My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I greet and bless everyone in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. The blessed word that God has given for you today is from the book of 2 Corinthians. 13:11, “Finally Brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort. Be of one mind. Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, Live in peace. And the God of love and Peace will be with you.”
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, from the above context we find several good exhortations. God is the author of peace and Lover of harmony. He has loved us, and is willing to be at peace with us. And let it be our constant aim so as to walk worthy of God’s calling. God wishes that we may partake all the benefits which Christ of His free grace and favour has purchased.
The Above verse, generally represents sense of farewell as a parting salutation. “Be perfect”. It was a wish that every disorder might be removed. Apostle Paul expected everyone to be of one mind. He exhorts them to lay aside all strifes (wars) and be united and to be of the same spirit. He wanted everyone to live in peace with each other. And it is as true as it is beautiful that God is a God of love and peace. He is infinitely beneveloent. God delights in exhibiting his love, and He delights in the love which his people evince (indicate) for each other. At the same time He is the author of peace and He delights in peace among His people.
When Christians love each other, they will realize that God of love will be with them. Only when we are willing to lay aside all animosity (enmity) that we may expect the God of peace to fix his abode within us. When you come to the feet of God in truth and spirit, God himself will bless you with these blessings. For the Lord takes pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God is going to give you and your family the same blessing which he had given to the people of the church, of Corinth. And says, then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness. I will give them, comfort and joy instead of sorrow. God’s promises are true. He is not a man to lie. God will fulfil the desire of those who fear Him. In the day when you cry God answers you and makes you bold with strength in your soul.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, God will turn your sorrow into joy, God will remove the pain and sorrow of your children too and cause them to be glad. He knows the problems they are going through. And so He will strengthen and heal the broken situation of your children. God

Prayer:
Our loving heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessed day. Lord we thank you for encouraging us through Apostle Paul to live in peace and harmony. And to be of one mind. Lord teach us to lay aside all hatred and enmity and be united in the Lord. So that God of peace will fix His abode within us. Lord please turn our sorrow into joy and make us glad all the days of our life. In Jesus name we pray.
