No More Fear and Oppression - Bro. T. Stephen

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who created and formed us and who never forgets us. May the name of the Lord be glorified. Let us read from the book of Isaiah 54:14, which says, “In righteousness you shall be established. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear.” The Lord speaks three promises to you today.

Firstly, the Lord says that you shall be established in righteousness. If you feel that until now you have not received justice, the Lord will bring justice for you today. Perhaps you have struggled with living righteously, desiring to avoid sin but finding yourself trapped in old ways. Tell the Lord, “Lord, I want to give up my past and be made new. Help me to live righteously.” If you ask the Holy Spirit for help, the Lord will bless you to lead a righteous life. Once you become righteous, the Bible assures us that “the righteous shall not be forsaken, nor his descendants begging for bread.” Today, the Lord is anointing you to be a righteous person.

Secondly, the Lord says you shall be far from oppression. Many of you have suffered from the oppression of family members—perhaps your mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, husband, or wife. You may have experienced unbearable torment in the past, but today the Lord declares that there will be no more oppression in your life. “Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor destruction within your borders; God Himself will be your everlasting light.” The Lord is working on the hearts of those who have tormented you, bringing about change. Pray to the Lord, “You have promised to keep me far from oppression; please protect me.” God will perform miracles for you.

Thirdly, the Lord assures you that you shall not fear hereafter. Many of you may wake up each morning, consumed by thoughts of potential failure, debt, or shameful situations. You worry about the past and what lies ahead. God says, “Commit your ways to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass.” He will complete His work in your life peacefully. Since God has made this promise, be bold—everything is under His control. Worrying or fearing is unnecessary. Remember, God is alive. Confess your mistakes to Him and ask for His help. He will surely assist you. Trust in the Lord, and He will do great things in your life.

Now, let us conclude with a powerful testimony from a wonderful family. Sahaya Mary from Thambaram shares: “From my childhood, I have suffered from the bondage of evil spirits. Despite my efforts, I couldn’t find freedom. Then I heard about God’s Love Ministries and went to the Prayer Tower. They prayed for me and shared a word of encouragement. After their prayer, I was delivered from all my struggles with evil spirits. I now live a peaceful life, free from fear, and sleep well at night.” This testimony shows that the same God who removed her fear and gave her peace can do the same for you.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we thank You. I pray and bless all the children in the name of Jesus. You looked upon the children and said, “In righteousness, you shall be blessed.” Help your children to remain established in righteousness and bear fruit. Let them be far from oppression, and may all who have oppressed them show them favor in the future. May they live without fear—fear caused by evil spirits, witchcraft, debt, disease, or death. Change their circumstances, Lord, grant them divine deliverance, and honor them. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
