God’s Love

My dear Brothers  and sisters   in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 43:4, “Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.”

My dear children of God since you are precious in His sight, God wants to honor You.  Many would have despised you all these days. You are hurt and saddened at heart. But do not be worried as what the world thinks about you. What God thinks about you is more important, The Love of God is infinite. There is no malice or guile in His love. His love is pure  and spotless.  God loves you so much. His love for you is immense.  You may be nothing to others. But you are very precious in Gods sight. He considers  you as saints. You may be considered much less in the eyes of the world.  But  you  are precious in the sight of God who has chosen you. God considers you as the apple of His eye.

God says, you have been honorable. Being born of God You have become more honorable. You wear the robe of righteousness,  garment of salvation,  and you have been favored by the presence of God. God again says, “I have loved thee” Since God has loved you, you have become precious and honorable. It is an act of complacency and delight. God takes pleasure in those who hope in His mercy. His love is incomparable. Bible says, For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten son that who so ever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God says, I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with loving kindness. God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this,  is love, not that we loved God but  that He loved us.

God does not love you based upon your performance. There is nothing you can do to cause God to love you any more than what he has already done for you. He loves you, even more than you love yourself.  The knowledge that God loves you,  will keep you going in this sinful world. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,  nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My dear brothers and sisters,   God loves you,  for you are precious in His sight. Therefore He will honour you  and provide men to help and assist you in times of need. Therefore trust Him at all times. He will prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies. He will anoint your head with oil of gladness. He will lead you beside the still waters.

God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank  You Lord for your unconditional love that passes all understanding. Thank you Lord for having chosen us as your children.  Help us to love you sincerely and faithfully. Nothing should separate us from the Love of God.  In  Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God of Comfort

Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given you today is from the book of 2 Corinthians 1:3, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort”. Jesus will not leave you as orphans; He will be with you and will comfort you.

Sometimes, God allows you to go through difficult times. Through this, God wants you to learn to trust and rely on Him for all your needs. When you fix your eyes upon Jesus, you will be encouraged by the counsel you receive from Him. You will be comforted and will also have peace in your heart. We see in the book of 2 Corinthians 1:4, “God comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort them who are in trouble”. Our God is a God of comfort. He comforts you when you are distressed. Likewise, you will also be able to comfort those who are in need of comfort.

Finding comfort in times of trouble relieves you from all your worries. The Lord will wipe away all your tears. Do not be troubled my child. Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak”.  God will strengthen you when you are weak. He loves you and He cares for you. Trust in Him for all your needs.

I would like to site an incident from the bible where Jesus comforts the weary. Jesus comforted Mary and Martha over the death of Lazarus. Mary and Martha loved their brother Lazarus very dearly. They could not bear the loss. They kept weeping. That was when Jesus comforted Mary and Martha. God moves with compassion and comforts those who are weary and weak in their spirit. One word of encouragement is enough to enlighten your day.

When Jesus could comfort all these people and rejuvenate their lives, will He not comfort you? Jesus the Father, sees your pain and your worries. He will comfort you my child. Be encouraged in the Lord. He will surely comfort you, for He is the God of comfort.

God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, there are many children who are weak and weary in their spirit. I do not know what their problems are; but Lord, You know each and every desire of their heart. Father I pray that You may send forth Your word and comfort them. Fill Your dear children with gladness. In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

Seek God

Dearly Beloved in Christ,

I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord gave me to bless you today is from the book of Amos 5:4, “For thus says, the Lord to the House of Israel, “Seek Me and Live.” God expects us to seek Him in order to live, do well and prolong our days on the face of the earth. We need to depend upon the God of heaven for all our needs. We need to seek His face if we need to do well in our life. Tell the Father in heaven all that you need according to Psalm 121:1, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help. My help comes from God who made heaven and earth.” Do not depend upon any man for he will disappoint you. Jeremiah 17:5 says, “Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord”.

Every gift comes from God the Father. He is Jehovah Jireh our provider. Be it a job, gift of the womb, or a business, or a property or your life partner, whatever it may be all comes from God. James 1:17 says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”. If only you cling to God for your blessing then God will meet your needs in a miraculous manner. God has stored a great treasure in heaven and whenever you are in need of anything God grants it to you from heaven. Deuteronomy 28:12 says, “The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands”.

God is so mindful of His people on the earth. He sends rain on the just and on the unjust without any partiality. He rebuilds or re-establishes your work place, your income or your broken family. God will send His angels to prepare the way to rebuild your life. Psalm 20:4 says, “May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed”. God wants us to live a successful life. We are born to win. Romans 8:37 says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us”. If you love Him and walk in truth then the Lord will shower His richest blessings upon you.

Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord help my children to cling to you for all their needs. Let them know that there is no partiality with God and He blesses his children with one accord. He is a God who made heaven and earth. He is a God who made heaven and earth. Let them lift up their eyes to the God of Gods and the Lord of Lords. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Matthew 7:11, ” If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your father which in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we do understand, that in the midst of all our evil, there is still that element of natural and pure affection. Which makes the father hood of men a fit parable of the Fatherhood of God. As all mankind in general, are both by nature and practice, they are conceived in sin, shapen in iniquity, are evil from their youth, they are corrupt and do abominable things. But the Bible says, even such people know how to give good gifts, to their children. They give their best to their children though it costs them much.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, When these evil parents can afford to give good gifts to their children, how much more shall your Father who is omniscient and omnipotent knows your need and will bless you with His choicest blessings.

The Bible says, God gives all good things to them that ask him. The context shows that the “good things” are spiritual gifts. The wisdom, and insight which we all need or rather the one gift of the holy spirit. Not only temporal gifts, as meat, drink and clothing but all spiritual good things, every supply of grace, all things, pertaining, to life and godliness. Spiritual gifts include grace, everything that is necessary for the spiritual and eternal good of his people. But to receive these gifts one must inquire of and seek after, and ask God for them. For every one who asks receives, the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks the door will be opened.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God expects us to ask him when we are in need. He says, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask and you will receive that your joy may be complete.” He further urges us to ask by saying, “Whatever you ask in My name, This I will do. That the Father may be glorified in the son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” Also we need to believe that if we ask God in prayer, we will receive it and it will be granted to us. May the Lord help you to ask Him when you are in need. David in his Psalms says, “To You all flesh will come, For you hear prayer.” God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We thank you because you hear our prayer. Teach us to ask you when we are in need of help. Thank you for the gifts that you have bestowed upon us, both spiritual and temporal. Though we are sinful in nature, yet you consider us and guide us in the way we should go. Bless us Lord , with Your Divine Spirit that we live in tune with God.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God’s Radiance

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Isaiah 54: 11-12, “O you afflicted one Tossed with tempest and not comforted, Behold I will lay your stones with colourful gems. And lay your foundations with Sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of Rubies your gates of Crystal. And all your walls of precious”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, the above words speak about Jerusalem. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed. But my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of My peace be removed says the Lord who has mercy on Jerusalem. These verses promise us that God will transform our tempest into His treasure. He will give us beauty for ashes. He will rebuild our broken walls. He promises that our ruins will be rebuilt. Our desolations raised up. And our ruined cities repaired. He also promises to fill our empty places. These verses demonstrate that Jesus Christ Himself will be our foundation and our walls, for He is the chief corner stone. He promises to restore our broken places such that we radiate His glory and beauty. He uses everything, precious and valuable to build us according to His will. In fact He uses His very own self to be sacrificed for us.My Dear Brothers and Sisters, The above passage actually speaks about the abandoned state of Hebrew nation. For they were in exile for nearly seventy years, in Babylon. The people then, were far away from comforts, which they had enjoyed in their own land and they were apparently forsaken by God. They were afflicted and tossed with tempest. God asked them to return back to their land. And promised to make them exceedingly beautiful and pure, stable and glorious. The above verses expresses the beauty, purity, strength, magnificence and solidity. The passage describes the New Jerusalem in the same oriental, manner. For Jerusalem shall be built with sapphires, and emeralds and precious stones. And the streets of Jerusalem shall be paved with beryl and stones of Ophir. God tells Jerusalem, “I will make thee exceedingly beautiful and glorious, by a plentiful effusion of excellent gifts and graces.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God said, about His people, “For a brief moment I had forgotten you, But with great compassion I will gather you.” God was very particular about the establishment of the new Jerusalem, While describing the New Jerusalem most men do not, view Gods church in such magnificently entity colours. But this is God’s view. For the church is the most beautiful, sublime, glorious and magnificent entity upon the planet earth. Hence the external beauty of the kingdom of God is described in the above verses. Yahweh had promised protection for the Hebrew nation and had assured them of his favour. He not only defended his people, but also wanted his church to rise with great beauty. May the Lord reveal the importance of church and also the power of God in expressing the revelation of the new Jerusalem.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day, Lord help us to know more about the New Jerusalem. To learn about the greatness of the church and be involved in it. Lord teach us to realize how difficult it must have been for the Hebrews to be in exile and also to be thankful to God who delivered them and blessed them with a land flowing with milk and honey. And that You will make our pinnacles of Rubies and our gates of Crystal. Thank You Lord for Your goodness and mercy extended to the people of God. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
