Ask For Wisdom

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally, and without reproach.”

From the above context, we realize that God gives wisdom to all those who ask. When you ask God for wisdom, it shall be given unto you. Learn to ask and receive from God, whatever you need. He will meet all your needs. It has been said that the knowledge of ignorance is the beginning of wisdom and recognising our lack of wisdom is a prudent step to real understanding. But the Bible says, that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and that knowledge of the Holy is understanding.

Life is full of pitfalls and snares and it is comforting to know that no matter what trials we may be called upon to face, we can ask the Lord for godly insight and better understanding, and He has promised to give all that is needed for the betterment of our life. In this passage, James is particularly referencing the wisdom we need when we are surrounded by various difficulties and dangers we encounter in our everyday lives. There are times when we do not know what to do or which way to turn, but James encourages those who lack proper insight, to ask the Lord for the necessary wisdom, because He will provide liberally to all who ask.

The Bible says, “ Until now you have asked nothing in My Name, Ask and You will receive, that your joy may be full.” James also knows that trusting the Lord for wisdom as we travel through life, strengthens our faith in Him, and helps us, to endure patiently all that is needful for our growth in life, but we fail to ask God. You are always murmuring that you don’t have anything that you desire. But you don’t realize that you have a God who delights to give generously to all who ask Him, but you must be prepared to ask. God knows that you are weak and frail and often complain about your deficit. God is ever ready to provide all the wisdom we need to maintain a steady heart, patience, endurance, an unwavering, uncompromised faith.

The Bible says, everyone who asks will receive. God wants you to revive your prayer life. Prayer is a tool to ask God whatever you are in need of. You should improve your individual and family prayer. This helps to keep the family intact. Such prayer life will help to build your family life and not distort or shatter your family apart. You are prepared to stand in a long queue to receive free gifts from the government, but you are not ready to receive what the heavenly Government is willing to give you freely. The government offers free gifts only occasionally at a stipulated period of time but God are ready to supply your needs 365 days of your life.

Thus we learn that those who lack wisdom, are supposed to ask God who will give liberally without reproach. If you look back and trace your past life, you will realise that all your failures were due to your wrong decision taken because you lacked proper wisdom. You had made unwise decision. Therefore you had been at a great loss, and deprived of a happy and peaceful life. God’s plan for you is that you should not continue to take such unwise decision in future, and suffer further loss. Therefore since God loves you so much He wants to fill you with an extraordinary wisdom and help you live a better and prosperous life. God Bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Loving Father, as the pressures of life are pressing down hard on us , we want to hold fast to the faith and patiently endure. So give us the wisdom we need to face the future with all joy, knowing our life is hid with Christ in God. Help us to grow in grace and in wisdom as we rest in Your love and trust in Your word.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Go In Peace

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of 1 Samuel 1-17 , “Go In Peace And May The God of Israel, grant the petition, you have asked of him.”
From the above context we understand that our God rewards those who are faithful. He not only grants you peace but also the petition you have asked of Him. When we live, as God expects us to live, then God will bring about a great change in our lives. May be you have met loss in your life and you expect God to give you another opportunity to live. This is possible if you live a life pleasing unto God.
You need to live a life of testimony. May be you have backslidden from God and lost your glory. You have joined hands with the things of this world. Or you have engaged in activities that displeases God. The evil one has trapped you, such that you are unable to see the reality of life. You just can’t live like the unbelievers. God says, very clearly in the Bible that one who loves the world does not belong to God. Many make compromises with the world, and wish to please their friends and relatives or someone in the work spot. They seem more important to you than the living God.
The Bible says, He who loves the world is an enemy of God. If a man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Only God can reward you my dear brothers and sisters, May be there is some sickness in you, or weakness in your body. Or some problem in your business and you are unable to carry on your business successfully. There is some uneasiness at your work spot that needs to be solved. Today God wants to provide you fullness in every aspect of your life. And God says, those who seek God shall not lack any good thing.
Many of you who are reading this message are really searching for some comfort from God and His word. You are longing to seek Him. Therefore you shall not lack any good thing in your life.
I wish to share the testimony of a sister, who came to our Prayer Tower in Nagercoil two months back. She came in tears and said that her daughter was chased by her husband and her in laws and now her daughter, along with her children are in her house. This sister said, “I have come to this Prayer Tower under the refuge of God.”She surrendered herself at the feet of the Lord. She went into the small meditation room and kept crying. She said, she couldn’t bear to see her daughter in this condition. She remained in that room till late evening. The prayer warriors prayed for her earnestly and sent her home with the promise, “Go In Peace, The God of Israel, will grant the petition, you have asked of him.” So that sister, left in peace. The very next day in the morning, all the members from her husband’s family, came and without saying anything took back her daughter and her grandchildren. Thus we see that this sister had witnessed a miracle, for having come under the refuge of God, to the Prayer Tower. She sought God and so she was rewarded. God will reward you too, if you seek God with your whole heart. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for being our stronghold and our refuge. You are our strength and a very present help. We thank you for hearing the cry of that sister and granting her request. Teach us to come under the refuge of God, when we are in trouble.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

You Are Precious

I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 43:4, “Since you are precious and honoured in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.”
The above verse states, you are precious in the sight of God, and so He honours you and blesses you. Since you are precious, you have been made honourable. The Lord of the whole earth; has clothed you with the robe of righteousness, and garments of salvation. And Since God loved you with an everlasting love you have become precious and honourable. So God has promised to give men for you, and people for your life: as, in the past, God gave, the Egyptians, Ethiopians, and Sabeans, for the people of Israel. This is the way God wants you to be blessed and honoured as you are precious in His sight.
Many would have despised you all these days. You are hurt and saddened at heart. But do not be worried as to what they world thinks about you. What God thinks about you is more important, The Love of God is infinite. There is no malice or guile in His love. His love is pure and spotless. God loves you very much. His love for you is immense. You may be nothing to others. But you are very precious in God’s sight. He considers you as saints. You may be considered much less in the eyes of the world. But you are precious in the sight of God who has chosen you. God considers you as the apple of His eye.
Being born of God you have become more honourable. You wear the robe of righteousness, garment of salvation, and you have been favoured by the presence of God. God again says, “I have loved thee” Since God has loved you, you have become precious and honourable. It is an act of complacency and delight. God takes pleasure in those who hope in His mercy. His love is incomparable. Bible says, For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten son that who so ever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God says, “ I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with loving kindness.” God sent His only Son into the world, so that you might live through Him.

God does not love you based upon your performance. There is nothing you can do to cause God to love you any more than what he has already done for you. He loves you, even more than you love yourself. The knowledge that God loves you, will keep you going in this sinful world. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate you, from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God loves you, for you are precious in His sight. Therefore He will honour you and provide men to help and assist you in times of need. Therefore trust Him at all times. He will prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies. He will anoint your head with oil of gladness. He will lead you beside the still waters. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for your unconditional love that passes all understanding. Thank you Lord for having chosen us as your children. Thank You for considering us as precious jewels. Help us to love you sincerely and faithfully. Nothing should separate us from the Love of God.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

STEADY MIND

Dearly Beloved , I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of James 1:8 “For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, for he is unstable in all ways.”
From the above context we understand that a man will be blessed only if he is stable and not double minded. You might ask, the question, “What does it mean to be double-minded. Well, the term double-minded means, “a person with two minds or souls.” James writes of the doubting person that he is “like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all that he does. ” A doubter is a double-minded person. Who is unstable, unsteady, wavering, in both his character and feelings.”
A double-minded person is restless and confused in his thoughts, his actions, and his behaviour. Such a person is always in conflict with himself. One torn by such inner conflict can never lean with confidence on God and His gracious promises. The term “unstable” refers to a drunken man who is unable to walk in a straight line, he seems to be swaying one way, then another. He has no defined direction and as a result doesn’t get anywhere. Such a person is “unstable in all that he does.”

Those who are double-minded do not have faith in God. “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command.” We cannot be both “certain” and doubting, as is the double-minded person. One part of his mind is sure of something, while the other part doubts. Such is the double-minded man. They should ask God for wisdom and good understanding. Faith comes by reading the word of God. So read the Bible and pray for faith. God freely gives what is good to those who ask Him and it’s good to ask for an increase of faith, for everyone who asks receives.

Some of you reading this message is so worried about such children, even grown up children behave in this manner. For instance some children change their mind from time to time. Some children tell their parents that they will take a particular group in a particular college. Parents would soon go to that college make the payment, and admit their children their son or daughter. Then after few weeks their son might say, “This College is not good and this group seems to be too difficult. So put me in another college and I shall choose another group.” So in order to please their son the parent would again admit him in another college. Then after few weeks the son would say, “Daddy here they treat us like kids. I don’t like this college, I shall do some other new course introduced newly.” I prefer to join that college and remain in the Hostel to study well.” So again the parent will heed to the words of their son and get him admitted in the new course and new college that he prefers. Thus we see that the boy or girl does not have a steady mind. They fail to understand the pain and stress they cause to their parents because of their double mindedness. Even such children are now reading this message. I wish a change come upon them after reading this message. May the Lord bring about a pure, clean and steady mind and help them to walk perfectly.
Jesus declared, “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” This is very true. One must be in a position to choose the right option set before him rather than switching over from one thing to another. Sometimes certain families get distorted and shattered because either the husband or the wife fail to have a steady mind. As a result the father gets separated and the mother sometimes works in one place and children are forced to stay in the hostel or in their grandparent’s house. Some wives say, “ My Husband does not have a steady mind. He doesn’t care for me or my children, then how can we trust and live with him? This brings about a great havoc within the members of the family and it becomes very difficult to set things right in such families. May God help you to avoid such crisis arising in your family and cooperate with each other to remain in harmony and peace. I pray that, “ Peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces.” God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You because you are a God who is faithful, to those who seek you. Teach us not to be double minded. Help us to have a steady mind. Give us the wisdom and good understanding to handle situations correctly. Help us not to trouble others because of our misunderstanding or misguidance. Guide us to have the right perspective of our goals in life and means to achieve them.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

Stand Firm

Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Hosea 14:5, “I will be like the dew to Israel, He shall grow, like the lilly. And lengthen his roots, like Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and His beauty shall be like an Olive, tree.’’
From the above context we understand that our God made a promise to the People of Israel saying that He will be like the dew, like the early morning dew that drenches the thirsty land with its refreshing life, and vitality. It descends secretly, silently, and slowly and unobserved and yet each tiny droplet gently softens the iron-hard soil, which allows the joy of life to pour into the withering plant -reviving, reinvigorating, rejuvenating and replenishing. The Lord’s promise to become as refreshing dew from heaven to Israel, was accomplished just as His pledge to return His chosen inheritance to the land of Canaan was fulfilled.

God expects us to stand firm and steady in all that we do, only then can we stabilize ourselves in this life. One who stands firm till the end will be the conqueror. I am introducing the one who can stabilize you. He wants you to be like the Cedar that stands firm and spreads deep into the ground. You need to cling to the Lord who can make you stand firm. If one should stand firm, he ought to join with the Lord, who can stabilize, and settle you.
The Lord who can stabilize you, has come down to give you, wages that is firm, and permanent. Some might say, “Look I don’t have a steady income, so I haven’t got married. How can I settle down without a proper job? ”Well your cry has been heard by God in heaven. That is why this message has been posted to encourage your broken heart, mind and spirit. If one has to stand firm and steady in his education, job, or business then he needs to have a steady mind. He should not keep changing his mind, every now and then. If you are unstable then your life will be destroyed. Your life will be toppled.
You need to seek God to give you a steady mind. Ask God to give you an anointing of stabilizing your life. God who can stabilize your life, has come down today, to settle you well and make you stand firm and steady in all that you do. And God has promised even more wonderful blessing to follow, of which we are incapable of imagining, for eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for those that love him. So often as we trudge through the miry clay of this fallen world we too become weary and worn, discouraged and downcast, but praise God that we have access to the early morning dew, that revives, reinvigorates, rejuvenates, replenishes and refreshes our lives today and forevermore. Learn to stand firm and steady, that you might be established in life. God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Father God, we thank You that even when we are weary and worn out, You are there as refreshing dew from heaven, to soften our dry and parched state of life. Thank You for Your faithfulness to all of us, and though we often go astray, keep us close to your side, meet all our needs. Help us to stand firm and steady in all that we do.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
