Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 26:7-9, “Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our misery, toil and oppression. So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey”
Our God is a God who respects your voice. Your husband might not have respected your voice. Your wife might not have respected your voice. Your children might not have respected your voice. Because of that, your heart might be filled with agony. The Lord is telling a good news for such children. It does not matter as to who respect your voice or not, my Lord respects your voice.
The people of Israel were suffering for 430 years in captivity to the Egyptians. Initially, they did not realize the sufferings and the pain that they had to go through. As days passed, they were being treated very rudely. It was then that the people of God realized that they needed a change. They also believed that God was the only one who could help them from their problems. Therefore, in expectant of a change, they all looked up to God and cried out to Him for help. God respected their voice. To deliver them out of their captivity, God ordained Moses for their aid. He was able to perform mighty signs and wonders and only then he could deliver the Israelites from Egypt.
It is true that the Israelites were afflicted in that land. They were pressed by all sides; they went through a lot of agony. Through all these sufferings, they needed a miracle in their lives. They needed a breakthrough. God sent Moses and delivered His people from the land of captivity.
My dear brothers and sisters, even today, you might be pressed on all sides, broken by the problems you face, and your hearts might be filled with pain and agony. You might not have anyone to even console you. No one might understand what you are going through. Today the Lord says, “Do not be worried, for I have heard your cry for help.” Like how the Lord sent Moses to deliver His people, similarly, He will send someone to bring you out of your difficulties. Our God is a God of compassion. There is nothing that God cannot do. God knows all your problems. All you need to do is to trust in Him. He will deliver you from all your bondage and He will take you to the land flowing with milk and honey.
God respects your voice. He hears your cry for help. He is a God who cares for His children. God will not leave His children in oppression. He will deliver you. Do not be worried about the storms of your life. It will all soon pass away.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I submit Your dear children into Your loving hands of protection. Lord, You can see the pain and agony that my children are going through. Father, You have said that You respect their voice. I pray that You may bring an end to their pain and agony and give them peace and happiness all the days of their lives. Send Your angels and deliver them from whatever problem that they are going through. Be with them and bless them. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Exodus, 34:10 , “Then the Lord said, I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people, I will do wonders, never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.”
Dear Brothers and Sisters from the above context, we see how God of Israel wanted to make a covenant with his people Israel who had violated the covenant by their sin. They had alliance with other foreign gods and strange people who dwelt with them. They gave their children in marriage to the idolaters, they made molten images, and caused displeasure to God.
The above context suggests that God wants to live in the midst of His children, and do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth. He dried up the rivers of Jordan, He made the walls of Jericho fall, He destroyed the great army of five kings who rose up against His children, by hailstones and performed many such wonders.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, in the same manner, God will perform wonders and miracles, for you and exalt you before those people who abused you, despised you and cursed you for no reason of yours. He will lift you up before those people, and exalt you. God will do all this in your life, as He has promised if you remain true to Him in all your ways. Him alone you shall worship. Make no idols for yourself. Never go after money or any other form of worldly pleasure.
Instead be holy , be perfect, and sanctify yourself. Then the Lord will be pleased with you and bless the work of your hand, as he has promised. God changed the plain water into sweet tasty wine. He divided the Red Sea into two and made the people of Israel pass through. He overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea. Such a God is able to perform miracles for you too. He will honor You in all your endeavors. May God help you to experience the wonders in your life.
God bless you.
Prayer : Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We realize that you are God of wonders. You have promised to do wonders in the midst of us. Help us to trust you completely and believe in your promise. Lord help us to be blameless and spotless in our life so that you can perform wonders in our midst. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Job 14:14 “ If someone dies, will they live again? All the days of my hard service. I will wait for my renewal to come.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, From the above context we come to understand, that Job speaks to God, He stopped speaking to his friends. As it did not serve any purpose. He pleads with God for his mercies. He says man’s life is short and sorrowful. He thought that God was too strict and severe with him. Because during his early days, Job lived a glorious life. But a day came when he lost all that he had. His children, his cattle, his wealth and he had boils all over his body. Even his friends doubted his righteousness. They thought that he might have committed some serious sin in his life to suffer such affliction. Even his wife asked him to curse God and die. But Job says, “I will wait till my change comes.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, All Job’s expressions here shows his belief in the great doctrine of the resurrection. Since his friends proved miserable he consoles himself with the expectation of a change. He says, “’ All the days, of my appointed time, I will endure with patience. ”How the change will be, he does not know. But he thinks that it might be relief from his sufferings, or it might be happy in some future state. He was certain that life was to be passed over and that man could not go over his youth or his age again. Job says, that he would wait for the day when his renewal will come. Job knew there will be an end to all the days of hardship and affliction. But he was prepared to wait for a change to come in his life. God is able to change your bad time into a good time as He did it for Job. Because he waited with patience for that spectacular day, the day, of prosperity.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, All the blessings that you enjoy today, are given by God. He gives and takes away. And what He takes away He is able to give it back to you. The Lord will give you back all the blessings that you have lost in your life. Your job, your house, all your wealth, happiness, and peace in your family life. God will give you a double portion of blessings. The Bible says,The Lord restored Job’s losses, and the Lord gave twice as much as he had before. He will bless you with the same measure if you wait on the Lord patiently for a change until it comes.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, we thank you for encouraging us with your word. That if we wait patiently on you, You will give us back all that we have lost in life. Help us never to sin nor charge God with wrong. Teach us to seek God during bad times. And commit our ways to God.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overcome you except such as is common to man. But God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are, but with the temptation will also make the way, of escape that you may be able to bear it.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, From this passage we understand that when you are tempted, God will provide a way out, so that you can endure it. As an ambassador of God, I tell you that God guarantees you, that God is faithful, and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. The Lord will give you the strength to bear it during the times of your troubles, and as a guarantee, He will also provide a way to escape out of all the problems. Helelujah! May be you are stuck in some kind of trouble. However great your problem might have been, the Bible says, “ No temptation has overtaken you, except what is common to mankind.” Wasn’t Job just a human being? Yet he faced a terrible disaster in his life. He faced his problems patiently. He did not murmur against God. So God changed his sorrow into joy. The Lord gave twice as much as he had before.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, you too might have faced such problems in your life. It might be huge debts that you cannot overcome. Or may be a terrible disease that you are suffering from, Or It might be shame caused due to some unpleasant, situation. Or you are going through some kind of failure, in your life. The Lord knows very well how much you can bear or you cannot bear. Only the Lord Jesus Christ knows your capacity.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God will permit only the difficulties that are common to mankind. Nothing beyond your capacity will happen in your life. The Lord who promised is truthful. He is truthful enough to rescue you from all your troubles. He will cause a way of escape and deliver you completely from all your problems. So make the Lord your confidence. For the Lord says, I am with you to deliver you. For God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are. God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord you know our capacity, as to how much we can bear, and accordingly you allow difficulties in our life. Teach us to bear our problems patiently and not murmur about it. Give us the strength to tolerate our affliction that we face in our life. May we consider it a joy while we go through trials and temptation. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ . The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of 1 Samuel 1:27, “For this child I prayed and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of him.”
Hannah is one of two wives of Elkanah. The other, Peninnah, had given birth to Elkanah’s children, but Hannah remained childless. So one day, Hannah went up to the temple, and prayed with great weeping . Eli the High Priest heard her weeping bitterly at the altar. Hannah was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. She made a vow saying, ‘’Lord if You will give me a mail child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life.” When Eli inquired the reason for her weeping she told him that she was a woman of sorrowful spirit, therefore she had poured out her heart to God. Eli said , “Go in peace, and the God of Israel will grant your petition.” Hannah conceived and bore a son. And called his name Samuel, God looked into her affliction and heard her cry and answered her prayers. God not only heard her prayer but answers everyone who cries out to him in truth and spirit.
I would like to share a testimony about a family in America. I went to Australia in July 2017. And a family came for prayers . When I asked them what I should pray for? They told me about their elder brother who was in America. They had been married for almost ten years but they had no children. So I prayed for them through the phone. I sent God’s word and believed that He will perform a miracle. I said to the Lord, “You are a God of miracles. You hear the cry of the needy. You are a God who does more than what we ask , think or pray. Therefore kindly bless my son with the gift of a child. You are a God at hand and a God afar off”. I sent the word through the phone hoping that God would perform a miracle. The word took a form within her womb, and she conceived three children in her womb. Praise be to God.
God saw her affliction and blessed her with three children. I again went to Australia in the month of July this year 2018, that family came again to meet me. I couldn’t recognize them. I asked them what I should pray for? Then they narrated the entire episode that took place in 2017 in my previous visit. They said that God had blessed their elder brother, after I had prayed with two daughters and a son. They were filled with great joy. They said that they had come to thank me. God sent forth the word and performed a miracle. God will perform a miracle for you too if you wait upon Him.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord I thank you for answering the prayers of my children. When we call You in distress you hear our cry. Lord we praise You for Your kindness. Bless all those who are in need of a child and may they rejoice in You all the days of their lives. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
