he looked up to the Hill from where his help came he never moved forward. He said to the Jehovah, “If your presence does not go with us do not send us up(Exodus 33:15). Therefore since God was with him everything was favourable for him, wherever he went. The Red Sea opened before him and gave way for his people to pass through the sea on dry ground. Jordan gave way for Joshua to go through, the walls of Jericho fell before Joshua, as God was with them. So they were able to reach the desired haven Canaan. They entered into that good and large land flowing with milk and honey.
Today God is looking at each one of you and saying, that God desires that you’re going out and coming in should be safe. May be all these days, you had experienced accidents and troubles when you went out. You never got through in your interview when you were called for. Your search for a good proposal was a failure. Until yesterday you might have faced a lot of opposition. Your going out and your coming in might have been vain attempts. There was no gain but only loss in whatever you did. Even your medical report was a failure. You often wondered if you would come out of this disease. But after reading this message there is going to be a real change in your life. God is moving in a mighty way, through His Holy Spirit. He will bring success when you look to the Hill from where you help will come. Look at Him and be saved. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we are grateful to You because You sustain us. You preserve us in our going out and our coming in. You send Your angels to attend on us. Help us to look up to the Hill from where our help comes from. May we learn to long for your presence. For we cannot do anything without You. Teach us to rely on “You our Ebenezer” who is our Helper and Preserver.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, on behalf of God’s Love Ministries and on behalf of my family I wish you and the members of your family, A HAPPY & BLESSED EASTER. May the Lord be with you and bless you.
On this good day as we celebrate the festival of Resurrection, let us be assured that whatever good things He has promised to do for us, He will definitely do it for us by the power of His resurrection.
The Bible says, “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken, to the house of Israel. All came to pass.”
We read in the Bible in John 2:18-22, “ The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.
Only after all the words of the Bible scholars, had been fulfilled regarding the birth, growth, sufferings on the cross, and His resurrection that Jesus said it is finished and gave up the ghost. Just as he said, he rose again alive on the third day.
Yes my dearly beloved, Our Lord Jesus Christ is true in His words. His word has power. The Bible says, In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the Word was God.
My dearly beloved, be assured of His promises in your life. Whatever He has promised to do for you, He will do it. Therefore the Lord of peace is encouraging you to be patient and be at peace, regarding your expectations.
In the Bible we read about the incident, wedding in Cana of Galilee. When the wine got over in the wedding, Mother Mary informs about it to Jesus. He told her, “My hour has not yet come.”But when the right time came, Jesus Himself asked the servants to fill the empty jars with plain water. They obeyed him and filled the jars to the brim, therefore, when He asked them to serve it to the Master of the house, the water turned into tasty wine. The Lord performed a miracle before the Master could be put to shame because of the deficit of wine at the wedding. This God who performed a miracle just in time will do what he has said at the right moment in your life too. God is looking at you today and is saying “I will do what I have said.”
Similarly God blessed Joseph at His appointed time. God gave a dream to Joseph when he was seventeen years of age. He was greatly honored in the dream. But he experienced a lot of unpleasant things in his life after he had the dream. Yet he never lost hope in God. He was honest before God. He remained very patient for the Lord to perform a miracle in his life. Just as God had promised he made him as the Governor of Egypt and even brought his father and his brothers under his feet for shelter.
My dearly beloved, remember on this day of Resurrection. Our Lord Jesus Christ is alive . He will do what he has promised in our lives. Wait patiently for the appointed time. What the Lord has promised on this festive season of the Lord’s Resurrection will definitely happen in your life.
Prayer.
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for having died for us on the cross of Calvary and having been buried. You rose again alive on the third day. And You have given us the assurance of eternal life. Help us to be patient to receive the gift which you have bestowed upon us. Teach us longsuffering and to wait at Your feet without murmuring until we get what is appointed to us, like Joseph .
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Job 1:21 says, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord”. We see in the life of Job, he lost everything that he owned. He faced severe problems in his life. Every person faces problems. Some problems come from outside the family and some come from within the family. Problems might emerge from the spouse, children or sometimes through in-laws. But God is faithful and He will not test you more than what you can bear. Even if you are tested, God will provide a way of escape out of it. God is giving you this assurance. You might be facing some major problem in your business. There are problems almost every day in life. You might be wondering as to when all those problems will come to an end. But God is greater than all our problems. He has conquered death itself
There came an end to Jobs problems. After his problems came to an end he received a double portion of blessing in his life. Job was confident that after all his sufferings of shame and distress, loss and affliction there will surely be an end to all his sufferings. Disaster struck his life like a thunder one after another. The death of his ten children was the greatest tragedy in his life. He was grief stricken. Today, like Job, you may think that you need to know when all your problems will come to an end. We must hope in God that He will not allow us to suffer more than what we can bear. We need to hope in the Lord and accept Gods plan in our life.
Genesis 32:22-31 says, “Jacob was left alone and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Jacob said “I will not go until You bless me.” You cannot go through another period of trial in your life. Trials may come because of your family members, in-laws relatives, neighbours, work spot or from any other source. To such people God says in Proverbs 23:18 “Surely there is a hereafter and your hope will not be lost.” The Lord encourages you to be strong and of good courage and to move on in your life by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we pray that You may grant Your children the needed strength to bear their problems. Help them to face the challenges boldly in their lives and to always remember that the Lord is in control of all their problems. We know that you have conquered all our battles on the cross. Help us to remember that we are victors and that we have a hope in you In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Song of Solomon 5:10-16. He is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy and black as a raven. His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely.
He is the Rose of Sharon, And the Lily of the valley. This is the beauty of our Lord Jesus Christ as described in the Bible. Such a beautiful Saviour hung on the cross for you and me. The Bible says, after crucifixion there was no beauty in Him that we should desire. He had lost all charm and beauty while He was hanging on the cross. With a crown of thorns upon His head, and His body bleeding. When the soldier pierced his flesh, water and blood gushed out of His body. Flesh from his body was torn when the Roman soldiers whipped him lashing Him with nails like hooks that tore his flesh from his body. His hands were struck with scars and wounds and there was blood all over His body. His beautiful feet that walked on the shores of Galilee and walked over the hills and lawns along with a huge multitude was now hanging on the cross. His feet nailed to the cross that He was made to carry along the road to Calvary called Golgotha
He said, “It is finished” and gave up the ghost. His mother was there to witness his death on the cross along with other ladies who had obtained many good things from the Lord. She who had borne a handsome and beautiful son and had spent several years growing him up is now bereaved by the cruel death of her son on the cross. She gazed helplessly at the bleeding son left alone to suffer. How much she must have been tormented by His death. Was it for this she bore him? Even His Heavenly Father had forsaken Him, to hang on the cross between the heaven and the earth. She couldn’t bear to see the marred face of her beloved son. Where did his beauty and charm disappear?
All the women who were with Him while He went about preaching and performing miracles wept bitterly at his shabby face. They couldn’t bear to see Him on the cross anymore. The Bible says He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him. But why did Jesus die such a death on the cross? It was to save you and me from the wrath of God and eternal damnation. You need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that He died for you on the cross and that He has paid the penalty for your sin. He has purchased you by His precious blood, in order that He may save you from the mouth of the grave. Maybe until today you had not known the importance of the death of Jesus But after reading this valuable message about the Cross, I invite you to acknowledge this Jesus as the saviour of your life. Believe and be saved. God Bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we are thankful to You for having shed your precious blood for us on the cross of Calvary. You have borne all our sins upon Yourself and forgiven us. Thank You Lord for being bruised for our iniquities and wounded for our transgression. Help us to believe that You died for us to be saved. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
