Beloved Children of God in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Genesis 16:13, “You are the God who sees.”
Our God is the One who sees us. That day, when Hagar faced a problem as a pregnant woman, the only family she trusted — the family of Abraham and Sarah — caused her trouble. Not knowing where to go, she wandered in the wilderness, alone and in distress. No one came to comfort her or offer help. As a pregnant woman walking aimlessly, her tears flowed, but there was no one to see or console her.
At that moment, the Lord revealed Himself to her and said, “Hagar, what happened to you? Where are you going?” He comforted her and assured her of His guidance, saying, “Go back to your mistress. I will take care of you.” Moved by this divine encounter, Hagar declared, “You are the God who sees me.” Though no one else saw her pain, God saw her and gave her a solution, comforted her, and sent her back home. Even today, you may feel unseen and unnoticed. Perhaps no one sees your tears, your needs, your problems, or your sickness. But take heart — the Lord sees you! He does not just see and walk away. Just as He guided Hagar and gave her a solution, He will also show you the right path. No matter where you are crying from or what situation you are facing, the Lord will meet you, see you, and redeem you from that place.
Just as God restored Hagar and brought her back home, He will bring back what you have lost. If your child has gone missing, God will find and return them to you. If your husband has left you out of hatred or wandered into sinful paths, the Lord will find him and bring him back, delivering him into your hands. Those who have betrayed you will be brought to your feet, and you will see restoration. Do not worry — the Lord knows your needs and your struggles, and He will help you.
Testimony: Sister Priscilla from Chennai
My son, Melchizedek, was 30 years old and still unmarried. I attended the Anbarin Paathathil Fasting Meeting and asked Brother Stephen to pray for my son’s marriage during individual prayer. Brother prayed, and on that very evening, we received a call from the bride’s family. Both families spoke and finalized the engagement date. By God’s grace and Brother Stephen’s prayers, all the wedding arrangements took place smoothly and without any hindrance. Praise God for this blessing!
Dear children of God, just as the Lord worked in our family, He will work in yours too. He sees your struggles, your needs, and your situation. The Lord will bring good news to your home as well.
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. You are the God who sees us. What a comforting assurance to know that You see our struggles, our debts, our challenges, and even those who trouble us. We bring every problem into Your presence, trusting that You will deliver us. Just as You rescued Hagar from her distress, deliver my children from their burdens. Lord, let a new season of blessing begin in their lives. May every hindered good event come to pass. Open the wombs that have been closed. Let every need be met, and may Your mighty hand bring breakthroughs and miracles. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
