My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Job 13:15, “Though He slay me yet will I trust Him. Even so, before Him. I will defend my own ways, before Him”.
Job was a wealthy man. He lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless, and upright and one who feared God and shunned evil. Being a wealthy man he lived with his large family and extensive flocks. Job had seven sons and three daughters. He retained his piety throughout his lifetime. God boasts about Job’s goodness. But satan argues that Job was good because God had blessed him abundantly. The book of Job relates the sufferings of Job over a period of time. God Himself allowed satan to test Job. God set out to prove to satan that Job is righteous just because he is being blessed. God allowed satan to have power over Job, but not to lay his finger on the man. Therefore Job lost everything, his sheep, oxen camels, his servants, and all his sons and daughters. But remarkably he did not lose his faith in God. So we see how Job lost everything. Having Lost everything Job arose, tore his robe and shaved his head and he fell to the ground and worshiped God and said, “ Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord”.
In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong. Even Job’s friends doubted him and started to blame him for his own troubles. They thought he must have sinned to suffer such trials. Like the refiners fire God often uses sufferings that we might depend upon him totally. It may be that he is trying to get our attention through the sufferings. Even when his wife rebuked him saying,
“Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die. Job replied to her,”’ You are talking like a foolish woman . Shall we expect good from God and not trouble.” Since Job was righteous and blameless God blessed the latter part of Job life more than the beginning. Though his friends despised him he prayed for them and therefore the Lord restored Job’s losses. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. My dear brothers and sisters If you too will endure sufferings like Job patiently God will honor you and give you double portion of blessing.

Our loving Heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Lord teach us to be faithful like Job and not to sin against you. Help us to bear the sufferings patiently in our life. My dearly beloved brothers and sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Genesis 28:15, “And behold I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places wither thou goes and will bring thee again into this land, for I will not leave thee until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.” God is promising this assurance for you today.
Jacob was left alone to face the challenges in life after he was sent away by Isaac His father and Rebecca his mother from the land of Canaan to the land of Paddan Aram. This is what God did for Jacob while he was moving to his uncle’s place. God protected Jacob from wild beasts of prey, in lonesome places, through which he might travel, from thieves and robbers, to whom he might be exposed. Even from his own brother Easu and uncle Laban. Even now, God is able, to perform all things perfectly for you.
Our God is a God of promise. If he has promised you something He will surely fulfill it in your life. He said to Jacob “I am with you, and will watch over you wherever you go.” He is a God who takes care of you. He says, cast your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you. He will never leave you nor will He forsake you. The Lord will personally go ahead of you. Therefore, do not be afraid and do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. For through God, you will do valiantly. For through Him you shall do victoriously.
My dear brothers and sisters, wherever we are, we are safe, if we have Gods favorable presence with us. Jacob had such a favor from God. Whom God loves, He never leaves. This promise is sure to all the children of God. The Lord was with Jacob, as He had promised and He caused him to return back to Canaan to his father’s house from Paddan Aram. The Bible says, ‘Those that are entitled to peculiar favors must be a peculiar people.’
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Daniel, Joseph and Job, were some of the most peculiar people during Bible times. We see that all God’s children are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. You should praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. God watches over you wherever you go. Do not be afraid.

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord I thank you for keeping a watch over my children. Help them to hold on to Your hands and walk through their dreary path. Never leave them alone. Teach them to throw off everything that hinders their closeness with God. Sometimes they trip and stumble every time they try to draw closer to the. Therefore I pray that You guard their steps and enable them to approach You fearlessly. In Jesus name we pray.

Dearly Beloved in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord gave me to bless you today is from the book of Psalms 111:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise”. The Lord says that He is going to give the gift of wisdom to all those who lack it.
To whom does God give wisdom? It is to those who follow His commandments. When you live according to the commandments of the Lord, He will bless you with His divine wisdom.
In the lives of some children, we see that the devil enters and destroys their lives by taking away the wisdom given by God. In some houses, though the children are well educated, they are affected by some kind of mental illness. The only way to be delivered from such kind of problem is to believe the Lord Jesus and follow Him. One word from Jesus is enough to set you free. God is our protector.
Romans 16:20 says, “The God of peace will crush Satan under your feet”. The Lord has given you the authority to trample the devil under your feet. Have faith and be of good cheer. The Lord has fought all your battles.
The Lord will deliver you from all your problems and will fill you with His wisdom from above. The Lord will be with you now and forever more.

Today the Lord is going to bless you according to Isaiah 33:20, “Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken”.
The Lord Jesus is going to bless you;
Until now you may have faced troubled situations in your personal life and family. But be of good cheer. The Lord is going to give you quietness and peace. The New Year will be a Year of Peace for you. Isaiah 32:18 says, “My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places”.Accordingly the Lord is going to bless you with His peace.
2. GOD ESTABLISHES YOU AND YOUR DWELLING PLACE.
Your family may have faced many problems last year. You may have been struggling in the place that you reside. Today the Lord is going to destroy all the weapons that were formed against you. Those who come towards you in one direction will flee in seven directions. There will be no more atrocities happening in your family nor trouble or calamities in your borders. The Lord Himself will be your direct light.
The Lord promises that in this New Year, your family and your dwellings will be lovely and will stand firm and it will not be shaken. Your dwelling and your tents will be sculptured beautifully before the heavenly Father. The hands of the Lord will do this for you according to Numbers 24:5 which says, “How lovely are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel!”
Yes, God is going to give you a permanent dwelling on this Earth for you to live in your days, and for your generations to live in that house after you.
3. YOUR BLESSINGS WILL NOT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU.
The blessings of the Lord will stay on your forehead. Amos 9:15 says, ” I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up, from the land I have given them,” Says the Lord your God.”
The Lord is telling prophetically that He will give you a permanent stay in the land that you are in. No authority can take away the blessings that has been bestowed upon you and your family. You will enjoy every blessing that God is going to bless you with.
4. YOUR FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS WILL BE SECURE.
The Lord promises you that this New Year your family life will be a happy and joyful one.
For those who had faced strain in their relationships, the bondage will disappear and your family life will be a blessed one. The Lord will bless you according to Jeremiah 30:17 says, ” For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord”.
I pray and bless that all these blessings will come to pass in your life this year

Loving Heavenly Father,
We thank you for this New Year 2019. I pray that you will bless your dear children according to Isaiah 33:20. May all the unpleasant situations in their family be removed and may it be enriched into a beautiful family. Keep them away from all harm and diseases. Protect them in such a manner, that they may be kept away from all dangers. I fence them and pray that no evil, witchcraft or evil powers shall pluck off any of the blessings that you have given them. May their family resemble to that of a small heaven.

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of, John 10:9, ” I am the Door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved. And will go in and out and find pasture”.
The above context actually refers to the sheep and the shepherd. There are many false shepherds in this world and they considered Jesus as an imposter. A sheep needs man’s care and in return they lend service to man. In order to protect the sheep from the wolves and other wild animals, they had their sheep folds within the backyard of their houses for the safety of the flocks.
The sheepfold lies much exposed to thieves and robbers. The shepherd safeguards the sheep from the cruel hands of such thieves and robbers. The sheep hears the voice of his shepherd and enters the door of the sheepfold and are therefore safe. They go in and out under the watchful eyes of the shepherd and are led to green pastures where they find food and rest.
My dear Brothers and Sisters we are living in a dangerous world. Any where we turn, we are surrounded with horrible disease. Cancer, heart attack , Diabetes, Arthritis, and so on. There is a question that rises in our minds. Who will save me from this situation? There is no remedy for certain disease and even before we could diagnose the disease the person dies of illness. Such is the state of our current life.
That is why God says, I am the door. I alone am the healer. I am the one who sustains you. Anyone who enters the door will be saved, will be healed. Take Jesus along with you where ever you go. He will never fail you nor forsake you. God wants to protect us from the adversary he devil, that walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The sheepfold represents the church. When one enters the church he will be saved. One must realize that Jesus is the door of the kingdom of God. Anyone who enters through the door will be rescued. He will be saved from sin, curse and condemnation, from wrath to come and would be kept safe in the hands of God.Then no one can pluck them out of his hand. May the Lord help you to enter the door and be safe.
