My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Isaiah 51:3 For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places. He will make her wilderness like Eden. And her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in it. Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.”
From the above context we understand that our God is a God of comfort and wants to comfort you with His word. He will comfort all your waste and ruined places of your life and change your life of wilderness like a garden of Eden a fertile and fruitful plantation.
God wants you to share your sorrows with the Lord. Because only He can solve your problem. The Bible says, “Until now you have asked nothing, in My name. Ask and you will receive that your joy may be full.” He is a God who fills the empty space of your life. There was a widow in the Bible whose life was almost dry like the wilderness. She was the wife of a prophet. He had served the Lord very diligently but unfortunately he died, leaving behind his wife and two sons in huge debts. And the creditor had come to take away her two sons as slaves to work in the farm yard. Firstly she was a widow, secondly her two sons were all her wealth that she had. How could she part her sons away from her, as slaves? So she ran to the Prophet, Elisha, and told him of all her struggles and her problems.
Elisha said to her what shall I do for you? Tell me what do you have in your house? And she said, “Your maid servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.” Then he said, go borrow vessels, from everywhere, from all your neighbours. –empty vessels. As many as you can. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door, behind you and your sons, then pour, it into all those vessel, and set aside all those full ones. So she went and did as she was instructed by Elisha. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, she asked her son to get another vessel. But he said, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil in the jar stopped flowing. Then she went and told Elisha all that she had done. He said to her “ Sell the oil and pay all your debts, and you and your sons live on the rest. ”
Thus she shared her problem to the man of God, as a result he advised her how to manage her financial situation and therefore she paid her debts and her sons were safe and secure. God delivered her from the cruel hands of the creditors. You too must share your problems with God, only then He can help you. He says, Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Again He says, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you and you shall glorify Me.
The Bible says, “ A joyful heart shall do good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” Elisha showed kindness to the widow at the right time. He never hurt her or despised her as people commonly do when they come across a poor widow like her. His comforting words encouraged her to obey him and so she and her children were blessed. She proved to be a wise woman.
There are many mothers and even fathers who are reading this message with much sorrow and grief regarding their children. They are worried about their education about their future and their settlement. Today it seems so difficult to bring up children. Because they are exposed to a lot of unnecessary things. The face book, instagram, you tube, twitter, and many more such things. As a result their mind is distracted. Very few children are obedient to their parents in this current scenario, because there is no proper understanding about parents and their own children. They never sit together to sort out their problems. Hence many parents are grief stricken and children are a burden to parents. But the widow set a good example, her sons were obedient to her. They went out to the neighbours and collected all the empty vessels as many as possible. And shut the door behind them and helped the mother to pour the oil in all the empty vessels. Therefore they were blessed.
God changed their wilderness or desert like situation into that of a fertile garden, and also brought gladness into their hearts. Joy and gladness was found in their house. There was Thanksgiving and the voice of melody just as God promised in His word mentioned above. God will also bring gladness into your house if you humble yourselves before the mighty God. The Bible says, “ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for comforting us through your Word. We thank You for Elisha who helped the widow and her sons in times of adversity. Likewise we pray that You will help us also during times of trouble and distress. Help us to grow our children rightly in the ways of God. Help us to humble ourselves, in the mighty hand of God, that God might exalt us in His time.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of 2 Chronicles 20:20, “Believe in the Lord, your God, and you shall be established. Believe His prophets and you shall prosper.”
From the above context we understand that the prophets play an important role in the lives of many Children of God. The Bible speaks of many prophets.
There was a man from the mountains of Ephraim. His name was Micah. He had eleven hundred shekels of silver. His mother dedicated the silver to the Lord, on behalf, of her son, She wanted to make a carved image, and a moulded image, and they were kept in the house of Micah. In those days, there was no king, in Israel, so everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
At this point of time, there was a young man from Bethlehem in Judah. He was a Levite. He came to the house of Micah as he journeyed. Micah inquired all about his whereabouts, and learnt that he was the right person to perform rituals in his shrine. So Micah requested him to dwell with him and be a father and a priest and take care of his shrine, and house hold idols. The Levite agreed to stay with him and so Micah consecrated him made an Ephod and also agreed to pay ten shekels of silver per year.
The Danites were one of the 12 sons of Israel. They were seeking for an inheritance for themselves to dwell in. For until that day, their inheritance among the tribes of Israel, had not fallen to them. So the children of Dan sent five men to spy the land, and they came, to the house of Micah, and found the Levite ( the priest and prophet) who dwelt with Micah. They consulted with him about their journey. They said to him “ Please inquire of God that we may know whether, the journey on which we go will be prosperous. ” And the priest said to them, “ Go in peace, The presence of the Lord, be with you on your way. ”So the five men departed and went to Laish.
Are you in a confused state like the Danites ? Are you still looking for a passage to go abroad. Or .do you still have doubt regarding your settlement in a foreign country? What is your problem? Look to God in Prayer. Seek His face. He will solve your problems. Just as God spoke to the tribe of Dan through the Prophet, God will speak to you through the Holy Spirit and direct your ways. The Danites went to the city of Laish and the people there helped them with all necessary things they needed to settle in that new land. The Danites found the Land safe and secure and peaceful. Later they over took the city of Laish and called the city of Laish, after the name of Dan, their Father, the son of Israel.
Similarly many approach me believing that when I inquire to the Lord regarding their problems, the Lord God who hears the prayer of all flesh will give them an answer. Many who were jobless have secured good jobs with high salary, through my intercession. For some God provided Visa to go abroad and settle in their desired haven. Many who approached me regarding their pending cases, were solved amicably and justice was shown or given to them. Families who were separated for many years were reunited by the grace of God, Many who did not have the gift of a child, were blessed with children, God opened their closed wombs and helped them conceive and bring forth children. Many such intricate problems like deliverance from evil spirit and healing from severe diseases were restored and cured, when I stood in the gap and prayed for those who came to me in tears, God wiped away their tears and turned their mourning into dancing. He put off their sack cloth and covered them with garment of gladness. May God’s name alone be glorified. I therefore urge you to honour the prophets and pray for them and their children, since they serve the Lord for the expansion of Gods Kingdom. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for appointing Prophets. So that they can intercede on our behalf and help to solve our problems. Bless them and their families. We see them as representatives of God. May they serve according to Your will more powerfully and strengthen them and enrich them for the glory of God.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Genesis 46:2,3. “And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, “Jacob! Jacob!” “Here I am,” he replied. “I am God, the God of your father,” he said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.”
From the above context we learn that Jacob an old man was taking his journey and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. He was rather confused, whether to listen to his sons and move to Egypt or remain in Canaan. Because his sons had told him 13 years ago, that his beloved son, Joseph was dead, and that they had found his coat of many colours stained with blood. They had showed the coat stained with blood, to him and it was therefore confirmed that some wild animal must have killed him. Now after many years the same sons who told that Joseph was dead, now told him that Joseph was alive and was well placed in that nation of Egypt. There was a great famine in the land, so Jacob’s sons had gone to Egypt to buy grain. There they found Joseph in a very high position. placed as the Governor of Egypt. So they told their old father the good news that Joseph was alive and that he held a high post in that strange land, and had sent his chariots to bring his father Jacob to Egypt. But He was so confused in his mind. For he couldn’t believe his ears.
In order to confirm the fact that God was with Jacob He came to him directly and spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there. I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again. More than 40 years before, when Jacob was about to leave the Promised Land, God spoke to him in a dream Now, when he was about to leave the land again, God again brought assurance through a dream “Do not fear to go down to Egypt:”’ As Israel was connected with what God did in the past he was assured of God’s plan for the future.
Being confident now he responded to God’s command and went along with his sons to Egypt where he was to experience great happenings, the joy of seeing his beloved son, Joseph whom he thought he would never, ever see, and also be blessed to establish his entire family in the land of Goshen, land of green pastures, as they were herds men. God told Israel what His purpose was in bringing this large family or clan down to Egypt. Israel’s descendants could grow as a large, distinct nation there. : The great reason Jacob did not need to fear the journey to Egypt was that God promised to bring him back to the Promised Land. God conveyed good news to him. All the bad news that he had heard all these years about his son came to an end.
God will bring good news to you also. So “ Never hesitate, to respond to the voice of God. while you are not sure that it is God’s will; but when once you are certain that it is according to the Lord’s mind, then you need not have any kind of fear. Go straight ahead, for that way lies your haven.” God is putting an end to all your confusion and doubts, on this day through this message. He is also bringing an end to all the bad news that you had been hearing about you and your children and instead God will help you hear good news. in future. He is reuniting many separated families, like that of Joseph and Jacob after many long years. The Bible says,” In all thy ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your ways.”But as it is written , “For eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the hearts of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. What God did for Jacob was Amazing. He will do the same for you too. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for directing Jacob through vision. You assured him of his journey to Egypt. Reveal your ways unto us also that we might follow your steps with discretion. Help us to respond to the voice of God and be blessed like Jacob.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Lamentation 3:22,23, “Through the Lords Mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great Is Your faithfulness”.
From the above context we understand that it is because of God’s grace that we are not consumed. We are alive. We live because of His grace. From the above verse we learn about God’s unfailing love. We see how Prophet Jeremiah’s thoughts are about God. God changes despair to hope when he thinks that, even in the darkest times, God is faithful and will not cast off His people forever. Every day, every morning, God shows His mercy and compassion.
Firstly the Lord’s “great love” abides even in times of trouble and divine judgment. Secondly God’s unfailing compassion is God’s withholding of a just punishment. The Bible says, Lord has pity on His suffering children; in fact, His mercies are new every morning. Jeremiah’s statement that God’s mercies are “new every morning” is related to the statement that follows: “Great is your faithfulness” God is unchanging, and His mercies toward Israel were unfaltering.
We thus realize that we are not consumed because of God’s grace. Satan is always trying all his efforts to destroy our peace joy and harmony in life. He is trying for an opportunity to destroy us completely. But the Lord has preserved our lives from his wicked schemes. The Bible says, the thief (Satan) does not come except to steal and to kill, and to destroy, but God came into this world to give us life and that we may have life, more abundantly. Satan does not want us to live in peace. He keeps creating new problems each day for us that we might fall and perish.
Satan has several plans to destroy us and He keeps implementing them upon us that we may fall into his snare. But God on the other hand is protecting us by His grace and mercy, from all the wicked plans of Satan. We see many who started off with us in the beginning of this year are no more with us. But if we are still alive, it is because of God’s sheer grace. It is God’s compassion that has preserved our lives. God wants to destroy all the evil works of Satan, and rescue us from His cruel hands.
We battle each day, with the works of the evil spirit on one side and the evil schemes and plans of our own kith and kin, Our friends and relatives who pretend to be so good on the outside, but keep working against us to see our fall. They are constantly working against us. They don’t like us doing well in our life like the Satan. They spurn us at times and cause wounds and hurt that remains as scars in our hearts and this damages our spirit and prevents our progress in our life. They indirectly work against us or hinder the progress of our children. They remain as invisible foes all through the course of our life. We are compelled to live in the midst of these foes throughout our lives. But we never ever realize that we are surrounded by foes. We are supposed to live and sustain ourselves in the midst of these people. But the Lord through His Mercies has not consumed us, for His compassions fail not. They are new every morning and Great Is His faithfulness.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. So don’t be afraid to face the challenges that confront you in life. Be bold in the Lord, Rejoice in the Lord always. Thank Him even in times of difficulty and He will change your sorrow into joy. He will change your shame into honour. He will comfort you and increase you on every side. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You, for Your compassion that fail not and your Mercy which is new every morning. Thank You Lord for protecting us from the cruel hands of Satan and also from the wicked schemes that work against our progress in our life by our own friends and relatives. Keep us, as the apple of Your eye. May we enjoy the favour and assurance of God each day in our life.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed that God has given you for today is from the book of Psalms 33:9, ” For He spoke, and it was done. He commanded , and it stood fast”. Our God is a miracle–working God.When God steps in, there will be a miracle in your life and you will stand . Words written in the Bible have life and spirit of power in them. When people share their problems with me during the counselling session, I give them simple word from the Bible and they take hold of the word that not only restores them but also performs miracle in their life.
Here is an illustration of how Jesus performed a miracle in order to avert the shame of that family. Once Jesus and His disciples were invited for the wedding at Cana -in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was also there. Jesus went to the wedding to bless the couple. And when the family ran out of wine the mother of Jesus reported the matter to Jesus with the hope that He would do something good for the family. Because in those days it was considered a great shame if the wine was not served at the wedding. The family was about to go through shame but Jesus performed a miracle in order to avert the shame that had come upon the family. He ordered the servants to set up six water pots of stone. Then Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.”And they filled them up to the brim. Then Jesus said to them, Draw some water out now and take it to the master of the feast.
When the master had tasted the water that was made wine. He called the bridegroom and said to him, ‘Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.’ He did not know that Jesus had turned the water into nice tasty wine. (But the servants who had drawn the water knew). Jesus used words to perform a miracle. Such words remove shame in the life of the people and renew their life. Firstly He said “Fill the water pots with water.” Secondly He said, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”There was power in His word. When the servants served the water it turned into good and tasty wine. The water became tasty by the power of God’s word. That was sweeter than honey. The power of His words changed the very situation of that family. God gave them good name instead of their shame. There was great rejoicing in their family.
Today are you in troubled situation. Do not be worried. God will change your situation and there will be a great rejoicing in your life .
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You, for Your word that does wonders. You are a God of power and authority. Please help all those who are in trouble and are calling out to You for help. Change their shameful situation. Grant them joy and true happiness. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
