Beloved children of God in Christ. I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Psalm 5:12, “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favour, You will surround him as with a shield.”
Today, we are living in a world where there is no protection at all. Every day, we face uncertain and unsafe conditions as we go to work, ministry, schools, and colleges. There are so many deadly diseases outside, and they do not spare even our children—many of whom are affected and vulnerable to death.
In this situation, God is offering a good counsel for you to escape such struggles and protect your families. That counsel is to be a righteous person and live in the fear of the Lord. Commit your entire family to the protection and presence of the Lord each morning, asking God to keep them away from destruction.
This is the message of today’s verse: “You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor, You will surround him as with a shield.” Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, the Lord will surround each of you with His favour, hiding and protecting you.
Today, let us make a good decision before the Lord, saying, “I will do what pleases You. I will live in obedience to my conscience, which will ultimately bring blessing, honor, and protection to my family.
Testimony from Sister Yuvarani from Chennai:
“In my workplace, many were giving me trouble. During the times I was under pressure, I would submit to the Lord and contact God’s Love Ministries by phone, asking for prayer. The prayer warriors from the prayer center would earnestly pray for me. I also participated in the Anabrin Paathathil Oru Naal fasting prayer meeting and prayed. The Lord heard my prayers and brought an end to all the problems. I am now working without any issues. As the blessing and favor of the Lord surround me as a shield, those who created problems for me have been put to shame. See, those who caused the problems are the ones who have been put to shame. The children of God are standing with their heads held high. Just as Sister Yuvarani has experienced, may the Lord grant you the grace today to stand with your head held high.”
Prayer:
Loving Lord, I thank You for Your blessings and protection. I pray that You make all who are reading this righteous, cleanse them with Your blood, and make them holy. Bless their families, safeguard them from pressures and jealous eyes, and protect them wherever they go. Heal those suffering from sickness, including terminal diseases, asthma, and wheezing. As they send their children to school, college, and work, may Your favor and protection surround them, and may they return in happiness.
