My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 1:3, ” He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season. Whose leaf also shall not wither, And whatever he does shall prosper.”
My dear brothers and sisters, from the above verse we do understand that whatever the blessed man does God causes him to prosper. The Psalmist says, “And he shall be like a tree planted, or chosen, or considered as property cultivated and secured. But if the plant which the heavenly Father hath not planted shall be uprooted.’’ The Psalmist goes on to say, that “He is like a tree planted by the rivers of water.” This means that the water in the river never goes dry. It refers to the rivers of grace, the rivers of promise, and rivers of communion with Christ. they are never-failing sources of supply. The tree is expected to bring forth fruit in its season. The man who delights in God ’s word brings forth fruit of patience, in the time of suffering, the fruit of faith in the day of trial, and holy joy in the hour of prosperity. Fruitfulness is an essential quality of a gracious man. And that fruitfulness should be seasonable. “His leaf shall not wither’’ which means, that even his little deeds of love shall be in remembrance. He shall neither lose his beauty nor his fruitfulness.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Maybe all these days, you have been like a tree planted in dry parched land that does not bring forth fruit in its season, and all that you have done may not have been prosperous. And even the leaves from your tree might have withered and fallen off. Which means that every effort you had taken to prosper might have failed. There would not have been any fruit so far in your life. You have been an utter failure or may have been a waste until this time. But God is going to change the very course of your life. He is going to pluck you out of this dry and parched land and replant you in a very green and fertile land by the side of still waters or rivers that would never run dry and you shall be prosperous and you would bring forth fruit in your season.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Your effort in achieving your goals will never become a failure. All the work of your hands shall be prosperous. For the Lord, your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty to send rain, on your land in season and to bless the work of your hands. To prosper you need to meditate on the word of God day and night. Such people will be blessed. Then the Lord your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hands. May the Lord help you to be like a tree that brings forth fruit in its season.
God bless you
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for planting us in the fertile place and for making us be fruitful in the season. Lord, Let all our efforts be successful and help us to establish the work that God has entrusted to us. Lord bless the work of our hands. In Jesus name, we pray.
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord gave me to bless you today is from the book of Isaiah 32:4, “The fearful heart will know and understand.” Here God speaks about an important organ of the body-The heart.
About the Heart-The Lord says ‘The fearful Heart will understand’. We see many people taking quick decisions because they are hasty in their heart. They do not make wise decisions. By doing things in haste, they put themselves into trouble. Today, thus says the Lord, “You will realize what you are doing and will do things with patience.” Whatever you do, you must wait at the feet of the Lord and ask for His guidance. Do things with the guidance of the Lord and you will succeed. By doing so, you will prosper in all that your hand finds to do.
Do not be too quick in making decisions because, eventually you will put yourself into problems. Be careful of what you do. Ask the Lord for His guidance in your life.
Patience is very important in a persons’ life. Our God is a God who has lot of patience. We must also learn to be patient. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Only if you have the patience in your heart, you will be able to do things wisely. May the Lord help you to be patient and bear with one-another.
God Bless You.
Prayer:
Our Loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I pray that You may bless Your dear children. Father, help Your children to be patient. Let them not take any decision without thinking wisely. In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Luke 18:27, “Jesus Said, “ What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters , from the above context we learn that our God is known as Elshaddai, God Almighty, Lord Jehovah Jireh God who provides. He is a mighty God, He is an awesome God, with such a God, all things are possible. What is impossible with man is possible with God. Jesus once said to the rich young ruler, ‘’Sell all that you have and follow Me.” The young man went away sorrowful. Christ then turned to his disciples and said, “It is very hard for those who are rich to enter into the kingdom of God. ‘’The disciples were greatly astonished and answered, “If it is so difficult to enter the kingdom, who then can be saved? And Christ gave this blessed answer. “The things which are impossible with man is possible with God. “’ Then Jesus explains that what is impossible with man is possible with God.’’ He can enable wealthy men to walk humbly before God as Abraham did. Just as He can enable a poor man like Lazarus to do so. He is able to save to the utmost, all those who come to Him through Jesus.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, He is the God of the impossible. It is a reminder that, if it was not for God’s all prevailing goodness not one of us would be saved. But nevertheless it is necessary for us to thrust aside anything that hinders us from following God fully. God knew that in the case of this young man the problem was that he was too bound, to his possessions. God knew that unless they were removed they would ever be a burden around his neck. His heart would never be set on God. Thus he had to choose between God and mammon and he had to choose decisively.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters have you made a right choice in your life? Are you busy with the affairs of this world and all its wealth. Is your heart set on the things of this world ? The Bible says, For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil. And some while, longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves through many sorrows. Apostle Paul charges those that are rich in this world, that they may not be high minded. Nor trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. For Godliness with contentment is great gain. May the Lord give you the grace to discern for yourself that which is right and pleasing in the sight of God. We pray that the Lord help you to set your affection on things above and not on things on the earth.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord teach us not to be bound by the things of this world. Help us to make a proper decision, with regard to godliness and seek those things that are above. Let our life be hid with Christ in God. May we put off the old man with his deeds and be renewed in Christ. Help us to realise that what is impossible with man is possible with God. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 30: 26, “Give me my wives and children, for whom I have served you, and I will be on my way. You know how much work I’ve done for you.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, The above verse is spoken by Jacob to Laban, after Rachel had given birth to Joseph. In this verse we have an account of an increase. Be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth. God expects an increase in the life of every individual. Jacob at this point of time had eleven sons. Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naptali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulan, and Joseph. He makes a new bargain with Laban. And in all these years, God wonderfully blessed his service, which he did to Laban. And so his stock of cattle increased considerably.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, Here in was fulfilled the blessing with which his father, Isaac blessed him. “ God make thee fruitful and multiply thee.’’ Even small matters concerning Jacob’s house and field are useful for admonition in our life. Jacob had served Laban faithfully though he was an old man and had a large family to provide for and it was high time for him to set up his family for himself. Though Laban’s service was hard, and he had cheated him several times, yet Jacob honestly performed his engagements. Note: “ A good man though he swear to his own hurt, will not change.” He pleads his uncle Laban to let him go to his homeland. He retained his affection for the land of Canaan not only because it was the land of his nativity and his father and mother were there, whom he longed to see, but because it was the land of promise. So he had no idea of settling with his uncle in Haran.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, this teaches us to be attracted towards our heavenly place, viewing the heavenly country as our home, and longing to be there, as soon as the days of our service upon the earth are numbered and finished. We must not think of taking root here. For this is not our place or country. Jacob was desirous to go to Canaan though he had a great family to take with him and no provision yet made for them. Yet he does not solicit Laban to give him either a portion with his wives, or the maintenance of some of his children. “All his request is “Give me my wives and my children and send me away.” He was very particular to leave to his homeland”.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, Those that trust in God in his providence and promise though they have great families and small income can, cheerfully hope that God is able to feed them with sufficient meat. He who feeds the brood, of the ravens will not starve the seed of the righteous. And Laban said to him “Please stay, if I have found favour in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.’’ From this incident we learn that God blesses us when we stick on to the children of God. More over God directed the steps of Jacob. “I am the God of Bethel where you anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise get out of this land. And return to the land of your family.” Thus Jacob was therefore determined to leave with his wives and children to Canaan, his homeland.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for teaching us about the importance of our heavenly home through the story of Jacob. How he decided to return to his homeland with his wives and children. May the Lord guide us to make correct decision in our life. Help us to understand the ways of God and act accordingly.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our creator, maker and our ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given us today is from the book of Deuteronomy 32:9-10, “For the Lord’s portion is His people, Jacob His allotted inheritance. In a desert land, He found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; He guarded him as the apple of His eye”
In this portion, we see that Jacob was roaming in the desert land with no one to love and care for him. He was devastated in life. This was when God found him. The Bible tells us that after the Lord had found Jacob, He instructed and led him in the way he should go. God cared for him as the apple of His own eyes.
The bible also tells us an incident about Hagar. Hagar and her son were sent out of the house by her husband and there was no one to care for them. They were all alone in the desert. When her son was dying of thirst and hunger, God found him in the deserted land. No one came in search of her and her son. God Himself came in search of her and found her. Hagar encountered God in the desert and named Him El-Roi. “The God who sees me.”
Dearly beloved, even now, you might be thinking as to what is going to happen to your children. Today the Lord is telling “I will find them”. You might have shed tears at the feet of God regarding your children. Today the Lord says, “I have seen your tears and will give you an answer”. Do not be troubled my child, the Lord will take care of your children and will bring them back to you. Put your trust in the Lord and He will be with you.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord, you said that you have seen the tears of your children. I pray that you may answer to all their requests and keep them happy all the days of their lives. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
