I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Exodus 6:6 , “ I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgement.”
From the above context we come to understand that our God is a Righteous Judge. God will not only provide house for the desolate but also deliver them from bondages that they are caught up with. Some of you might have been caught in debts, in some unwanted issues. Or may be in some sinful activity. God is going to deliver all of you from such issues. In the Bible we read about a widow who was caught up with huge debt. God delivered her and her sons. And she was relieved from her bondage.
One day certain woman of the wives of a prophet, cried out to Prophet Elisha, saying that her husband was dead, and that he was a man who feared the Lord. But he had left behind a huge debt which she could not repay. And the creditor was demanding her two sons to work with him as slaves. As compensation for the debts incurred by her husband. The woman was much troubled in heart so she cried out to the Prophet. So Elisha said to her, what shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house? And she said, “Your maid servant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”Then he said to her, “Go borrow empty vessels from all your neighbours, as many as you can. And when you have gathered them go into your room you and your sons and shut the door from behind. Then pour the oil that you have, into all the empty vessels, and set aside all the full ones.”She did as the Prophet Elisha had said.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, when the vessels were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is no other vessel” So the oil ceased from flowing. Then she went and told the man of God, that she had filled in all the vessels. And the Prophet said to her, “Go sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons live with the rest.” So the woman paid her creditors and lived in peace with her sons thereafter. Thus God delivered the woman and her sons from their bondage.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Are you in bondage? Have you been caught up with huge debt, or you involved in court case or have you been harassed by someone? Are you suffering from incurable disease? What is your problem that you are facing right at this point of time? Doesn’t worry, God will descend from His Holy Mountain to help you and deliver you from your bondage. Jesus said, “My judgement is just.” Righteousness and Justice are the foundations of God’s throne. So God will do justice to you also as he has promised. For He is the Rock, His work is perfect, For all His ways are justice. A God of truth, and without injustice. Righteous and upright is He. When we have such a God why worry. Take your problems before the Lord in prayer and He will cause you to be victorious in life. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you for telling us from the scripture, how God rescued the woman in bondage. Teach us to be depend upon God for all our needs. May we not get trapped, in any unwanted issues? Prevent us from being caught up in bondages. Deliver us from all unrighteousness and help us to be just and honest in our lives.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Deuteronomy 23:5 “, Nevertheless the Lord thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee because the Lord Your God Loves You.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that our God loved Israel. Those whom the Lord loves are blessed. Hence the Lord turns the curse into a blessing through the very mouth of Balaam. For both the tribes Ammonite and Moabites had not met the children of Israel with bread and water while they were on their way to Canaan the promised Land. Balak hired Balaam to curse the people because whatever He spoke was wonder struck. The Lord over ruled his tongue and put such words into his mouth in such a manner that instead of cursing he blessed Israel.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God delighted in David and wished to set him on the throne, of Israel because the Lord loved Israel for ever. He made him King of Israel to do justice and righteousness. The Bible says, When Israel was a youth I loved him. And out of Egypt, I called My son. Because God loved Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob the fathers of Israel, he set his love on their descendants too after them.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, the Psalmist says, God shall choose our inheritance for us. So we submit our will, our choice, our desire wholly to Him. Our Heritage here and hereafter, we leave to Him. Let the Lord do with us as seems Him good. The Excellency of Jacob whom he loved, He divided their portion according to their tribes. God was the glory of Israel. He loved His people, and became their greatest glory. God loves us and He shall be our exceeding joy. As for the latter days, may our portion be in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our beauty, our best treasure, lies in having such a God to love us.
My Dear brothers and Sisters, Love is a fundamental part of God’s nature. We are able to love Him or anyone else because He first loved us. God expects us to love Him with our whole heart and from our whole soul, and from our whole mind, and from our whole strength. In fact God wants us to love Him with our whole being. God is love and He became a man, Jesus Christ. When we receive the Lord Jesus Christ We receive all that He is into our spirit. The good news for us is that we can turn our hearts to Him as He is in our spirit. God commanded us to love Him absolutely. Our Love for God actually originates from God Himself. It comes from His love within us which is higher than anything we can generate.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Have you tasted that the Lord is good? If not taste and see that the Lord is good. Feel the kindness of God in your life and His love for mankind. Evidence of God’s love is all around you in the beauty of sunshine, the kindness of a friend. Receive Christ into your life and trust Him as your Saviour. God shows His love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we are grateful to you for the Love you have displayed on the cross of Calvary. Help us to love You with all of our soul, heart, mind and strength. Teach us to love Him with pure love. May we make the Lord the treasure of our life. Let God be our exceeding joy in our life.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalm 102: 16 , “The Lord Shall Build up Zion. He shall regard the prayer of the destitute. And shall not despise their prayers.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we learn that God wants to rebuild Zion. And when the Lord builds Zion, He shall appear in His glory. God was pleased with the building up of Zion, So He wanted to manifest His glory. The Lord appears thus glorious in His work because it is a work that pleases Him. Yes, He wanted to deliver His people from bondage, for once Zion was in ruins. In rebuilding Zion and restoring the splendour of the place where He had been worshipped so long pleased Him. So, He wanted to display His true character, as a God of Glory, truth, power and goodness.
It is commonly said that the rich join with the rich while the poor go along with the poor and destitute. In other words money joins hand with someone who is rich, wealthy, and pompous in character. After all we are mortal creatures, but God is an everlasting God, the protector, of His children. When we consider our darkness, our own vileness, we have a reason to fear that our prayers will not be received in heaven. But God who is rich in mercy is always, willing to hear the cry of the poor. We have an advocate who intercedes on our behalf and answers our requests.
The Bible says, for the needy shall not always be forgotten. The expectation of the poor shall not perish. Therefore God approves the prayers of the destitute. God never neglects your request and will perform a miracle today for you. God will build a house for you. God wants to build a house and establish you. Many of you are struggling in your life without own house. You are living in rented house and often you are shifting from place to place in search of a new house. God has promised to build a house for the deprived. For He wants to be the Father to the Fatherless. “Fatherless” does not mean one without a father, but those who are suffering. They are known as Fatherless. God will meet the needs of those suffering and fatherless people. God wants to be a Father to the Fatherless, He wants to be a defender of the widows. He will bring justice to them. For the Bible says, He sets the solitary in families and brings out those who are bound into prosperity.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, God who promised David, that he would build him a house would surely build a house for you if you wait on Him. As children of God approach Him as your Abba Father, and ask Him to provide a house for you. He will fulfil the desires of your heart. He will build a house for you as He built Zion. For you are sons and daughters in Christ, therefore you are no longer slaves but a son. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we are thankful to know that You are the Father to the Fatherless. Lord we praise you because You will meet all the needs of the Fatherless, and deliver us from all bondage and lead us to prosperity. May we learn to cry up to God as Abba Father, and plead our cause. We will remain grateful to You as you hear the prayer of the destitute and not despise our prayers.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book Luke 2:30 “For My Eyes have seen Your Salvation. Which you have prepared before the face of all peoples. A Light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the Glory of Your people Israel.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that there was a man Simeon from Jerusalem, he was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon Him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit, that he would not see death before he had seen the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. So he was led into the temple by the Spirit of God. And when the parents Joseph and Mary brought in the child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, Simeon took the baby in his arms and blessed God and said, the above words, “My Eyes have seen Your Salvation. Which You have Prepared before the face of all peoples. A Light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the Glory of Your people Israel. ”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Simeon who awaited the birth of Jesus Christ says, My eyes have seen the Redeemer whom God has sent, to spread the Gospel, for the Gentiles. To give them a bright light to those who sat in darkness. Jesus was that Bright Light. Simeon derived hope and joy on seeing the infant child, ’Jesus Christ. He was so excited to see the baby Jesus and therefore declares,”My eyes have seen thy salvation. ”He saw in that infant child, the means, of deliverance for the world.” This child in his arms was the Saviour, the Salvation itself, the salvation of God’s appointing. Holding Christ in his arms he felt very comfortable. He says, how comfortable is the death of a good man, for he departs in peace, with God, peace with his own conscience.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Joseph and Mary marvelled at the things that which were spoken of. My Dear Brothers and Sisters, those of you who are looking forward to that Great Light need to receive Christ into your heart if you need that light. God wants to bring you out of darkness into that marvellous Light. Darkness refers to satan, and Light refers to God Almighty. Gods wants to give Bright Light to the gentiles. So open up your heart today, that He might enter into your heart and bring Bright Light into your life. Allow God to dwell inside of you. Then darkness will disappear, and a Bright light will emerge in your heart, Bright Light will shine all around you. God appeared as the glory of Israel in order to perform glorious things in your life. He will take you to great heights in the days to come. He will give you fame, and praise, among all the peoples of the earth. God will bring honour and glory and magnify His name through you. During this season, help others, do good to the poor and needy especially to the widows and the fatherless. For there is nothing better, than being zealous of good works, both spiritual and evangelical. God will be pleased with you and will bless you all the more. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for bringing Light into our lives and dispelling all the darkness. Help us to open our hearts and receive Jesus as our Saviour. Teach us to see Christ as the Redeemer and Deliverer of mankind from the curse and bondage of this wicked and cruel world.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of 2 Kings 3:18 , “You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain, yet that valley shall be filled with water. So that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters from the above context, we come to understand that God performed miracle for His people when they were facing a severe crisis. When king Ahab Of Israel died, Mesha, the king of Moab, rebelled against the king of Israel. Three kings namely Jehoram, Jehoshaphat, and the king of Edom went against Mesha, king of Moab. They marched on the roundabout route for seven days. At that time, there was no water, for the army nor for the animals, that followed them. So they decided to inquire of the Lord. They found the prophet Elisha, the son of Shaphat. Elisha called for a musician. And when he played, the hand of the Lord came upon him and said, “Make this valley full of ditches”. For the Lord says, “You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain, yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink. God also promised to deliver them from the hands of the Moabites.
“My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Our God is a promise keeping God. He does what He says. Next morning when they offered the grain offering, suddenly they found the water gushing by way of Edom. And the land was filled with water. When the enemies, the Moabites, saw the water gushing out over the land, they saw the water like blood shining in the bright sun light. On seeing the blood like water, they came to a conclusion, that the three kings struck one another, and were all killed. So when the Moabites came against the Israelites, Israel rose up and attacked the Moabites. The Israelites empowered the Moabites, and they entered their land, killing the Moabites. Then they destroyed their cities, they cut down all the good trees, and they stopped up all the springs of water. Therefore Mesha the king of Moab saw that the battle was too fierce, for him to face, and having failed in his attempt to seize Israel, offered his eldest son as a burnt offering and returned to their own land.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Thus we see that God punishes severely all those who come against God’s children. Goliath came against the Israelites but he was killed by David. Likewise when the king of Moab came against the people of Israel, God stood on behalf of them and protected them. Even though there was no wind or rain yet God filled the valleys, with sufficient water, so that the three kings could provide water for their army and cattle. He is a God of miracle.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God will perform miracles in your life too. Nothing is too hard for the Lord to perform. All things are possible to them that believe in His name. Jesus Christ did many mighty miracles during His times, and even mighty miracles were wrought by the hands of the apostles. God who is the same yesterday, today and forever is able to perform miracles for you even today. You too might be facing a lot of problems , may be due to your children or because of your physical ailment or due to financial deficit. You are not able to manage your family, but I tell you that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think or pray if you approach Him whole heartedly. For God will deliver the needy when he cries, the poor also and him who has no helper. God will redeem their life from oppression and violence. God will rescue you from your enemies. He remembers you in your lowly state. Trust in God. He will perfect all things concerning you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for your strong support to your children. We thank you for your eyes that move throughout the earth, to behold those whose heart is loyal to you. Teach us to put our trust in You Oh Lord. Make us to be honest in all our dealings. Because a faithful man abounds with blessing. Help us to be always reverent to you.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
