My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord gave me to bless you today is from the book of Numbers 24:5-6, “How lovely are your tents, O Jacob, Your dwellings, O Israel. Like Valleys that stretch Out, Like gardens by the riverside, Like Aloes planted by the Lord, Like Cedars beside the waters”. Dwelling place or tents, refers to the house in which you live. Prophet Balaam blesses the people of Israel, by blessing their dwelling places.
God is keen in blessing you and your family. When God created Adam and Eve, He also created the Garden of Eden for them to stay and enjoy. He never wanted them to suffer. But the moment they disobeyed God, trouble entered into their lives. When Jesus enters into your family, happiness will automatically enter your home.
I wish to illustrate as to how when Jesus comes into one’s life, the whole scenario changes. I was once invited to a meeting by Brother Jawahar Samuel, at Coimbatore. At the meeting, I was singing a song with tears in my eyes. Having finished my first session, I went for an individual prayer. Two young brothers who were touched by the song came and stood before me along with their wives. I was told later that the two brothers had married two sisters from the same family. One of the brothers said, “Sir, you spoke about the cleanliness of the house and blessed House. But our house is a very shabby house. You said that Sunday is the Lord’s Day. But, it is on that day that we engage ourselves in drinking, eating and enjoying the weekend. If the food wasn’t tasty we would stick burning cigarettes on the hands of our wives.” They further said that one of their relative had directed them to meet me for prayer. But they had decided to leave their wives at the meeting spot and move away to some place to enjoy for themselves as they had come from Mangalore. But after hearing the message, things changed. The song that I sang changed their lives. The brothers decided to change their style of life, that very day. They got baptized. That was when they realized as to why God had brought them there. They returned home and threw all the hard drink bottles, and cleaned the entire house to allow Jesus enter in. From then on, their business flourished and they remain as true witnesses for the Lord.
My dearly beloved, you might have faced many problems just like this. When you do anything that displeases God, He will move away from you. When He moves away, there will be no peace in your homes. Therefore, throw away all unnecessary things from your house. Allow Jesus to enter into your hearts and house, and your dwellings will be lovely like Cedars beside the water and like the Aloes planted by the Lord.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Help my children to cleanse their houses and allow Jesus to enter their homes. Give them the spirit of discernment, so that they will be able to examine their family life. Let them discard all unwanted things from their life, so that they may enjoy the blessings of God in their family. May You be the center of their lives. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord gave me to bless you today is from the book of Numbers 24:1-2, “Now when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not resort to divination as at other times, but turned his face toward the wilderness and when Balaam looked out and saw Israel encamped tribe by tribe, the Spirit of God came on him.”
God brought the Israelites out of the Egypt from their captivity under the leadership of Moses to the Land of Canaan “flowing with milk and honey”. During their journey they stayed in the wilderness until God asked them to move forward. They built tents and stayed in camps, throughout their journey. When they arrived near the river Jordan the City of Moab, they spread all over according to their tribes and stayed. Balak, the King of Moab was afraid of these people. He feared that it would be dangerous if the Israelites stayed in Moab permanently. He took many steps to destroy them completely but he failed. Finally, he called for the famous Prophet, Balaam, to curse the people of Israel so that they may be cursed and destroyed. But God was pleased to save the people of Israel. When Balaam went to curse the people of Israel, God sent His angels with swords to stand before the people of Israel to protect them from Balaam. Balak, the king, took Prophet Balaam, to the top of the mountain to curse the people. When they reached the top of the mountain, God touched the heart and tongue of Balaam. The words that came from his mouth were the words of blessings and not of curse. Balaam came to curse the people; but God made Balaam to bless the people.
My dearly beloved, even today, there may be people who are jealous of you and your talents. They may plot evil against you. But when your ways are holy and pleasing in the sight of God, He will send His angels to protect you from all danger. All those who come to curse you, will end up blessing you; because, they will see an army of angels beside you. God, will lift your head among those people who cursed you. He wants you to live a blessed life. God will grant to you all the blessings that you lack in. Today, God is going to put an end to all your problems and He will give you His strength to overcome all your troubles.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our Loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I submit my dear children into Your hands. I thank You for changing all the curses into blessings and for protecting them from the hands of the enemy. Let all those who come to curse my children, see Your angels and bless them instead. Father, we thank You for lifting up their heads before those who put them down. Be with them and bless them. May You send Your angels and protect my children. In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen.
My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of John 5:5-6, “Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
There is a pool by the Sheep Gate, called Bethesda in Jerusalem, which means – House of Mercy. This pool possessed a specialty that no other pool in that place possessed. Bethesda was the place where Jesus performed miracles for those people who came for mercy. Those who were unable to be cured by the physicians came there. They would come and wait there to receive a miracle from the God of mercies. An angel of the Lord would descend into the pool and stir the water. All those who were sick surrounded the pool. There were a multitude of people – lame, blind, paralyzed and with different kinds of sickness. Every day, they would be waiting anxiously for the angel of God to descend into the pool. When the angel of God came and stirred the water, whoever got into the water first, was healed from any kind of sickness.
There was a person of infirmity, lying there for 38 years. He was not lame by birth. That man’s disease was because of his sins. If only his legs were fine, he would have run into the pool and would have got healed. Even though he did not have anyone to take him to the pool, he did not give up his faith. God came in search of him despite his sins. There was no one to help that man. He also knew that his sins would be forgiven. He was waiting in that place for 38 years with faith. When Jesus came in search of that man and asked him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man replied, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but when I try to get in, another man gets in before me.”
Jesus moved with compassion towards him. The very next moment, Jesus said, “Get up, take your bed and walk”. And immediately, the man was healed, took up his bed and walked. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him; “See you have been healed. Sin no more, so that worse things may not come upon you”.
My dearly beloved, Jesus came to this Earth for the sinners. God says, “I have come to set them free and make them holy”. God is looking at you and is telling, “I am going to deliver you. After this, make sure that you do not commit any sin and get into trouble”. Are you worried about the disease that you have in your body? The Lord says that He is being merciful to you. He will heal and forgive you of your sins. Be cautious that you sin no more.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I commit my children into Your hands of mercy. If they have been suffering from any disease because of their sins, I pray that You may forgive their sins and deliver them from their disease. Lord, You are a God of mercy. May You be merciful to my children. Bring them out of all their difficulties and may they experience Your faithfulness in their lives. Be with them and bless them. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I waited upon the Lord, the blessed word that the Lord has given me to bless you today is from the book of 2 Corinthians 13:11, “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you”. Apostle Paul wrote two letters to the Church of Corinthians. He admonished the people in the church at Corinth over various issues. In his second letter, he mentioned this verse at the end of his letter and blessed the Church of Corinth.
Today, the Lord is going to give you and your family the same blessings that He had given to the people of the Corinthian Church. The five kinds of blessings that the Lord is going to give you are the blessing of rejoice, Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace and harmony. When you come to the feet of God in truth and in spirit, God Himself will bless you with these blessings. Psalm 147:11 says, “The LORD takes pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy”.
Firstly, God will meet the people who are troubled and weep in their heart. God is going to give you the blessing of Happiness as mentioned in the verse Jeremiah 31:13, “Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. God’s promises are true. He is not a man to lie. God will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him.
My dearly beloved, God will turn your sorrows into joy especially for the young children in your house, who have lost their peace because of their own sins, troubled and failures in their lives. God is going to turn those troubles into joy. God will bless those people who are in search of getting a job or finding it hard to settle in their career. He will strengthen and heal their children’s brokenness. God says, He will comfort them and give him joy instead of sorrow. Encourage one another so that you will be able to live in peace and happiness all through the days of your life.
Today, the Lord says that He hears your cries and will bless you with His divine Happiness. Our God is kind and compassionate. The God, who blessed Abraham and Sara with a son in their old age, is the same God even today. He will bless you and you shall rejoice in the Lord for all His goodness in your life.
God bless you.
Prayer
Our Loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. I pray that You may bless my dear children as You blessed the people of the church in Corinth. Lord, may You bless them with peace and happiness; so that they will rejoice in You. Be merciful to Your people and comfort them. Keep them happy so that they shall seek all the goodness that You have stored up for them. I submit them into Your loving hands. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Luke 10:42, “But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her”.
Mary and Martha were sisters. Martha was a good home maker. She was worried and troubled over many things. Mary chose the good part that no one could take away from her. The good part was, to sit at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ and listen to His teachings. She was not worried about the things of this world. She knew that one day, everything would perish, but the Word of God will remain forever. We see in Luke 21:33, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away”. Mary realized that she was the daughter of the Living God. So she engaged herself to sit at the feet of the Lord and meditate upon God’s word. She did not love the World or the things in the world.
Whenever Jesus visited Bethany, Martha invited the Lord Jesus into her house. She catered to the needs of Jesus in a different manner. She was busy arranging the table, setting food and did all other chores in the house. She was worried about the cleanliness of house, because Jesus often visited their house. Her style and motive of life was quite different from that of Mary.
That is why she asks Jesus, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me”. Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. Mary has chosen the good part that will not be taken away from her.” Mary was content with Jesus and only desired the feet of Jesus. Both the sisters loved Jesus much. But their attitude towards Him, differed.
My dear brothers and sisters, are you worried over the things of this Earth? Or have you set your mind on Jesus? The choice is yours. If you have not given sufficient time to Jesus, think it over as Mary. Jesus Himself said that she had chosen that good part which would not be taken away from her. Will Jesus pass such a statement about you? If we abide in Him, He will abide in us. This knowledge is been given to us by the Holy Spirit. John 8:47 says, “He who is of God hears Gods words, and if anyone keeps Gods word, he shall never see death”. Do not labor for the food which will perish but for the food which will endure forever. Seek God and you shall be richly blessed.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, bless my children to have the passion for Christ and help them to hear Your word, like Mary. May they invite You into their hearts. Father, may they give up on the lust of the flesh, eyes, and the pride of life, and lead a life pleasing in Your sight. Give them the wisdom to choose the good part. May they invite You into their homes and receive Your blessings in abundance. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
