My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Zachariah 4:6 says, “Not by might, nor by Power, but by my Spirit says, the Lord.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above verse we understand that we cannot achieve anything by our own effort. Rather we need the grace and mercy of God to achieve anything in our life. The Bible says, God gives wisdom and knowledge, and joy to a man who is good in His sight. This indicates that we need to be good in God’s sight to be blessed. Moreover it is not by your might nor by your power that you can achieve anything but by the Spirit of the Lord, says the word of God. You should never say or think in your heart, that you are an achiever just because of your wisdom, your knowledge, your education, your talents, or your hard work. Please come out of these narrow selfish thoughts. God’s children should never drift away into such pride. You should always say, this is not because of my effort, but by the divine grace of God.
The Bible says, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. The Bible says, “They never say in your heart, My power, and the might of my hand, have gained me this wealth. And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to gain wealth.” Often we see that the moment one secures a job, he forgets God. He stops coming to church. When questioned he says, he has
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Teach us to understand that every good gift is from God. Help us not
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 8:17,18, “Then you say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth. And You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth. That He may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers as it is this day.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above verse we come to understand that it is God who gives you strength and opens new door to obtain your lively hood. And you dont achieve anything through your own effort. We always think that earnings mean money alone. This is not true. When you earn appreciation from others for your good performance then it is a kind of income that you have achieved. Some children behave so well that it earns the appreciation of others then we say the child has earned reputation. Because he does not cry or trouble anyone. Brilliant children score good marks, that is a kind of income that he earned. It is God who loads us with benefits or talents. So all the credit goes to the Lord. The Bible says, Blessed be the Lord who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God wants you to earn name and fame. God says, I will appoint them for praise and fame among all the peoples of the earth. He is interested in lifting you up in life. He does not want you to live a base and low profile life. He is a God who raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap in order to set them among princes, and make them inherit the throne of glory. You need to earn name and fame, wealth and family , good friends and good relationship all the good gifts and above all, we need to earn for the kingdom of God.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God is going to bless you like that of a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth fruit in its season. God will help you to be fruitful, according to your age, strength and potential. Therefore keep praising the Lord because, all that you have achieved is because of Gods grace. For God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in good work. For grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christs gifts. It is through our Lord Jesus Christ, that we have obtained grace in which we stand and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord You are the Sun and the Shield. Lord You have bestowed upon us favour and honour. No good thing have you withheld from those who walk uprightly. Lord fill us with grace and power that we may perform wonders and signs among the people.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of John 6: 35,” Then Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger. And He who believes in me shall never thirst”.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that Jesus Christ was called the Bread of Life because He gives life to the dead. Men by nature are dead in sin and trespasses and this leads one to death. Only the Living Bread ( Jesus Christ ) can give life to the dead. A believer does not have the power to support his own spiritual life. He can live only through Christ. Because Christ has enough spiritual food to fill those who come to him. So whoever comes to Him shall not hunger as His divine teachings and gracious words are sufficient to fill one’s hunger and quench his thirst.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters “Hunger” refers to your needs. God is going to meet all your needs today. All unfulfilled desires will be fulfilled today. God knows your needs. The Bible says the Lord fulfills the desire of those who fear Him. Some of you are disheartened because you do not have a steady income. Therefore you are not able to manage your family. God will open a new way for you. Since Jesus is the Bread of life, He will surely satisfy your longing soul.
God also says, “Whoever believes in Me will never thirst.” We see that once Jesus Himself was thirsty and so He was waiting at the well for someone to offer him water. The Samaritan woman who came there to draw water was surprised to see Jesus at the well. Jesus asked her for some water. She said to Him, “Sir you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. So Jesus replied to her saying, “If you would have asked for water, then you would have received living water. ’’ He further said, “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.” The woman asked Jesus for the living water so that she would not thirst again.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Thus we see, that the Lord is willing to give you the living water so that you may thirst no more. The more you read, God’s word and meditate upon it day and night, then you will be filled with the living water. And you will never thirst again.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, we thank you because You satisfy our hunger and quench our thirst. Fill us Lord with Your Living Water. Help us to be filled with the word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. O Lord, Teach us to draw closer to You. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Jeremiah 30:6, “It says, Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale. Alas for that day is great, So that none is like it. And it is the time of Jacobs’s trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that the delivery pain of a woman is momentary, whereas men suffer a lifetime struggle to manage their family. Jeremiah points out, that men go through greater pain than the labor pain of a woman. And his face grows very pale, because of the misery and tribulation he goes through, due to the burden of his family.
In case you are going through a period of tribulation I like to remind you the words of Jeremiah who speaks, about Jacob saying that Jacob shall return, have rest and be quiet. And no one shall make him afraid.
It was a time when Jacob had to go through a tough period of time. But Prophet Jeremiah assures that Jacob shall be saved out of it. Because God will break his yoke from his neck and burst his bonds and strangers shall no longer subdue or oppress him any further. Just as the labor pain of a woman is very sharp and when the pain is over it is quickly forgotten. So will the time of tribulation be which will last for a short time and the joy and happy times will follow as soon as the pain has been forgotten.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, In case you are going through a period of tribulation then do remember that the short duration of affliction will pass away and good and happy moments will dawn in your life. God will put an end to all your crisis and then you will experience a time of rest. And no one shall make you afraid. All the struggles in your life regarding your debts, loss in business or shame due to family dispute, will all come to an end. No enemies will trouble you any longer. Only God will put an end to all your crisis, Therefore surrender your life like Jacob who said, to God, “ Lord I will not let You go unless You bless me.”Then you will experience a life of blessing. You might have started your life with just a staff in your hand but the Lord will enrich you with two companies of blessings. Your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We thank You, Lord, for providing rest after we have endured a period of tribulation and trials. Master, we thank You for granting us blessings and helping us to come out of all our crises. May we realize Your greatness and hold on to You as Jacob. Cause us to see better days, according to the days, wherein we have been afflicted. In Jesus name, we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Job 42:12, “Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job, more than his beginning. “
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above verse we understand that all blessings are of the Lord. Temporal and spiritual, and sometimes the last days, of a good man are his best as were that of David and Job.
Though this is not always the case, and if their last days, are but the best, in spiritual things that is enough. If they have more faith, hope, love, patience humility and self-denial, and are more fruitful, in every good work then they are like the best wine that is reserved till last. Job was one such person, who feared God and shunned evil. He was rich and wealthy. God considered Job as an upright man and so allowed satan, to test Job to prove his righteousness. One day it so happened that Job lost all that he had, his cattle, animals, wealth and also his ten children.
A terrible tragedy struck Job like thunder. Yet in all this, Job did not sin with his lips. He simply said, “’ The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord’’. Though his wife rebuked him asked him too curse God and die, Job simply said to his wife, “’Shall we accept good from God and shall we not accept adversity? Job knew the power and authority of God. He knew that God gives life to the dead, and calls those things which do not exist as though they did. Hence Job patiently waited for the Lord to bring about a great change and since he waited patiently the Lord blessed him with a double portion of blessing.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, therefore if you too like Job would patiently wait on the Lord, you shall receive a double portion of blessing from the Lord. If you realize that God takes you through tribulation in order that you draw closer to Him then your sorrow will turn to joy. For the Lord disciplines those whom He loves. So, my dear Brothers and Sisters, it is better to repent of your sins, and submit yourselves to God rather than murmur or rebuke God in anger.
My dear Brothers and Sisters, then God will restore double to you. He will change your curse into a blessing, and make your mourning into dancing. You will experience a greater blessing from God when you have stood the test and you will come out like gold. God knows the way you take.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for helping us to realize that You discipline all those whom you love. Teach us to wait on you patiently until you change our crucial situation. Grant us the wisdom and knowledge to endure affliction so that we might receive a double portion of blessing. In Jesus name, we pray.
Amen.
