Double Portion of Blessing

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Isaiah 61:7, “Instead of shame you shall have a double honour, and instead of confusion they shall receive in their portion. They shall possess double in their land. Everlasting joy shall be theirs.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that our God rewards those who are faithful in their life. For God will bless such people with a double portion of blessing. Just as the waves of the sea keep rolling forever, there will be problems, trials, tribulation, testing and affliction throughout your life time. God allows problems in the lives of every individual. Whoever it may be or however high dignitaries they might be, all will undergo problems at one point of time or other. This is because God wants us to depend upon him totally. He gives them trouble that they might seek God. Some might say that the intensity of their trouble is increasing day after day. And they are unable to bear the problems.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God says, that trouble and trials will be there but will not exceed above a particular limit. God will not trouble you more than what you can. The measuring limit is defined by God Himself; therefore He knows how much you can or cannot bear. Since it seems beyond your capacity God urges you to be strong and bold in Him to overcome the trials of your life. God therefore says, “In this world you will have tribulation, but in Me you may have Peace.” God assures that if we overcome the trials without murmuring God will give you victory. God will never allow you to be a failure because victory comes from the Lord.

Dear brothers and Sisters if you see the life of Job he says, “If a man dies shall he live again? All the days, of my hard service, I will wait. He asks, when will a change come in my life? He was a great man of faith. He believed a day of bloom will return in his life. So he waits patiently for that day. He lost his cattle, his wealth, his property, and his children. He said, God gave and now God has taken away, praise be to the name of God. Job was the richest man of his times. People bowed before him. There were many to serve him. But now God had taken away everything from him. So Job in sack cloth sat among the ashes and scraped his skin with a piece of broken pottery. Yet he believed that God is able to return back all that He had taken away from him. His faith was immovable. Therefore God returned double portion of blessing. Indeed the Lord gave twice as much as he had before. God blessed the latter part of his life more than his beginning.

My dear Brothers and Sisters, God will bless you too with double portion of blessing. Just have faith when you go through trials and tribulation.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for teaching through the life of Job how we need to have great faith in God. Not to murmur but be thankful to God even in times of hardship. Give us the strength to bear the trials that we face in our life. May we receive a double portion of blessing after a period of affliction. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Put your confidence in God

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Psalms 118:8, 9, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence, in man. It is better to put your trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that, we need to put our confidence in God rather than man or princes.  It is better in all ways, to trust in the Lord rather than man, for it is wiser.   It is much safer to trust in God. For God is more likely to help, than man. And therefore it is better to put our confidence in God rather than man.  If we rely upon mortal man, our confidence in him will be futile, but we are always secure in the hands of our God. If we trust in man it tends to make us mean and dependent but confidence in God elevates, produces a sacred quiet of spirit and sanctifies the soul. The Bible says, it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. For princes are but men and the best of men are poor creatures. In many troubles they cannot help us in the least degree for instance in sickness, bereavement, or death neither can they assist us in reference to our eternal state.

Our God is one who fills the empty space of your life. The Bible says, No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. You must therefore   set your faith upon the Lord. The only remedy to heal your children is to have   strong   faith   in God. The only person whom you can believe is Jesus Christ.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,   It is better to put your trust in the Lord than to put your confidence in man or princes. So today you bring all your problems before the Lord. Be it your husband or that of your children. Bring it to the Lord, for He cares for you. When you bring your problem before the Lord then it becomes the burden of the Lord. It becomes his responsibility to heal or to bring deliverance to your children.  A   mother once told me of how her son had been caught up in a critical situation and only when the Lord intervened the Lord solved his entire problem. God who removes the kings,   and raises up new kings and appoints judges   in favour of His children completely changed his situation and now he is a great blessing and is currently the back bone of our ministry.  Halleluiah!  Therefore cast your entire burden upon the Lord for He will sustain you. Submit yourselves in the mighty hand of the Lord and He will exalt you in due season. God Bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Help my children to cast their burden upon you and trust for your provision. You are able to exalt any one and I pray that you will exalt my children who are yearning for a blessing in their lives. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God’s Guidance

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 65: 19, “I will rejoice in Jerusalem.  And joy in My people, the voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her nor the voice of crying.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,   from the above passage we come to learn that, God loves His children and wants to protect them from the coming danger. The Lord is bringing forth a very special word for you. When a devastating incident takes place in a home, then there will be tears in the family. God never wants his children to suffer in any situation. Hence He gives assurance and counsel through His word.

My  Dear  Brothers  and Sisters,  therefore   you   need  to  claim  the promise of God  for your lives that  you  might  not get trapped in the  oncoming  disaster. God will protect you from all danger and save you. That is why the Lord is telling you today, “I will rejoice over Jerusalem, the sons and daughters of   Jerusalem.  And He will rejoice over our people.”

My dearly Beloved Brothers and Sisters the Lord is expecting certain changes in our   lives such that it will bring happiness to Him. Disasters   may come but you must come under the protection of the Lord so that you may take refuge from those disasters.  The Lord wants you to come under His wings of protection.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, As I sat in the presence of the Lord to pray for you I asked the Lord, to put a fencing around your houses. Just as God put a hedge of protection around Job, his family, his cattle and all his goods I have asked   the Lord to put a hedge of covering around your family, and all your possessions.  The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and he delivers him. The Lord who is faithful, will strengthen you and protect you. from the evil one. For no weapon formed against you will prevail and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, all who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced. All those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. Therefore cheer up my brother, be strong in the Lord  and in  His mighty power.   Put on the full armour of God so   that you can take your stand against the devil’s scheme. Be cheerful and rejoice in  the Lord always.

Prayer:

Our   loving   heavenly   Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for putting a hedge of protection around our house, family and all our goods. Thank You Lord for warning us about the oncoming   danger. Lord help us to listen to Your warning and be cautious about all that happens  around  us.  May we come under the wing of your protection. Strengthen and protect us from all harm and danger. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God Sees Your Tears

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Mark 9:23, 24 , Jesus said to him, “If you can believe all things are possible to him who believes. Immediately the father of the lad, cried out with tears, Lord I believe help my unbelief.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that the power of faith is the consequence of the power of God. We have the Lord telling that faith is omnipotent.  With God al things are possible. Faith is nothing in itself. But it is that which attaches us to God and then His power flows into us. By faith divinity flows into humanity. And we have a share even in the divine omnipotence.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, From the above context we see that a father came up to Jesus and cried out to Him about his son, who was both deaf, dumb and often throws himself down and he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. The man was in tears crying out to Jesus. Two thousand years ago Jesus went about doing good. Having heard about the miracles that Jesus had done for the people, he came with his son to Jesus.  The man expected something good might happen for his son. So Jesus said, “Bring him to Me”. So they brought him to Jesus. When he saw Him immediately the spirit convulsed him and fell on the ground and wallowed foaming at the mouth. Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him? And the father said, “From childhood he had been caught up by an evil spirit.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, therefore Jesus took pity on the young lad and, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying,  to it, “Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you come out of him and do not, enter into him anymore.” Then the spirit, cried out, convulsed him greatly   and came out of him .And he became as one dead.” Looking at him the people said, “He is dead.”But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up and he arose. He handed the young lad to his father, and sent him home happily.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Even today some of you, who are reading this message is filled with tears regarding your children. May be your children have been born with some defect and therefore you are burdened. You say, why is my child alone suffering from breathing problem, or why is my child born with poor eyesight. Or why is my child suffering from allergy? Seeing your tears and the affliction of your child the Lord has opened a spring of fountain to satisfy their needs. A touch of healing flows through the spring to heal your children. When God heard Hagar and her son crying in the wilderness, He took pity on them. God provided a spring of water and quenched the thirst of her son. God will thus satisfy your needs too.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Teach us to have faith in God. Help us to seek God’s face in times of difficulties to cry out to Him and receive His mercy. Have pity on us O Lord. May we believe that all things are possible with God.  In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Fellowship of God

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Daniel 10:10-11, “A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. He said, Daniel, you are highly esteemed.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that the hand that touched Daniel was softer and more like that of a human one. Most probably the hand of the Angel Gabriel in human form had touched him. And this caused Daniel to tremble on his hands and knees. The Angel said, “Daniel you are highly esteemed.” And when Daniel heard this, He stood up trembling. Though Daniel was not so greatly disturbed and terrified, yet he could not forbear trembling at the appearance of this angel. The Angels are employed as God’s ministering servants. The Angel said, O Daniel a man greatly beloved –a most desirable man, lovely to God and men. We hence understand through Daniel’s character that the Lord molds and models us as clay in His hands to receive His impressions.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, actually we are not fit for any great thing till we are abased and yet when we are vilest in our eyes, we are most precious in God’s sight. Similarly, when God spoke to prophet Habakkuk his body trembled. His lips quivered. At the voice, rottenness entered his bones. And he trembled within himself. This happens when we enter into communion with God. Trembling before God indicates a distance between us and the holy God. How shall we that are dust and ashes speak to the Lord of glory? Nothing is more befitting than to be assured of God’s love for us. We need to look toward God in a way of duty and then God is ready to meet us in the way of mercy. God is thus ready to hear prayer.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Daniel a noble Jewish youth of Jerusalem was taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Yet, he was true to the God of Israel.   Therefore God honored him by answering his prayer. He sent his angel to touch and assure him of God’s response to his request. His life was characterized by faith, prayer, courage, consistency, and lack of compromise. He was considered as “Greatly Beloved of God”. As a result, God gave Daniel and his friends’ knowledge, skill in all literature, and wisdom. Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Have you ever had this kind of experience in your prayer life?  If you are a child of God who spends more time in prayer, God would not only reveal Himself to you but assure you of answering your prayer request. Daniel   says while I was speaking in prayer, the angel Gabriel came up to me and said, “ I have now come forth to give the skill to understand.” Thus God will send his angel to answer you while you are still speaking. The Bible says, “Before they call I will answer, and while they are yet speaking I will hear.”

 Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Dear Lord helps us to be like Daniel a man of prayer who trembled in the presence of God. Teach us to spend more time with God in prayer.  Not to care for the things of this earth but to be spiritually oriented. Bless us like Daniel with wisdom and knowledge and may we be like Daniel a man of faith, who was considered Greatly Beloved. In Jesus’s name, we pray.

Amen.
