Dearly Beloved, I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and wish you a Happy & Blessed Christmas. The blessed word that God has given for you today, is from the book of Luke 1:74-75, To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of Our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In Holiness and righteousness, Before Him all the days, of our life.
From the above context we understand that Zacharias the High Priest called Jesus as the Horn of Redemption, since God of Israel, born as Jesus in the city of David, has come to meet the people and redeem them from all the bondages they had been trapped into. God has raised up a Horn of Salvation for us, in the house of His servant David. The spirit of the Lord descended upon Zacharias and He prophesied over the birth of Christ saying that God has visited and redeemed his people from sin, bondage and has raised up a Horn of Salvation, for His people.
Jesus was born to meet the people and to save them from their enemies namely the satan, and from those who (rose/rise) up against them. He came to deliver mankind from the hand of their enemies. All that we understand is that God came to the Earth to save His people. The Heaven calls us, as His children and celebrates the birth of Christ. During this season Heaven calls you and me as Children of God. God the Father sent the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Begotten son, that whoever believes on His name shall never perish but have everlasting life. God loves the people of this world and did not wish that any should perish. So He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, down to the Earth in the form of a Child, to meet us and redeem us from our enemies. And deliver us from all our problems.
God came into this world to separate us from the spirit of darkness and bring us into His Marvellous Light and give us new life. He came to the Earth as Horn of Salvation. Are you trapped by satanic powers of darkness or witch craft, or sorcery and black magic ? Or the cunning nature of Satan? Are you caught up by the evil spirit, and the plans of wicked people? At this time of the Birth of Jesus, born from the lineage of David, God wants to liberate you from the hold of evil spirit, and His cunningness and all evil forces that has bound you over a long period of time. God is delivering you from your deception, depression, shame, humiliation, sin and all kinds of bondages. Thus you are going to start a liberated new life, during this Christmas Season.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters you have all neatly decorated your houses, with festoons, balloons, streamers, stars, serial lightings etc. But what about your hearts have you cleaned up your hearts. Have you purified and kept it Holy and Perfect? God wants to come and dwell inside of you therefore open your heart and allow Him to enthrone your hearts. Receive Him as the Lord and Saviour of your life. For God expects a change from within you, during this Christmas festive season. If you give your heart as a gift to Jesus, He will beautify the meek and exalt you to be seated in the Heavenly realm.
My Dear Brothers and Sisters, God expects a change in you. He wants to remove your stony heart and give you a fleshy heart in order that you may accommodate Christ the King, in your heart. Make it clean and pure and perfect in all aspects then you will be accepted by the Lord God of Israel, and He will dwell inside of your heart. Once He comes into your heart, you will find a great change in your life. All the old things will pass away and behold all things will become new. God will take complete charge of your life. He will destroy all your enemies, and deliver you from the hands of wicked and cruel people. He will surround you with His mercies and grace and perfect all that concerns you. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. God bless you.
Prayer: Our loving heavenly Father, we thank you for this blessed day. Thank You Lord for sending Jesus, Your only Begotten Son, to redeem us from the hold of Satan and deliver us from our enemies. Help us to serve the Lord without fear, in Holiness and Righteousness, all the days of our life.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
