Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Luke 10:19, “Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions. And over all the power of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means, hurt you.”
From the above verse we understand that God has given us the power to overcome serpents and scorpions. Another reference from the Bible says, You shall tread upon the Lion and adder the young lion and the dragon shall you trample under feet. “Nothing by any means shall hurt you.” God assures that He will preserve you from danger. Even when you are attacked by bitter and malignant enemies that would seek your life, God is able to protect you. The meaning of this verse is that, Jesus would preserve you from the power of Satan and all his emissaries, from all wicked and crafty men.
In Acts 28:3-6 , we read about Apostle Paul who landed in an island called Malta . Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, “This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live.” But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects. The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead; but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god. Since God was with Paul, the viper that terrified the people living there could do no harm to Paul.
Even at this time of uncertainties, do not panic or be gripped in fear . God is with us. He is in control of every thing. He will protect us and no harm can touch us. We are covered under His precious blood. Let us not succumb to negative thoughts by hearing alarming news but let us learn to be still and see the Lord work in our life. Let us be a motivator to uplift the people who are engulfed in fear . When God is with us . Who can be against us?
The Bible says, Be not afraid, of sudden fear neither of the desolation of the wicked when it comes. Because when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. For the Lord shall be your confidence and shall keep your foot from falling. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for giving us the power to tread on serpents and scorpions. And we praise you because nothing shall by any means hurt us. Also we believe that God will protect us and preserve our lives from the power of Satan and all his hosts. Help us not to be afraid of sudden fear, but hold on to Jesus who has power to suppress all evil foes.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 107:35-37 “’He turned the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into flowing springs. There He brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city where they could, settle. They sowed fields and planted vineyards, and yielded a fruitful harvest.’
The above context is a hymn of praise which explains how the Lord has the power to change things. His authority is limitless. He can reverse the condition of anything and therefore the way of life for anybody. In this passage we see how the Lord has great power over nature. He is sovereign God and can restrain His blessings or He can give them in abundance if He so chooses. All around them the Jews saw, the harvest of hundreds of years of rebellion and ruined cities and barren fields. This was originally a land that flowed with milk and honey. It is a fact of life that wickedness brings judgement and repentance brings blessings. This barrenness and desolation that the people of Israel had to go through was a payment for neglecting the word of God. Israel had ignored the laws of God, and followed in the foolish worship of the pagans.
The Bible says, He turns the wilderness into standing water. God can change an uncultivated country like a desert into a fruitful land, as one that is well watered and cultivated.
The Bible says, God turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground, a fruitful land into springs of water. And there God allows the hungry to dwell and they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful, yield. By His blessing they multiply greatly and He does not permit their livestock to diminish or reduce, if they are brought low through oppression and sorrow, He pours His fury and anger on them and makes them to wander. But He raises up the needy out of affliction and makes their families like flocks. The upright see and are glad. Whoever is wise let him attend to these things and let him consider the steadfast love of the Lord.
Are you going through a dry and deserted life? Is there no prosperity and greenery in your business, family life or your ministry? Well God will turn your life of desert into springs of water. He will lead you beside the still waters. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. You shall be like a well watered garden, like a spring where waters never fail. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for turning our dry and deserted life into a life of prosperity and greenery. Thank You Lord for providing the word of God through which we receive words of wisdom, to deal wisely. Lord You help us to become fruitful in grace and good works.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly Beloved, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of I Corinthians 16:9 says, “A great door for effective and productive work has been opened to me”.
From the above context we understand that God has kept an open door for us. When God opens a door, no one can shut it, and when He shuts, no one can open it. When one door closes God will open another door. In one of the meetings at Kanyakumari, it was an open air meetings, God spoke through me as prophesy saying, that the IT Sectors will dwindle in the coming days, and therefore it would be safe to write bank exam or government exam, TET Exam, RRB Exam, PSCE and many such exams to be on the safer side and it will help you to secure good government jobs.
Hearing this message an elderly father cautioned his son who was working in an IT company in Chennai, to prepare for a government job. The son was quite obedient to his father and started preparing for a government, exam. He prepared so well and passed his exam. Now he has secured a good post as a gazetted officer in the Government service. Three days, later he received a notice from his company in Chennai, asking him to quit the job, saying that they would send his salary home. They did not even know that he was preparing for the government exam. He was quite surprised. But when one door was shut God had opened another door for him. This is how God works wonders for His children. God wants to fill your house with many good things.
God does not like his children to be lazy. The Bible says, He who deals with a slack hand, becomes poor. Slothfulness casts one into a deep sleep. And an idle person will suffer from hunger.
But he who keeps understanding will find good. A wise man will hear and increase in learning. And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel. Therefore I urge you to be wise and vigilant in all that you do. For a prudent man considers well his steps. Therefore in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for directing our steps. You O God instruct us and teach us in the way we should go. How awesome and great You are in Your doing. Lord You preserve the faithful. Help us to wait on the Lord and be of good courage.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Isaiah 45:14, “The Labour of Egypt, and Merchandise of Cush, And of the Sabeans, men of stature Shall come over to you and they shall be yours.”
From the above context we understand that God wants to prosper you in every aspect. Be it your business, your studies your marriage settlement, your settlement abroad and whatever your need may be. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think or pray. He is a mighty and awesome God.
Sometimes you might be facing many obstacles that prevent you to be successful in your business. When Peter went to catch fish in Galilee, he spent the whole night but he couldn’t catch any fish. Though he was an expert in fishing yet he failed to catch fish. Jesus told him to cast his net in the deep sea. Then he said to, Jesus, “Rabbi, we worked all the night and we have not caught anything. But at your word I will cast the net.’’ When God commanded he obeyed. And so he was blessed with a good catch of fish. They caught large number of fish but their nets never got torn. They needed two boats to hold the fish. This was a miracle. Peter couldn’t believe his eyes. In the same manner God will enrich your life if you obey the word of the Lord.
There may be several blockades or obstruction that prevents you from being successful. But God will help you to cross all these barriers and cause you to be successful. Your victory or success depends upon the mercy and grace of the Lord. If God blesses, your business will prosper. For the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and it causes no sorrow. You need to turn to the word of God and for God says, anyone who hears these words of mine and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. May the Lord help you to be wise. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for teaching us to obey Your word through Peter. May we seek the will of God. and try to stick to it. Bless the effort we take to be successful in our business and in everything we do. Bless the work of our hands.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Job :14:14, If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
From the above context we find that Job stopped speaking, to his friends and goes on to speak to God. He reminds himself of his own misery, and pleads it with God for some mitigation of his miseries. Job utters the above words when he was in the peak of his misery. This shows that when calamity strikes one’s life, it destroys all his hopes. Job was left in the dark to face the agony of life. Job was once a wealthy man, he was the greatest of all the people of the East. Since he was a rich man, he was respected by all now that he was in a fallen state; he was disregarded and disrespected by his neighbours, friends and servants too. Yet Job says, “God will not cast away the blameless. Job had adamant faith in God”. Therefore he had a ray of hope.
Job knew that God will be merciful to him and consider his cause. He was willing to wait on the Lord. He believed that God does great things and unsearchable, marvellous things without number. He knew that if he was pure and upright God would arise and do marvellous things for him as in the days of his prosperity. He was certain that God would surely bless the latter part of his life. So he waited patiently for the appointed time, as to when his affliction would come to end. Even though he suffered miserably he had great faith in God. He believed that his hope will not be lost. He knew that good days would dawn in his life that’s why he says, “Though He slay me yet I will trust in Him. He goes on to say, “ I know that My Redeemer lives.”Job knows that God does not withdraw his eyes from the righteous. God honoured his faith and therefore the Bible says, “God blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning.” And Job therefore says, Lord, you can do everything, and no purpose of yours can be withheld from you.
Are you struggling like Job, in your life ? Have you grown very frustrated in your life ? You might be going through a court case or a divorce case or a serious problem in your life. You too like Job must be thinking as to when these problems would come to an end. Wait on the Lord He will surely deliver you from your problem by His righteous right hand. Your problems will soon come to an end. Surely there is a hereafter. And your hope will not be cut off. You shall see no more disaster. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Help us to have adamant faith like Job. Teach us to endure patiently the problems that we go through. Remove the yoke of burden thrust upon our shoulder and relieve us from all grief and pain. Help us to see better days in our life.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
