My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Deuteronomy 11:14, “I will send rain on your land, in its season, “the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock that you may eat, and be filled.”
My dear Brothers and Sisters we understand from the above context that God will give you the rain over your land in order to make it fruitful, at the proper time. The above verse indicates that rain falls, in due season, to water the seed, that it might take root, and grow and spring up. The rain falls, before harvest, to ripen the corn and make them yield more and more. The Bible says, Be glad then you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God. For He has given you the former rain faithfully. And He will cause the rain to come down for you. Then your threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall over flow, with new wine and oil.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters when the sight of the Lord falls upon a person, firstly the Lord will renew and bloom their financial status that seems to be dead. The Lord will bring them out of that shame. Hallelujah! The Lord will pour out a blessed rain upon your business in due season, in order that you might gather your grain, new wine and olive oil. That due season may be this year, 2019 that the Lord has crowned for you. The Lord who will crown this year, with His goodness will bring an end to all your poverty and failures. And once again your business will spring forth and hence the Lord is pouring out His words upon you. The Lord is pouring out His Holy Spirit upon you. And you shall grow prosperous. The Lord says, In due season, in order that God might lift you up, you need to humble yourself, in the mighty hands of the Lord. That good season has come now. Hence Receive the Blessing of the Lord. You don’t need any one else to lift you up. God himself will lift you up. So do not worry. Be cheerful in the Lord.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we pray that You will establish the work of your hands. Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. Return O Lord and have compassion on your servants. Let our barns be filled with plenty and our vats to overflow with new wine. Lord bless us according to your mercy. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Daniel 3:17, 18,” If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace. And He will deliver us from your hand. But if not, let it be known to you O king that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up”.
The above context is about the three friends of Daniel namely Shad rack, Meshach and Abed –Nego. These three men were determined to serve the living God. They refused to bow before the golden image which king Nebuchadnezzar, had set up. They were clear about their calling. They knew the purpose of God’s calling in their lives. So they boldly challenged the king of Babylon. Though the king increased the heat of the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated they still refused to bow before the golden image. That was their determination for God. As a result the king commanded the mighty men to cast them into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. So they were bound and thrown into the midst of the fire. The king was astonished to see four men loose walking in the midst of the fire and they were not burnt. The fire had no power over their bodies. The hair of their head was not burnt, nor their garments affected, and the smell of the fire was not on them. The king was surprised to see these three men strolling about, in the midst of fire alive. He strongly believed that there was no other God, who can deliver like this. So he promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abed- Nego in the province. This is how God exalts His people. In a moment they were upgraded. Life was transformed.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, God can transform your life too if you will submit yourself to the Lord, like these three men who knew their calling and were firm in their decision. They had great faith in the God whom they served. I am sure God has a purpose for you in your life. You have been called to do something special in life. For He who is called you is faithful. You need to know the definite will of God. You should know why God has called you for. Where there is no guidance the people fall. But in abundance of counselors there is victory. You need to heed to the voice of God. Be firm in your calling. If you need to be healthy , wealthy, and lead a contented life, then you need to cling on to Jesus, who is the author and finisher of your faith. When you are firm about your calling then you can avert from being fallen. Whether it is your education, business, job undertaking or marriage settlement, seek Gods counseling. Then you shall be successful.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for instilling an urge to remain true to You in our life. To seek Your counselling in all that we do. Lord reveal your plan and purpose for me in my life. Help us to be like the three friends of Daniel who stood the test, and rose victoriously to greater heights. In Jesus Name we pray.
Amen.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 40:29, ” He gives power to the weak. And to those who have no might, He increases strength”.
My dear Brothers and Sisters , from the above context we understand that there are many who faint because of afflictions. Maybe they do not have immediate deliverance, or their prayers are not answered at once. And their promises may not be fulfilled as they expected. To such people who are depressed and frustrated in life, God gives fresh supplies of spiritual strength. God strengthens their faith and enlarges their views to behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living and confirms his blessings and promises of grace unto them.
And to those who have no might He increases Strength. Some people have might, but not to a good extent. To such people, God gives fresh strength as the Apostle says, “When I am weak, then I am strong.” They become weak due to their sinful nature, because of their iniquity. To such people God increases the spiritual strength.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, sometimes God allows you to go through trials. Through which God wants you to learn, to trust and rely on Him completely for all your needs. God will strengthen you when you are weak. He loves you and cares for you. Trust in Him for all your needs. One word of encouragement is enough to strengthen you, while you pass through a period of trial.
Prophet Isaiah speaks with a special reference to those among God’s people whose faith and hope, were very low, and God would strengthen and support them. Even youth who boast of their strength sometimes fail when God withdraws His support as in the case of Samson. But God promises to renew their strength and they shall grow stronger and soar high like the eagles.
God will enable you also to soar high with power and strength, when you truly depend on Him. Increase your faith in Him and you shall experience a great change in your life.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you Lord for giving us power and increasing our strength. Help us to rely on You completely for all our needs. Teach us Oh Lord to trust in you at all times. May we endure all our troubles patiently and receive spiritual strength from the Lord. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Hebrews, 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Dear Brothers and sisters, “The faith” spoken of in the above context is not a mere moral virtue but in general, respects the various promises and blessings of grace and it chiefly regards the faith of several Old Testament saints like Able, Enoch, Noah, Abraham and Sarah. And also remains the same with the faith of the New Testament characters too. It emphasizes a firm persuasion, of the power, faithfulness and love of God in Christ. The special blessings are described as the “substance of things hoped for” which are things unseen and quite difficult to be obtained. Yet these servants of God had great faith in Jehovah.
David in his Psalms explains how faith remains as standing hope or foundation of hope, and faith is a constant persuasion and expectation of them. He says, I sink in deep mire. where there is no standing, I have come into deep waters , where the floods overflow me. I am weary with my crying, My throat is dry, My eyes fail while I wait for my God. So we see that in spite of the terrifying situation, they survived with much hope and faith in God. The above verse says, that you should believe things completely even if you have no evidence to support your belief. This verse asks you actually to assume with confidence that you know something that you actually do not know. Faith provides a guarantee, like the peg, on which we hang our hopes . Faith has substance and reality. Faith provides a ground to which we may hold fast. This faith grants us courage, to move forward in life
My dear Brothers and Sisters, do you have this faith in God? Are you experiencing faith in your life? If not have a closer walk with God. The Bible says, the just shall live by faith. And without faith it is impossible to please God. If you believe, all things are possible to him who believes. If you believe you shall see the glory of God. Therefore if you wish to experience the glory of God you need to have absolute faith in God.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank You for the faith you have instilled in our mind. Help us to continue in faith irrespective of the problems we face in our day to day life. Teach us to increase our faith in You. May we grow and live by faith according to Your desire. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
