My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book, Luke 10:42 “But one thing is needful; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”
Once when Jesus went to Bethany Martha demonstrated hospitality by welcoming Jesus into her home. She then kept herself busy with her task of serving her guest. Maybe she was preparing a meal in her home for her family. In the
Martha was distracted by many tasks. And therefore she asks Jesus, “Lord do you not care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself? Tell her then to help me.” Many may empathize with Martha’s resentment of her sister for leaving her to do all the work. But Jesus responded to Martha, saying “Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things, there is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part which will not be taken away from her. “
The Problem with Martha is not that she was busy serving and providing hospitality but she was worried and distracted about many things of this world. Martha’s worry and distraction prevented her from being truly present with Jesus. Martha had missed out on the “one thing needed” for true hospitality. There is no greater hospitality than listening to your guest Jesus. So Jesus says, that Mary has chosen the better part which will not be taken away from her.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, are you worried over things of this Earth. Or have you set your mind on Jesus? Learn to spend time at the feet of Jesus. Through prayer, Bible reading, and singing. Jesus Himself had said, that Mary had chosen that good part which would not be taken away from her. Mary did not care about the things of this world. She was more attracted to Jesus. If we abide in Him, He will abide in us. The Bible says He who is of God hears God’s word. And if anyone keeps Gods word he shall live forever. So if you seek God you shall be richly blessed.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord May we have the desire to sit at your feet, and not in the counsel of the ungodly. Nor shall we stand in the way of sinners. But help us to delight in the law of the Lord. Teach us not to set our heart in the things of this world, but in the things of God. So that we may prosper in all that we do. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given us today is from the book of Hosea 12:4, “He struggled with the angel and overcame him; he wept and begged for His favor. He found him at Bethel and talked with him there”. BETHEL was the place where God met Jacob and spoke to him. The Lord who met Jacob, is going to meet you today through His word. Jesus is looking at each of you individually. He is examining each of your needs and is speaking to you right now.
Jacob was the one, who received the blessings of his parents and without any capital, he decided to begin his life. When there came a time he had to earn, his parents called him and blessed him whole heartedly. They sent him to his uncles’ place and told him to work there. His parents submitted him into the hands of God. As he obeyed the words of his parents and went, God blessed Jacob with a step-by-step increment in his salary for ten times. Later, he got an opportunity to partner with his uncle as a working partner. His boss was his uncle but his capital was his hard work. God blessed Jacob several times.
After many years, when Jacob returned home, his heart was full of fear. Jacob and his brother had a fight and that was why he left home. Jacob feared that, the enmity his brother had against him might bring danger to him and his family. That night, Jacob battled with the Lord in prayer and asked His favor and blessings. The Lord blessed Jacob and everything went well.
Likewise, God expects the same kind of prayer life from you. Many of you reading this might be crying that, you are not getting any increment in your salary. Today, the Lord says that, He is going to bless you with double and triple increment in your salary. God is telling you that, all that you need is the wholehearted blessings of your parents. Believe it and receive it. Share all your problems with Jesus and He will open a way for you.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I pray that You may bless Your dear children. Father, teach them to share their problems with You so that You will be able to give them a solution. Give them Your blessings today Lord. Enable them to experience the sweet communion with You. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of 3:6, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters , Many men of God, feel that the above words were directed to King Hezekiah. But it was referred to the latter times of Christ when people shall run to and fro and the knowledge of them shall be increased. This even refers to the great increase of spiritual wisdom and knowledge. By which there would be times of peace, joy, and comfort. The Lord will be the strength of salvation , He shall be wisdom and knowledge. The fear of the Lord was the treasure of King Hezekiah. He esteemed the fear of the Lord above all his treasure and was more zealous in settling and establishing the true Worship of God than in amassing treasure to himself. He considered the treasures of the Lord namely wisdom, knowledge, and true grace as the best of riches. According to King Solomon, to know wisdom, instruction, and to perceive the words of understanding, gives prudence to the simple. And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. The Bible clearly says, that those who by faith humbly wait for God shall find Him gracious to them. He would be their strength. But if God leaves us to ourselves any morning, we are undone. So we must every morning commit ourselves to Him and go forth in His strength to do the work of the day. When God arises, his enemies are scattered. True wisdom and knowledge lead to strength of salvation which makes us steadfast in the ways of God. God’s time to appear for his people is when all other helpers fail. God’s time to appear for his people is when all other helpers fail. Let all who hear what God has done, acknowledge that he can do everything.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters God will establish these blessings in your lives also. I know of many parents who cry over their children as they have fallen back in their behaviour. May be, their spiritual activities has changed. Today God is wanting to give such children the experience of complete salvation and wants to draw them back to his fold. God is willing to fill your children with His divine wisdom and knowledge. The Bible says, God filled Bezalel with the spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.
Dear Brothers and Sisters today God is willing to bless you with these gifts, especially to those who fear Him. Therefore submit yourselves to God with fear. Bring an end to the days, when you made decisions on your own. May God help you to be true to your conscience. Do good to others, speak words of faith and blessing.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for reminding us the importance of obtaining wisdom, knowledge and understanding from God. We plead you Lord to bless our children with renewed thought and mindset. Help us to receive the strength of your salvation.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Numbers 23:21, “The Lord His God is with him and the shout of a king is among them.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we understand that the people of Israel did commit sin. But God had no intention to punish them. Instead He forgave them of their sinful nature. In fact God hid His face from sin. God blotted out all their transgressions and has cast them behind His back and into the depths of the sea. The Lord was pleased with them as they did not worship the idols. And this restricted God from cursing the people of Israel.
The Lord was with Baalam the prophet. Though King Balak invited Prophet Balaam to curse the people of Israel, The Lord intervened, and changed the heart of Balaam and he obeyed God. As a result God made Balaam to bless the twelve tribes of Israel. He remembered how, God brought them out of Egypt in a marvellous manner and strengthened them like a wild ox. Balaam realized that the God of Israel was in the midst of them. “The Lord God was with Balaam and the shout of the King was felt among them. ”God changed their curse into a blessing.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, If the King who was in the midst of Israel comes into your homes then all your sorrows , your grief, pain, sickness and woes will be driven away from your homes. Today the King wants to visit your homes. Are you willing to receive Him? If you receive Him who is the king of kings and the Lord of Lords then there will be a great transformation in your lives. Experience the Presence of God in your lives. You will enjoy peace and harmony.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You for being in the midst of us and operating our lives in the way You have planned it to be. Lord intervene in our lives and change our curse into a blessing. Help us to do the will of God and not be self oriented. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from Psalm 84:1, “How lovely is your Tabernacle. O Lord of hosts! Even your altars, O Lord of Hosts, My King and My God”.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters , we see how the psalmist David, says, How lovely is your tabernacle! David actually seemed to have written this psalm when he was forced by his son Absalom’s rebellion to quit the city. And David lamented over his absence from the city as it spoiled the harmony of his communion with God. Divine worship were performed in the tabernacle as it was the dwelling place of God. The Holy of Holies, the holy place, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters , today we see a mad rush after lovely things of this world. But the Psalmist says, “How lovely is Your tabernacle.! Yes when such people who go after the things of this world suddenly get entangled with the snare of this world. At such times people approach the holy tabernacle. The only place that can solve ones problem. If there is a place of refuge for the sick and the diseased then it is the tabernacle. David was left alone feels so distressed . Sometimes we are left alone to face the challenges in life. You too might be facing similar situation in your life. You might have been rejected by everyone. And therefore you are looking out for a city of refuge. Then I earnestly request you to approach the tabernacle. If one approaches the tabernacle he will experience the goodness of God in his life. Never forget that God is in control of your life. He will lift you up from the miry clay and set your feet upon the rock. He will put a new song in your mouth and all your crooked ways, shall be straightened.
God will raise you out of your lowly position and lift you out of the ash heap and enable you to sit along with the princes. This indicates that God will elevate your position to a better status in life. Therefore don’t lose your hope in God. He is a God who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which do not exist as though they did. Believe in this God and you will find a great change in your life.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for revealing to us the greatness of the tabernacle of God. Help us to approach the tabernacle when we are in trouble. May we experience the holiness of Your Sanctuary, Revive our hearts, mind and soul. Teach us to experience the relationship with God and commune with Him each day of our life. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
