Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of 1 Kings 1:48, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who has allowed my eyes to see a successor on my throne today”. King David says these words during the last days of his life. With a grateful heart, he thanked God for anointing his son Solomon to be the King.
Today, the Lord wants to talk to you through this Biblical illustration. God says, “You will see with your own eyes that your children are being blessed”. You might be suffering from a lot of health issues and might be worried as to what may happen to your children’s life. The Lord has a blessed word for you my dear child- “You will see your children being blessed and inherit the blessings. You will see them getting settled in life in a good position”.
King David had to face a lot of battles in his life. But God did not bring an end to his life. He extended his life and blessed him to see his son being anointed as King. King David thanked God with great satisfaction. Today, the Lord will perform a miracle for you and your children. Not a word that comes out of the mouth of God will fail. The Lord will fulfill all the promises that He has made to you and your children.
Until yesterday, your children might have attended many interviews but have not made it through. You might have also tried out many methods to improve your business but might have failed. Today the Lord says, “This is the day that I am going to make you sit on the throne that I have made for you ”. The Lord is going to make your children inherit the blessings He has set aside for them.
The book of James 1:17 says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”. God says any good and perfect gift comes from the Lord. This is the day that you / your children will receive such gifts.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, You are the God of all goodness. I pray that You may break all the hindrances that have befallen Your children to receive Your blessings. I pray that You may fulfill all the promises that You have made to them. Enable Your children to inherit the throne of blessings that You have set aside for them. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Exodus, 34:10 , “Then the Lord said, I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people, I will do wonders, never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.”
Dear Brothers and Sisters from the above context, we see how God of Israel wanted to make a covenant with his people Israel who had violated the covenant by their sin. They had alliance with other foreign gods and strange people who dwelt with them. They gave their children in marriage to the idolaters, they made molten images, and caused displeasure to God.
The above context suggests that God wants to live in the midst of His children, and do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth. He dried up the rivers of Jordan, He made the walls of Jericho fall, He destroyed the great army of five kings who rose up against His children, by hailstones and performed many such wonders.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, in the same manner, God will perform wonders and miracles, for you and exalt you before those people who abused you, despised you and cursed you for no reason of yours. He will lift you up before those people, and exalt you. God will do all this in your life, as He has promised if you remain true to Him in all your ways. Him alone you shall worship. Make no idols for yourself. Never go after money or any other form of worldly pleasure.
Instead be holy , be perfect, and sanctify yourself. Then the Lord will be pleased with you and bless the work of your hand, as he has promised. God changed the plain water into sweet tasty wine. He divided the Red Sea into two and made the people of Israel pass through. He overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea. Such a God is able to perform miracles for you too. He will honor You in all your endeavors. May God help you to experience the wonders in your life.
God bless you.
Prayer : Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We realize that you are God of wonders. You have promised to do wonders in the midst of us. Help us to trust you completely and believe in your promise. Lord help us to be blameless and spotless in our life so that you can perform wonders in our midst. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Psalms 121:8, “The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.”
My dear children of God , The Bible says, that the Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in. God made man in His own image. Therefore He is mindful of you. God is mindful of us. Have you wondered what God thinks about you? The Psalmist says, Lord what is man that You are mindful of him? And the son of man that You should visit him? You have made him a little lower than the angels, and you have crowned him with glory and honour. You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet. God made man that he might glorify Him. So God is interested in the welfare of man. He cares for mankind. He is much concerned about his going out and his coming in. God wants to set man high above all nations, who obey his commandments. He says, You shall be blessed in the city and you shall be blessed in the country. You shall be blessed when you come in and you shall be blessed when you go out. Now all this is possible when you obey the voice of the Lord your God to observe carefully all the commandments.
God expects His children to rely on Him completely, because He is Ebenezer. who helps His children in times of difficulties. Ebenezer means “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”You need to trust in the faithfulness of God. You must trust Him or depend upon Him for your very existence. Humbly depending upon God gives way to labour, industry, and productivity that can change the world. God always wants to help His children. For it is written: “’He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully. So the Psalmist encourages the children to look up to God who is the provider and helper. God is our keeper. So He says, I will lift up my eyes from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.
We need to look up to the hills from where our help comes. God is willing to help us provided we look up to Him. For He is Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end. He is the first and the last. When we pin our hope on Him He will descend upon us, and help us even in the worst situation. Until today may be all things have been going wrong with you. You might have been a failure in every step you take. You might have failed in your interview, or in the business you undertake. You might have received a bad report about your health. But from this moment God is going to help you. He is going to change your sorrow into joy. As you look up to God who made the heaven and the earth God will command his angels, concerning you to guard you carefully. He will guide you in all your ways, and make you successful.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord because You take pleasure in helping your children. You send your angels as spirits to attend on your children. Help them to realize how important it is to depend upon You. May they look up to you who made the heaven and earth for their help. Make all their failures turn into success. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Deuteronomy 26:8 , “So the Lord brought us out of Egypt, with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm, with great terror, and with signs and wonders.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, From the above context we understand that our God performed great signs and wonders in the wilderness in order to bring the people of Israel from the land of Egypt. God performed marvellous things in the sight of their fathers. In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. He divided the Red sea, and caused them to pass through. And He made the waters stand up like a heap. In the daytime, he led them with a cloud. All the night with a light of fire. He split the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink in abundance like the depths.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, He also brought streams out of the rocks and made the waters to run down like rivers. He commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of heaven. And rained down manna, for the people to eat. Thus men ate angel’s food. He also rained meat on them like the dust. Feathered fowl like the sand of the dust. Thus God performed many signs and wonders among them. He sent darkness and made it dark. He turned their waters into blood and killed their fish. Their land abounded with frogs. Even in the chambers of their kings, he spoke and there came swarms of flies. And lice in all their territory. He gave them hail for rains and flaming fire. He spoke and locusts came and ate up all the vegetation. He also destroyed all the firstborn in their land.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, People in Egypt did not understand God’s wonders. They did not remember the multitude of God’s mercies. Yet God saved them for His name sake. That He might make His mighty power known. He rebuked the Red Sea, also and it dried up. So He led them through the depths as through the wilderness. He saved them from the hands of those who hated them. Thus God led them by the right hand of Moses, with a mighty hand and with an out stretched “arm, with great terror, and with signs and wonder.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God can perform wonders in your life too. He will go before you and break the barriers that stand as a blockade in showering His blessings upon you. He will make all crooked places straight and level all the mountains. He will break the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. He will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth. And feed you with the heritage of Jacob. He will fulfil the desires of your heart. He will settle you with a good job, a career, a business or grant you Visa to settle abroad. There is nothing that God cannot do for you. All things are possible to them that believe in His name. So cheer up, commit your ways unto the Lord. Trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We thank you Lord for performing many signs and wonders through which You revealed your power and glory. We realize that You are great, for You do wonders beyond numbers. Lord perform wonders in our life too, so that all people will know that we belong to you.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Numbers 12:3, “ Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we come to know the character of Moses. God testified that Moses was the meekest man found on the face of the earth. He was raised as the heir to the throne of Egypt. Though Moses grew in the house of Pharaoh but when he became of age, he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, and chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin. Moses’ parents were from the tribe of Levi, called the Hebrews. The Hebrews had been in Egypt for generations but gradually they became a threat to the people of Egyptians. So Pharaoh had enslaved them. When Moses was 25 years of age, he went about inspecting his people. There he saw the oppressive measures under which they were laboured. When he found an Egyptian taskmaster, beating a Hebrew probably to death he couldn’t control himself any longer, so when he made sure that he was not in sight he killed the tough Egyptian lord.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Moses was probably in excellent physical condition, and he knew the latest method of combat. Next time he found two Hebrews fighting. He tried to mediate their disagreement. But questions by the Hebrew men jolted him. The confidence of the deliverer turned into fear. He knew that soon Pharaoh would come to know of his action. Therefore he fled to Median. There he stayed on with Jethro, and eventually married his daughter Zipporah. While he was tending his sheep he saw a burning bush and it was here that he had an encounter with Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Even though he had been so zealous in the past to help his own people, now when he was called by God to deliver the people of Israel, he was reluctant to accept Yahweh’s call. He hesitated to accept his call because he was a stammerer. God promised to help him in his mission. God appointed his brother to be his spokesperson. Therefore he obeyed God in bringing out the people of Israel to the Promised Land “Canaan” to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Moses spent nearly 40 years in Pharaoh’s house. He learnt every form of art in combat and proved to be an expert ready to inherit the throne. But later he fled to Median and spent another 40 years, tending his uncle Jethro’s sheep. God was all the time preparing him for a greater task. God changed him from a tough man to a mild and meek person such that he could lead a stiff-necked nation out of Egypt to the land of Canaan. God looked upon the lowly and downtrodden state of the people of Israel His chosen people and delivered them.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God watches over you day in and day out. God thinks upon you even though you are poor and needy. The Lord lifts up the humble and downtrodden. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap to seat him among princes. God will raise you up and glorify you as He chose Moses and caused him to perform a greater task for God. He was a great prophet who led the people of Israel through the desert into the land of Canaan. God will lead you also and guide you if you will obey his call.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for choosing Moses the stammerer to deliver the people of Israel. Not only You chose him but also moulded him for Your good purpose. Lord mould us also that we may carry out Your task diligently. Help us to be bold and courageous to face the enemy who come against us. Teach us to be meek and mild in our nature. May we obey Your call and accomplish Your plan and purpose in our life.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
