God exalts the diligent. My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Proverbs 22:29 “Do you see a man who excels in his work. He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”
From the above context we observe how a diligent man excels in his life. Some of you who are reading this message are struggling in life. You may not have a proper job. Therefore you are not able to settle in life. Just as God blessed Joseph with a small job and he began his life with a small beginning, God is going to provide you with a good job. It may be a small beginning but don’t despise the small beginnings in life and God will lift you up to a higher level.
Many of you who are reading this message have been waiting too long a time for a good promotion. God who gave promotion to Joseph in Potiphar’s house will also grant you promotion. Some of you are crying saying you are unable to receive a good name from your authorities, even though you have worked hard under them for many years. You are saying that you are doing all the hard work but someone else is enjoying the benefit of your hard labour. You are wondering if a change will take place in your life. Some say that your boss has not recognized your hard efforts for the company. Your master has failed to observe your hard work until this day therefore you have not obtained any promotion. Well God says, just as Potiphar observed the good work of Joseph, soon your authorities too will begin to observe your hard work. God will help him to see that it was by his hard work that his company or business was successful.
God is breaking all the barriers that stand in the way of securing a good job. Through you, God will bless your master and grant you fame and praise among all the peoples of the city, town or country. Therefore commit your ways unto the Lord trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord bless our work as You blessed the labour of Joseph. May our mater observe and appreciate our hard effort that we take. Grant us promotion and help us to stand before noblemen and Princes. Teach us never to despise our small beginnings but strive hard and be successful in our life. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of James 1:2 “ Count it all joy when you fall into various trials.”
From the above context we come to understand that the Lord wanted His disciples to count it all joy when they go through trials. As the Lord was about to leave them and suffer persecution he encouraged the disciples to stand fast in the faith. He knew that they would be like scattered sheep without the shepherd once He leaves them. The disciples actually loved Jesus and they couldn’t bear to know that soon He was going to depart from them. He also told them that there would be tribulation and sufferings once he departs from them.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Similarly the Lord is speaking to you through this message that there will be problems, trials and temptation in this world. But the Lord encourages you by saying that one should count it joy when you fall into various trials in your life. For God is telling you today that there will not be a single person who will not go through affliction. And nobody will be able to say, that there is no problem in their life. They may be eminent industrialist, popular politician, or Chief Minister, Prime Minister, or President, whoever they might be, they will have some problem or other.
Do you know why you go through trials? If not you will have no fear whatsoever. You will do what you like, and will live however you may please. Therefore in order to keep a check over your life the Lord allows trials and testing. That you may turn to God for help. Cry out to Him whenever you go through hardships. God wants you to hope in His mercy. For He will neither leave you nor forget you. He holds you in the palm of His hand. Your walls are ever before Him.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Help us to be careful in our walk of life. May we be pleas able in Your sight. Teach us to fear You at all times. Give us the ability to bear the affliction cheerfully, and to count it joy when we go through trials. Help us to stand fast in the faith, be strong and bold for God and His purpose. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Isaiah 59:19 “When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.”
From the above passage we learn that God will make His justice upon the enemies of his children. When the enemy threatens to bear down all, without control then the Spirit of the Lord shall stop him and put him to flight. This passage means God would come to deliver his people, and chase his foes by a violent rush of floods, and drive them away by a mighty wind. When the enemy comes in with terror, with violence, and with allies like a flood, God will rear a standard against him. God will go forth with energy, and power, to defend his people, and to prostrate his foes.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Somebody might have been attacking you, or your daughter or your son in one way or another. And as parents you are weeping over your children. Therefore you are worried about them and their future But God is looking at you and saying, that no one will be able to shoot an arrow, either on you or your family. Just as God fulfilled what he said to King Hezekiah by his word through the prophet Isaiah, God will fulfill what he has promised to you and your children. God who uprooted all the plans of King of Assyria, and showed favor to King Hezekiah, Similarly all those who try to shoot arrows at you, or your children, or cause trouble to you through sorcery and witchcraft, God is today nullifying all their plans, and destroying all their evil intentions towards you and will show his favor to you and your children.
Just as the weapons of the Assyrian army could not prevail, against King Hezekiah no weapon that is aimed at you shall prosper. There may be an unknown enemy at your workplace, who has planned to cause trouble to you due to jealousy and is always coming around you in order that he might kill you. Or there may be an enemy in your own business who wants to destroy you. Or someone has engaged or appointed a gang to destroy you and your family because of enmity. But God says none of them shall come near unto you, or cause trouble to you. It is true that they had planned to attack you but God prevented them from causing damage or any injury to you. Nothing shall harm you. No evil shall befall you. They will neither attack you with spear or shield or any other form of weapon.
You shall never see the enemies who came after you. You shall search for them but you will not find them. Because they who came to destroy you shall return in the same way they came. God who delivered David, Daniel and Joseph from the hands of their enemies, will also deliver you from your enemies. God says, “ I will be a strong support to you.” God will destroy every weapon formed against you. When you cry to him in prayer, He will answer you. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Thank You, Lord for alerting us through this message, that You will save us from the hands of our enemies. Help us to have peace within our family, our business, our work spot, in our studies, and our ministry. Thank You, Lord for Your strong support.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Deuteronomy 26:7-8 “Then we cried out to the Lord the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our voice, and saw our misery toil and oppression.”
From the above context we learn that Jacob went with his wives and children, cattle and sheep to settle in Egypt when his son, Joseph was the governor there. Then they were few in number, and there Jacob became a great nation mighty and populous. But the Egyptians mistreated them and laid hard bondage, on them. They were poor, despised, oppressed, people in Egypt. So they cried unto the Lord, God of their fathers, and the Lord heard their voice and looked on their affliction, and their labour and their oppression. With great terribleness, and through the plagues that were inflicted on them, especially the slaying of their first born, God delivered his people who faced tremendous misery and treated as slaves in the land of Egypt. The Lord brought them out of Egypt, with a mighty hand, and with an out stretched arms, with great terror, and with signs and wonders. He brought them to a large land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Just as God saw the affliction of the people of Israel, He has seen your misery and has heard your cry. He will bring you out of all your problems. When you share your problem with others they may laugh at you. You will not get any good solutions to your problem through them. They will only confuse you all the more. But when you call upon the name of the Lord, He will hear your cry and answer you speedily. You are precious in Gods sight. When you call unto Him in the time of your misery God will send forth His word, and deliver you. God says, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you and you shall glorify Me.
When the Israelites cried out to the Lord He sent forth His servant Moses to deliver them from their captivity. Similarly the Lord will send His angels to attend on you and rescue you from all your problems. God is always beside you, to save you, protect you, and keep you from all your woes. If you have Jesus by your side, nothing can shake you. All you have to do is to trust in the Lord, as the people of Israel did. They trusted in the Lord their God and cried out to Him. So the Lord delivered them from the hands of the cruel task masters. What is your problem that you are going through? Call upon the name of the Lord. He will answer you and you shall glorify Him.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord You know all our problems, our tears, and sorrows. Help us Lord when we call upon Your name. We will be thankful to you, when you hear our cry and rescue us from all our woes. Teach us to glorify your name and be grateful to You for the good things you have done in our life. Keep us as the apple of Your eye.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
My Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 60:5, “Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you. The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.”
God wants to make your life radiant. Therefore You must not be lukewarm. There are some who are neither cold nor hot. God does not want His children to live a half hearted lifestyle. There is a plan and purpose for your life on this Earth. You have been called to fulfill that plan and purpose. You have to set a goal in life and strive to achieve it. The Lord will make you radiant and change your heart that is weary and sorrowful. You need to rise and shine for the Lord because Your light that reveals the way to Christ is here.
While Jesus walked on the face of this earth along with His disciples, He spoke to the People saying, “I am the light of the world, whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness.” If not darkness will cover the people. Isaiah admonishes the people to arise and shine and not to grope in darkness. Isaiah the prophet actually focuses the attention of the people to seek the glorious light of God’s kingdom. For those in Christ are no more in the dark. This is the assurance that God gives to His children. Because the light has come upon them. The True Light “Jesus” is risen upon the people of God.
Until Jesus comes into your life, you seem to live in darkness, you may live a life displeasing to God. There is a great difference in the life of a believer and the unbeliever. When a believer walks in the ways of the Lord, he humbles himself before God and obeys the commandment of God then the glory of God will be seen upon them. The Lord will arise over you only if your ways are right in the presence of God. God will exalt you in life such that others will have respect for you. And the wealth of the unbelievers will be inherited by you. The Bible says that the wealth of the sinners is stored up for the righteous.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters there is no greater Light besides Jesus. Either you live for Jesus or remain in darkness. Its either life or death. Choose this day whom you shall serve. Satan keeps most people in spiritual darkness. The Bible says, Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the gospel of Christ who is the true image of God, May the Lord enable you to see the true Light and enjoy the glory of Christ. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord give us knowledge and the insight to know You better. To walk in the Light and not in darkness. Remove all negative thoughts from our mind, and help us to acquire positive nature that would lead to light. May we inherit the wealth of the unbelievers. May the True Light shine upon us.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
