Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Proverbs 15:6, “The house of the righteous contains great treasure, but the income of the wicked brings ruin”. In this verse we see that the Lord explains the revenue of the wicked and the righteous.
The treasures of the righteous will give him peace and happiness. Whereas, in the treasures of the wicked, there will be great trouble. The Lord says that if the income that you earn comes in the righteous way, then it will be a great blessing to you and your generation. If it comes through wrong ways, it will bring curse upon you and your generation. It is not about how much you earn but how you earn your income. You need to be faithful in every little thing that you do.
Now-a-days, many of you are not true to your boss. During the time of work, you get lost in attending to your own work rather than the office work. This means that you are stealing the time of your boss who has employed you. The income that you get out of this kind of work is not what you get through the right way. When you are not true to your work, you not only cheat your boss but also yourself. The income that you receive through this will turn into a curse. This is why you need to be very careful in all that you do. When you are faithful even in small things like giving in your complete attention to your work, then the Lord will reward you accordingly.
Which treasure do you want to own? The bible says in the book of Psalms 128:2, “You will eat the fruit of your labor”. You must be very careful not to eat the fruit of the labor of someone else. If you have earned your income in the right way, then you shall reap the fruit of happiness and satisfaction. At the same time, if you earn your income in the wrong way, you will reap curse and trouble not only for yourself but also for your generation.
My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, today the Lord tells you to choose wisely, the treasure that you would like to enjoy; for what you sow is what you will reap. Take time to examine yourself in every aspect. Check where you have gone wrong and set yourself right with the Lord.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, You have said that Your children shall eat the fruit of their labor. I pray that they may take time to examine themselves thoroughly and commit all their ways to You. I pray that You may forgive them if they have not been earning in a righteous way. Father, may You be gracious upon them and be with them in all that they do. Be with them and guide them in the way they should go. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 36:8, “They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights”. The Lord says that He will bless you with the abundance of His House.
You will receive all your blessings in abundance, in the House of the Lord. When you enter into His presence, do not think of any other problem. Keep your focus on the Lord and give heed to His words. When you carefully listen to His words, you will see miracles happening in your life. There are many people who know that there is abundant blessing in His temple but they do not know how to receive it. You do not need a special language to talk to the Lord. Speak to your heavenly Father the same way that you speak to your Earthly father. All that the Lord expects from you is for you to pour out all the burdens and requests of your heart to Him. Only then he will be able to meet all your needs. When the baby cries for food, the mother feeds. Likewise, only when you ask the Lord for what you need, He will give it to you.
The bible tells us the story of Hannah. She was the first wife of Elkanah. She was not able to bear a child for many years whereas the second wife succeeded her in that. This brought great shame and agony in the heart of Hannah. One day she ran to the House of the Lord and poured out the agony of her heart. When she went into the temple, she went with her face down in shame. But after she poured out her heart, she went out of the temple with great satisfaction because she knew that the Lord will surely give an answer to her tears.
Similarly, you might also have worries piled up in your heart not knowing what to do. But when you pour out the worries of your heart at the feet of Jesus, He will surely answer you and you will receive His blessings in abundance.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. You are the God who pours out blessings in abundance. I pray that You may fill Your dear children with the abundant blessing. When they pour out their hearts burdens and pray to You, I pray that You may fulfill all that they need. Father, may You guide them and lead them in the way they should go. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Numbers 24:5, “How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwelling places, Israel! Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters”. The Lord blessed the people of Israel saying these words through Prophet Balaam.
The book of Psalms 16:8 says, “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken”. You might face very difficult situations in life. Amidst all odds, do not forget that when the Lord is by your side, no one can be against you. The bible tells of the story of Queen Esther.
Esther was a Jew. She married the king of Persia. Haman was one of the important persons in the kingdom. He ordered that everyone should bow down to him while he passed by. Nut Mordecai (uncle of Esther) did not do so. In angry and fury, Haman started to plot a day for all the Jews to be killed. When this news reached Mordecai, he informed Esther. She waited upon the Lord and told Mordecai to tell all her people to fast and pray for three days and that the Lord would perform a miracle. Mordecai did as said. Queen Esther risked her life and took many steps to set her people free from the plot of Haman. When God heard the prayers, He turned the situation up-side-down. In the meanwhile, Haman built a gallows for Mordecai to be hung. One of the king’s attendants told the king of the gallows that Haman had built. The king was furious with Haman and ordered that he be hanged on that gallows. Haman’s pride and cruelty had led to his own destruction.
Similarly, there might be people who are plotting evil against you and is waiting to push you down into their nets, so that they may see your downfall and rejoice. But when you look up to the Lord of Zion (heaven) and pray, He will turn the situation in favor of you for those who plotted evil against you will be caught in their own nets. The Lord is near to those who call upon Him in truth.
My dearly beloved, whenever you face a difficult situation in life, do not give up. Trust in the Lord. Wait upon Him in prayer and ask the Lord for His guidance. The Lord will be your shield in times of trouble and will deliver you.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank and praise You for this blessed day. Lord, you know that there are many people who plot against Your children. I pray that You may be with them as a shield and protect them from all harm. For Your word says ‘I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken’. Father, may You protect all those who call unto You for help. May You be with them and guide them in the way they should go. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 34:5, “Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame”. All these days, when a small problem arose, you would have been thinking to whom you could go to, to solve your problem. My dearly beloved, Our Lord is the only one to whom you can approach under any circumstance, however complicated your situation may be because He is the only one who can give you the right answer.
Dearly beloved, I would like to share a testimony that took place in my life. One day when I returned home after my ministry at about 11’o’ clock, I freshened up and sat to have my dinner. A sudden severe pain struck my abdomen. The pain was too severe that I was unable to even stand up. I had never experienced such pain ever before. Later, I was rushed to the hospital. There were too many patients in line before me. The doctors had to attend to them before attending to me. I could not bear the pain all that while. Till that moment, I thought that the doctor might do some treatment and I would be fine. But at the time, the doctors were too busy to attend to me. That was when I suddenly placed my hands on the sides of my lower abdomen and looked up to heaven and cried out to the Lord saying “Lord I am unable to bear this pain. It hurts a lot”. Instantly I heard the voice of the Lord telling me “Son, I am not able to bear you say these words”. At that moment, I felt like someone was pushing me to the washroom. When I went and passed urine, a stone came out and then I was relieved from my pain. I was then made to take a scan just to check if everything was alright. The doctors were amazed about what had happened. When I looked up to the Lord and cried out for help, He performed an instant miracle.
My dear brothers and sisters Psalms 121:2 says, “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth”. Whenever you face any difficult situation in life and call unto the Lord, He will attend to you no matter what. However complicated your situation may be, you might also not know whom to go to for help, just call upon the name of Jesus, He will come to you. You will receive an instant miracle.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blesses day. Lord, when I cried for help, knowing the pain that I was going through, You came to my aid. I pray that when Your children cry out to You for help, may You help them and deliver them from their difficulties. May Your grace be upon them all the days of their lives. May You bless them. Father, I pray that You may heal Your children from any illness that they are going through. May You be with them. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Isaiah 33:20, “Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken”. The Lord says that He will bestow these blessings upon those who look up to Zion (heaven).
When the Lord blesses you with His blessings, He will not uproot it off from you because it is He who gave it to you. In the above verse God says that He will not uproot that what He has given. The Lord is going to cause you to keep growing higher and higher. People might have been waiting for you to start to grow in what you do so that, they would be able to uproot you off even before you could have taken root. Do not worry my child for the Lord says that, no one will uproot you off from what you have started to do because it is He who blessed you.
The book of Amos 9:15 says, “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them”. The Lord Himself says that He will not uproot what He has planted. No man can do any harm to you. God will make you to excel in all that you do according to His will. You need to have a steady mind only then God will be able to make you to stand firm.
The book of Hosea 14:5 says, “I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots”. The Lord says that He will descend upon you like the dew. The Lord will make you to come out of all your fears and you will bloom like the lily. When you put your trust in the Lord, you will fear no evil. The Lord will make you to take strong roots like the cedar of Lebanon. When you go forth to do any work with the strength that you have, the Lord will be your strength for He says that His strength is made perfect in your weakness.
My dearly beloved, if you feel scared or lost, do not be disheartened. The Lord says that He will be by your side in all that you do according to His will. Before you start to do anything, take a moment to pray and ask the Lord for His guidance. The Lord will guide you and you shall prosper in the place that the Lord plants you.
God bless you.
Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blesses day. Lord, Your word says in the book of Amos 9:15 that You will not uproot Your children from the land that You have placed them in. I pray that Your children may claim this word of blessing and seek Your guidance in all that they do. Take away fear from their hearts and strengthen them. Father, give them the wisdom to be vigilant in their work. Bless Your dear children. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
