My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of 1 Timothy 6:10, ” For the Love of money is a root of all kinds of evil”. Today many people are involved in making a lot of money. Amassing wealth in different ways. Building huge luxurious Villas and purchasing expensive cars. They spend lavishly and hoard wealth either in the form of immovable property or in the form of jewels in the bank locker or sometimes as black money. It is not wrong to save money but one should not run after money. When they have more money they tend to boast over others. They become proud. Some disobey parents, and involve in squandering money in various ways. Some for want of money get into all sorts of wrong activities and thus get entangled themselves in sin and lose track of God. They become lovers of pleasure than lovers of God. When one gets money through wrong means, may be through bribe, then such blessing does not come from God. It comes from the evil. It brings curse into the family, on you and your descendants.
Naaman was a commander of the army of Syria. He was a great and honorable man. But he was a leper. His maid who was brought as a captive from the land of Israel, pleaded him to meet prophet Elisha. So Naaman met the prophet. Elisha told him to go and wash in the river Jordan, seven times. Hence Naaman went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan. Immediately , his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child.
Naaman went to see the man of God and thank him for his kindness. Naaman asked Elisha to receive all the gifts that he had brought for him. But Elisha refused to take any gifts from him. Hence Naaman returned. But Gehazi the servant of Elisha, pursued Naaman. When Naaman saw him running after him, he inquired if all was well? And Gehazi said, “All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, two young men of the sons of the prophets: have come from the mountains of Ephraim give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garment. And Naaman immediately urged him, to take two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him”. When Elisha heard that Gehazi his servant had followed Naaman and taken the gifts without his knowledge he tells Gehazi, “Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever”. And Gehazi went out from his presence leprous as white as snow. Thus we see from the word of God, that love for money endangers one’s life. Wealth wrongly acquired becomes a curse. Hence we should be happy with blessings that the Lord bestows upon us and we should always follow the right way to acquire wealth .

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord let not my children be lovers of money. Instead help them to love You as you are the source of blessing. May they realize that godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. Lord meet all their financial needs according to your riches. My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of Proverbs 10:22, “The Blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it”. God wants to bless His children. He says, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers. God wants each and every one to live a blessed life not only materially, financially, but also physically with good health. This blessing comes when your soul prospers. Your soul should be in contact with God through Reverence and prayer. Then you will prosper in all your ways. God directs Joshua, “Observe to do according to all the law which Moses had commanded. Let not the book of law depart from your mouth but you shall meditate in it day and night. For then you will make your way prosperous.”
My dear brothers and sisters, this is the secret of God that all might look up to Him and His word. The Bible says, Blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the Lord. And In His law he meditates day and night, and then he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, and whatever he does shall prosper. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous.
Abraham was not only known as the “Friend of God” but he was rich in live stock in silver, and in gold. Job was a man who feared God and shunned evil. He was blessed with seven sons and three daughters. His possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen. The Bible says, this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.
Likewise when Jacob was fleeing from Beersheba to Haran, to Laban’s place, God promised to bless Jacob. When God asked him to return to his father’s place, Jacob thanked God saying Lord, “I am not worthy of the mercies and of all the truth You have shown to me.”For I crossed over this Jordan with my staff. And now I have become two companies.”This is how God blessed Jacob. He was blessed with twelve sons, with flocks of sheep, and cattle. He became a wealthy man.
My dear brothers and sisters if you want to be blessed you need to be in tune with God. Meditate Gods word day and night, Have fellowship with God. Be righteous and faithful before God in all your ways, then the Lord will bless you as He blessed these men of God. In spite of the affliction and sacrifice they had to undertake God blessed them. Such blessing that comes from God does not cause pain or sorrow. It brings joy and peace.

My dear Brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given you for today is from the book of 2 Samuel 7:29, “Now therefore let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You. For You O Lord God have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of your servant be blessed forever.”
Prophet Nathan tells David as prophesy that God is going to build a house for him. When David received the word through Nathan he says, “Lord the moment my ears heard that You are going to build a house for me, I am encouraged to pray for a house. Dear Brothers and Sisters God is speaking to you through the words of Nathan, that God is going to provide a good house for you to live and also establish you as a family. Just as David was encouraged to pray for his house, you too should pray and ask God to provide a house for you. May be your children are living abroad. You might be wondering if it is possible for you to have a house of your own in foreign countries. Well anything is possible if the Lord intervenes in your life. When God decides to bless you with what you desire then no one can stand against you or stop you from getting your blessing. For God cares for you. He knows your desire.
If God promises to bless you, He will fulfil it. He will never fail you. When God built a house for David He entered into his house with a grateful heart and began to thank God, saying Lord let it please you to bless the house of your servant. David knew very well that unless God blesses him and his house, he cannot be blessed. He believed that every gift comes from above and comes down from the father of lights with whom there is no variation. You cannot inherit anything unless it is given from his hands. God opens his hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing.
David asks God to bless his house that it may continue forever before God. David wanted God to keep an eye upon his house all the time. He wanted his house to be always filled with Gods presence. He knew that life without God or a house without God’s presence cannot be blessed.
David loved God with all of his heart for God found David the son of Jesse, a man after God’s own heart. So David maintained a personal relationship with God in order to inherit God’s blessing. David had great faith in God. He knew that life without God is vain. He refused to accept anything that entered into his house without the blessing of God.
How about you dear brothers and sisters? Do you want God to bless your house with the goodness of God? Are you willing to receive God into your house and bless you? Is your house worthy of God’s presence? Say, search me, O God, and know my heart today, Try me, O Saviour, know my thoughts.

The Blessed word that the Lord has given you this day is taken from the book of Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
Though Jesus Christ was a great King, He had a humble birth on this Earth in a manger. The humility of His birth place, is attracting even kings and pilgrims to this day. While He was carrying the cross to Mt.Calvary, He interceded for the people who were being forsaken by this world.
Today, the Lord is giving you the opportunity for your sanctification. Though Bethlehem is a small town, it is been spoken of world wide.
God is going to do great and mighty things in your life this day. My dear children of God, those who say ‘I am not able to do anything’, the Lord who can make you worthy of it is born in your heart. If Jesus Christ is born in your heart, you will be able to do great and mighty things.

Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The blessed word that the Lord has given for you today is from the book of Proverbs 3:24, “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.”
Now-a-days, many people get afraid to sleep alone in a room at night. This happens when a man is possessed with the spirit of fear. How can you change this situation? The bible says, the Holy Spirit is the Lord who makes you bold. Today, when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, all the evil spirits within you will leave. Many children get afraid when they sleep; even a small child, while asleep, they see bad dreams and wake up in fear and start to scream. Because of that, they child might be crying all night. The devil does not even let go of the children too. Today the Lord is willing to put a special hedge around you to protect you, your home and your family. God expects His children to be as bold as a Lion.
The bible tells us that we should not possess the spirit of fear but the spirit of boldness. We see many elders and youngsters waking up in the middle of their sleep and crying in fear. It is the devil who brings fear upon a man. When a man gets afraid, it is clearly visible that he is moving away from his faith on God. To give you fear and to keep you away from the Lord and to kill you is the plan of the evil spirit.
Some children would have taken debts, and would be struggling to face the debtor. Some children might get just a heat boil but they fear thinking that it might be some sort of cancer boil. Some children panic on seeing the exam question paper. In this life You will have to face problems, sicknesses, challenges and people will rise against you. When will there be an end to all these problems? The Lord says that He is planning to bring an end to all such fears in your life. John 14:27 says, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Even now as you read this passage, the Lord is removing the spirit of fear and is giving you the spirit of boldness.
Was it fear that disturbed you? Has it been a long time since you slept peacefully? The children of God must not go to bed with any fear. You should not drench your pillows with tears. Today is the day of your deliverance. From this day forth, your sleep shall be sweet to you.

Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord, You know how much my children have suffered because of their sleepless nights. The spirit of fear has gripped their hearts and they get very afraid at night. Even the small kids at home get very disturbed because of bad dreams. I pray that You may cast the spirit of fear away and may their sleep be sweet. Be with them, protect them and bless them with sound sleep. In Jesus name we pray,
