YOU SHALL RECEIVE

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Matthew 7:11, ” If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your father which in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we do understand, that in the midst of all our evil, there is still that element of natural and pure affection. Which makes the fatherhood of men a fit parable of the Fatherhood of God. As all mankind in general, are both by nature and practice, they are conceived in sin, shapen in iniquity, are evil from their youth, they are corrupt and do abominable things. But the Bible says, even such people know how to give good gifts, to their children. They give their best to their children though it costs them much.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, When these evil parents can afford to give good gifts to their children, how much more shall your Father who is omniscient and omnipotent knows your need and will bless you with His choicest blessings.

The Bible says, God gives all good things to them that ask him. The context shows that the “good things” are spiritual gifts. The wisdom, and insight which we all need or rather the one gift of the holy spirit. Not only temporal gifts, as meat, drink and clothing but all spiritual good things, every supply of grace, all things, pertaining, to life and godliness. Spiritual gifts include grace, everything that is necessary for the spiritual and eternal good of his people. But to receive these gifts one must inquire of and seek after, and ask God for them. For every one who asks receives, the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks the door will be opened.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God expects us to ask him when we are in need. He says, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask and you will receive that your joy may be complete.” He further urges us to ask by saying, “Whatever you ask in My name, This I will do. That the Father may be glorified in the son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” Also we need to believe that if we ask God in prayer, we will receive it and it will be granted to us. May the Lord help you to ask Him when you are in need. David in his Psalms says, “To You all flesh will come, For you hear prayer.” God bless you.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. We thank you because you hear our prayer. Teach us to ask you when we are in need of help. Thank you for the gifts that you have bestowed upon us, both spiritual and temporal. Though we are sinful in nature, yet you consider us and guide us in the way we should go. Bless us, Lord with Your Divine Spirit that we live in tune with God.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

You shall prosper

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of Psalms 1:3, ” He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season. Whose leaf also shall not wither, And whatever he does shall prosper.”

My dear brothers and sisters, from the above verse we do understand that whatever the blessed man does God causes him to prosper. The Psalmist says, “And he shall be like a tree planted, or chosen, or considered as property cultivated and secured. But if the plant which the heavenly Father hath not planted shall be uprooted.’’ The Psalmist goes on to say, that “He is like a tree planted by the rivers of water.” This means that the water in the river never goes dry. It refers to the rivers of grace, the rivers of promise, and rivers of communion with Christ. they are never-failing sources of supply. The tree is expected to bring forth fruit in its season. The man who delights in God ’s word brings forth the fruit of patience, in the time of suffering, the fruit of faith in the day of trial, and holy joy in the hour of prosperity. Fruitfulness is an essential quality of a gracious man. And that fruitfulness should be reasonable. “His leaf shall not wither’’ which means, that even his little deeds of love shall be in remembrance. He shall neither lose his beauty nor his fruitfulness.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Maybe all these days, you have been like a tree planted in dry parched land that does not bring forth fruit in its season, and all that you have done may not have been prosperous. And even the leaves from your tree might have withered and fallen off. Which means that every effort you had taken to prosper might have failed. There would not have been any fruit so far in your life. You have been an utter failure or may have been a waste until this time. But God is going to change the very course of your life. He is going to pluck you out of this dry and parched land and replant you in a very green and fertile land by the side of still waters or rivers that would never run dry and you shall be prosperous and you would bring forth fruit in your season.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Your effort in achieving your goals will never become a failure. All the work of your hands shall be prosperous. For the Lord, your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty to send rain, on your land in season and to bless the work of your hands. To prosper you need to meditate on the word of God day and night. Such people will be blessed. Then the Lord your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hands. May the Lord help you to be like a tree that brings forth fruit in its season.

Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord thank you for planting us in the fertile place and for making us be fruitful in the season. Lord, Let all our efforts be successful and help us to establish the work that God has entrusted to us. Lord bless the work of our hands.

In Jesus name, we pray.

Amen.

The Lord is mindful of you

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our maker, creator and ever unforgettable Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given us this day is from the book of Psalm 115:12-14 says “He will bless his people Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron, He will bless those who fear the Lord—small and great alike. May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children.”

The Lord is mindful of us. He will bless us. The Lord says that He is mindful of our family. It is not that God is concerned only of one person in the family, He is concerned about your entire family.

According to Luke 19:10 ‘For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost’, God is more concerned about those sheep who have gone astray from His herd. He knows how to bring them into His fold.

Saul was a person who was against God, who tortured and persecuted the children of God. But God was mindful of him too. One day the Lord met him and turned him to be like Paul. God has His own ways of doing things. Many parents are crying over such children. You are frightened as to what might befall your children. God will bring them to His fold. The Lord will bless them as he is mindful of them.

Today, whatever blessings you may lack in, God is gracious enough to fulfill it to you. Today every one of you in your family is going to receive some kind of blessing. Blessings of the Lord awaits you and your family.

Prayer:
Our Loving Heavenly Father, thank you for being so mindful of us. I pray that You may bring back all those children who have gone astray from their family. Lord, we thank You for what You are going to do this in the lives of Your beloved children.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

God honors you.

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of,   Matthew   20:16  “ So the last will be the first and the first last,  for many are called but few are chosen. ”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we learn that God blesses those who wait upon Him. Today God wants to fill all the empty places of your life. He is a God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.

Once a sister came up to me for prayer. She was very down in spirit. She said, “ Brother I am the eldest child in the family. But all my younger brothers and sisters have got married. But I am yet to get married. Please pray for me. I am patiently waiting for the Lord to perform a miracle in my life.” I was very much touched  in  my heart   when   she  broke  out in tears saying, “I feel so ashamed and humiliated to mingle with others.” I immediately prayed for her and blessed her in the name of our Lord Jesus  Christ.  I said, Lord you who fills all empty space with all good things, fill the empty space of her spouse with a suitable God-fearing husband.  Please remove all reproach from her and make her a joyful woman. While praying for her the Lord clearly told me that there was a curse over the family. Though all her younger siblings were married, none of them had any children. So I prayed to the Lord to break the bondage of the curse that had fallen upon her family since He had nailed it on the cross of Calvary.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,  Then I prayed for her and said, “You who are last will be the first.” After a few weeks, she called me on the phone and said, that a good proposal had come her way and that God had answered her prayers. She was married and was blessed with twins.  Only after her marriage, the bondage of the curse was broken,   after which her other siblings gave birth to several children. God’s name is glorified.  She was the last to get married in her family but God blessed her with children immediately. She was the first to give birth to children. Thus the above saying “The last will be the first and the first last,”  came true in her life. God filled the empty space in her life by blessing her with husband and children.

When the prophet’s wife prayed to Elisha to help her clear her debts. Then God filled all the empty vessels in the city and produced overflowing blessing. God who blessed this daughter with a good husband and children will also bless those of you who are waiting to be settled. God bless you.

Prayer:

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day.  Lord, we are thankful to You for filling all empty space in our lives. You hear our cry and answer our prayers. Teach us to wait on the Lord patiently until our prayer is answered. We thank you for making the last first and the first last. You O Lord are in heaven and do what pleases you. Make us enjoy the blessings of God. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.

Fullness of Blessing

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ,   I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.  The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of,  2 Kings 4:6  “Now it came to pass when the vessels were full that she said, to her son, “Bring me another vessel.“And he said, to her there is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we read about the incident of a widow who was the wife of a prophet. The Prophet had left behind a huge debt and she had to pay back a large sum of money. The creditors often troubled her and threatened her that he would take away her sons if she failed to pay back the dues.  She was rather scared of them and she did not wish to part her two sons from her.  She was going through painful trouble. So she ran to the prophet Elisha and cried out to him for help. So Elisha said to her, “What do you have in the house? The woman replied that she had nothing other than a jar of oil with her.  Then he said to her “ Go borrow vessels from everywhere. From all your neighbors-empty vessels, do not gather just a few.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, Prophet Elisha told her that once she collected all the vessels, she should shut the door behind her and her sons, then pour it into all the vessels, and set aside the full ones. Now it came to pass  when the vessels were full that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”  “And he said, to her there is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. ’ The oil stopped pouring out until all the vessels in the village had been filled with oil. Then she went and told the man of God that she had filled all the vessels that she had borrowed. And he said, “Now go and sell the oil and pay your debt. And you and your sons live on the rest.” Just as she was directed she sold the oil and paid the debts. Thus she saved her two sons from the creditors cruel hands. She not only cleared the debts but also provided for her sons and their future.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,  God is going to bless you with such a kind of blessing.  God is going to bless you with overflowing blessings. She approached the man of God when she was in a poor state of life.   God solved the problem of the widow. And made her a prosperous woman.  In the same way, God will solve all your problems if you approach God in a humble manner.  Nothing is too hard for the Lord to do. You too like the widow may be facing financial crisis. You may have to pay back your creditor a huge sum of money.   Or maybe you are in a tight corner situation because of some misunderstanding with your spouse. Or maybe you are going through a tough period in your work spot because of your boss.  Whatever situation you may be going through God is able to deliver you,  and set you free. God wants to bring an end to all your problems. He will perform a miracle for you.  He spoke and it was done. He commanded and it stood fast. Halleluiah.!  Our  God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think or pray. God bless you.

Prayer:  Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Thank you for helping the widow clear off her debts and provide for the future of her sons.  Help us also to pay off our debts and live in peace and harmony. Give us the strength to overcome all problems that crop up in our life. Bring an end to all our problems and help us see better days in life.

In Jesus name we pray.

Amen.
