Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given you today is from the book of 3 John 1:2, “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” .
Today God is calling each one of you as ‘My Beloved’. You are beloved in the sight of God. According to the world, you might be considered to be a person of less importance. But the Lord says, “My Beloved I wish, you prosper in all things just as your soul prospers.” The Lord wants you to do well in your education, your life, work place, your ministry and so on. Today God wants to perform a miracle in your life in the area where you are weak. The strength of the Lord is enough to help you prosper in life.
We see in the book of 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Apostle Paul faced shortcomings in his life. He asked God to take away his shortcomings. But God said to him, “My grace is sufficient for you. For my strength is made perfect in your weakness”. Apostle Paul rejoiced in the strength of the Lord.
You may be worried about some situation that you are going through. You might be facing some problems at your workplace or even in your family life. Do not lose hope. The Lord is always by your side. His strength is enough for you to overcome all your weaknesses. You are God’s beloved.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I pray that You may bless Your children. Lord give them the strength that they need to overcome all their weaknesses. May they prosper in all that they do. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My dearly Beloved Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 31:42,” If God of MY father, the God of Abraham and the fear of Isaac, had not been on my side, surely now you would have sent me away empty handed. God saw my affliction and the labour of my hands and rebuked you last night.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above passage we come to learn that we ought to have the grace of God. To obtain his grace we need to walk diligently before God. Only then He will rescue us from all danger and harm that could befall us in our life. God is mindful of us and our family. He knows all our needs. God blesses both the small and the great. Here in this passage we find how God rescued Jacob from the cruel hands of his uncle Laban. Jacob was one of the sons of Isaac. He feared God and walked in His ways. Jacob after receiving all the blessings from his father departed from Canaan to Haran the place where his uncle Laban dwelt.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Isaac and his wife Rebecca wanted to send Jacob to his uncle’s house in order to make his dwelling. They did not have wealth to give him to do his business. But they blessed him with all their heart, and sent him away to his uncle’s house with the hope that he will do well there and prosper in his business. The Blessing of his parents was so important to him.
He went with staff and hand and crossed River Jordan. But Jacob worked in his uncle’s house day and night tirelessly for His living. He worked for seven years for his wife Rachel but he was cheated. So he served another seven years and married her. He continued to work for another six years for his family. Thus he slogged all his days both in summer and winter and in chilly weather. His salary was changed for 10 times. Later he made a covenant and became partner with his uncle. But God blessed the labour of his hands abundantly. Because of Jacob, his uncle Laban too was blessed. They both had great wealth and prospered much.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Many times wild animals killed the sheep and at times some men stole the sheep from the fold during the night time so his salary was deducted. He was penalised by his uncle very much. His sleep was far from him, says the word of the Lord. Thus he suffered much in the hands of his uncle Laban.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, May be you too are suffering like Jacob in your life. Never fail to get the blessing of your parents. It will help you in the long run. Your beginning may be small but your end will be fruitful and blessed. Despite your hard effort your boss is displeased with you. He doesn’t pay you sufficiently. But God is mindful of you and your problems. God is bringing all this to an end today. Even though Laban taxed him and reduced his salary several times God stood on his side and increased Jacob more and more.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Having become a wealthy man Jacob decided to return to Canaan his father’s place with his wives and children. Though he came with staff and hand now he had two companies. He was on his way, but Laban started chasing him to plunder him of all his wealth. Therefore God warned Laban not to speak anything against Jacob and never to harm him or plunder him. But to make a peace treaty and send him peacefully to his father’s place.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God will even warn your enemies who stand against you and your family. He will obstruct them from harming you and rescue you from all your enemies and also protect and save you from all those who cause trouble to you. Therefore be cheerful and rejoice in the Lord talways. God will keep you in perfect peace. The Bible says, the Lord gives strength to his people, the Lord blesses his people with peace.
God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord we are grateful to you for protecting us from our enemies and helping us from all our troubles. Teach us to be faithful and honest to our taskmasters like Jacob, who in spite of all hardship endured patiently for God to bless him. Increase us too oh Lord, as you increased Jacob.
In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Exodus 33:19, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you, and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion.”
From the above context we learn that Moses is very earnest with God.. Moses pleads to God to go before them, and he said, to God Jehovah, “If your presence does not go with us do not, bring us up, from here. ” Moses understands that only if God goes before them, it confirms that His people have found grace in God’s sight, and they are a separate nation from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth.” Moses also asked God to reveal His glory as an indication, that God was present with them. Then God speaks the above words to Moses assuring that He, Himself will make all His goodness pass before them. And He will be gracious and compassionate to His people. He was a God who did justice to His people by going before them in the form of thick clouds to guide them on their way, in the daytime and a pillar of fire to give them light during the night time.
Our God is not only a God of Compassion but also a God of Justice. He rewards those who seek him diligently. Our Lord intercedes on our behalf to God the Father, to save us from all our problems and tribulations. He is a God of all comfort. He comforts those in agony and in tears. He delivers them from their captivity. Many are entangled in the captivity of sickness, disease, debts, financial crisis, loss in business, unemployment, failure in marriage, and many such problems. At times your own people cause unbearable troubles and ruin your lives. But God of compassion readily waits to save you from such people. He directly makes known to you the schemes and plans with which they visit your homes.
When God of compassion rises up and begins to operate on your behalf then the glory of God will descend upon you in a marvellous manner to do justice for you and your family. He will dispel all darkness from your life and cause you to shine in the future. God is waiting to emerge powerfully to speedily act for your good cause whenever you are trapped by evil forces. He is compassionately watching over you to assist you in your affliction. He watches over your children, their education that has been blocked for various reasons, your family relationship that has been broken, your profession that is dwindling, your health, which is wanting immediate remedy , your ministry that has not been successful, and many such things regarding your life. What will God do when He rises up? God of compassion rises up to do justice for you.
Through this message I wish to share how God intervened in the life of a brother to do justice for him. This brother has been working in Dubai for more than fifteen years. He sent me an email asking me to pray for his deliverance. He was trapped in huge debts. He had credit card debts, bank loans and private loans and many other debts. He was unable to recover from these debts. So for security sake the court had seized his passport, and did not allow him to go anywhere out of the country. The Police officials had filed several cases against him. So he was caught up in a place from where he was not able to visit his native home in South India. He couldn’t attend any good function or ceremonies. He struggled in this manner for three years. Even if he went to the airport to escape he was caught by the police officers, He was filled with remorse and regrets. He couldn’t share his problem with anyone. He had faith in God. He had written in the mail that only the God of compassion can deliver him from this situation. I was impressed by his email which referred to the God of Compassion. That brother had written that if God of compassion would have compassion on him and release his passport and deliver him from this horrible situation he will remain grateful to God all the days of His life.
I prayed for him fervently and sent a mail in reply, asking him to “ Commit his ways unto the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” He faithfully held on to this simple word of God and kept praying over his problem. It so happened that after a week he received a call from the court in Sharjah, asking him to come in person, pay a small fine and get back his passport. The police officials had nullified all his cases, and knowing that he was unable to pay back the dues they exempted him from heavy payment and also he was reinstated in the job. What a miracle ! Halleluiah. God had done justice to this brother who was caught up in great tribulation. My dearly beloved, God will do justice for you also if you trust in Him and commit your ways unto the Lord. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for being compassionate to us. For doing justice to us and our children. Lord help us to put our trust completely in you. Teach us to exercise faith in God and do His will.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of, Genesis 24:63. “And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening. And he lifted his eyes. And looked at Rebekah who dismounted from her camel. Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent and Rebekah became his wife. “
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, some of you are crying because even though you are ready for marriage, no proposals, are coming your way. Your outcry is being heard by God. Behold God is sending an angel today to bring in the right partner in your life. In future there should be no crying or weeping regarding your marriage, in life. God will bring in a good, suitable, god fearing partner for you.
The Bible says, To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven. God has made everything beautiful in its time. For there is nothing better for man than, to rejoice and to do good in his life. Therefore be cheerful and rejoice in the Lord always. As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth and given him power to eat, of it, to receive his heritage, and rejoice in his labour. This is the gift of God.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, we see in the Bible how Abraham sent his main servant Eliezer to go to his own country and to his kindred and take his wife for his son from there. So Eliezer took ten of his masters camels and, departed to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor. There he met Rebekah who came out with pitcher on her shoulder to meet Eliezer. She let her pitcher down and gave him a drink. She said to him “ I will draw water for your camels also.” Eliezer knew that she was the right girl for her master’s son. According to God’s guidance and wisdom he selected Rebekah to be the wife of his master’s son. Eliezer asked Laban the brother of Rebekah not to hinder him from taking her to his master’s house. So Laban blessed Rebekah and sent her away to her husband’s house. And one day when Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening he lifted up his eyes. And looked at Rebekah who dismounted from her camel. Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent and Rebekah became his wife.“God’s plan was fulfilled in the life of Isaac. His sorrow over the death of his mother, was changed to joy.
My Dear brothers and Sisters , In the same way the Lord will open the marriage, door for those of you who are yet to be married. Therefore cast your burden upon the Lord for He cares for you. Remember that all things are possible to them that believe on His name. For nothing is impossible with God. Surely there is a hereafter, and your hope will not be cut off.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for revealing to us from the word of God how to secure a life partner through the example of Isaac and Rebekah. We pray that You will provide the right partner into our lives. Teach us to wait upon You O Lord and not be hasty in making the decision. Bless us Lord with God fearing partners.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 32:26, “The Angel of God said, Let Me go for the day breaks. But Jacob said, I will not let you go, unless You bless me.”
Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above passage we learn that the Angel of God by an admirable condescension speaks to Jacob, “ Let Me go for the day breaks.” But Jacob was reluctant, to leave the Angel of God. He resolves he will have a blessing even though all his bones are put out of joint, than allow the Angel to leave him without a blessing. Having been left alone he spread his fears before God in Prayer, for prayer is indeed wrestling with God. Nothing requires more vigour and unceasing exertion than wrestling because it is an emblem of the true spirit of faith and prayer. Jacob kept his ground, though the struggle continued long. This did not shake his faith or silence his prayer. So he prevailed and was blessed. Jacob relied on God for his sustenance.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Jacob went to his uncle’s place with empty hand and a staff. The only blessing he had while he went to his uncle’s place was the blessing of His parents. But now God had blessed him with many children, servants, cattle, and much wealth. So he decided to leave his uncle and return back to Canaan his Father’s place. He wanted to go back and settle there with his wives and children. The Bible says, He returned with two companies. God had blessed him abundantly. But he feared to enter into His Fathers place, because he feared his elder brother Esau, who had earlier planned to kill Jacob for grabbing all the Blessing’s from his father Isaac. There was a family enmity that continued for over a period of time. Being very tired all the servants and his wives and children were fast asleep. But Jacob could not sleep. He was filled with fear, while returning home to see his Father. He was gripped with fear. He was afraid of facing the consequences awaiting him in his homeland. He was alone by the river side of Jabbok. And he cried out to God in deep distress that God should help him, from the hands of his elder brother. For he was afraid that he and his entire family, his wife and children, his servants would be destroyed.
During this critical time God came to meet him as the Angel of God. And Jacob struggled with him and prevailed. God blessed Jacob as He had promised him, while he was on his way to his uncle’s place. The very same night God changed the heart of his brother Esau, and he came to meet Jacob on his way to Canaan. Esau embraced Jacob and kissed him and a peace treaty was made between the brothers after many long years. Thus God changed the situation in favour of Jacob his beloved. Though the night was agonious, God granted him a peaceful morning.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, today as you are reading this message with much grief and sorrow, God Himself comes down to join with you in your problems. Share your difficulties with God. Often you share your sorrows with others who cannot help you in any way. But you never understand that there is a God beside you who can help you from all your troubles. You don’t realize to seek God at times of trouble. Learn to share your problems with God, He will solve all your problems in an amicable manner and set you free. May be you youngsters, cannot share your problems with your own parents but when you share with God however big your problem might seem to be God will counsel and solve all your problems. Start sharing with God. Make Him the Lord and Master of your life. He will bless you as He blessed Jacob, and change the worst situation in favour of you. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You for teaching us the importance of Prayer. May we look up to God when we are in trouble? Teach us not to share our problems with others who cannot help us. Make us to understand that we need to put our confidence in God rather than man.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
