Beloved Sisters and Brothers in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Psalm 16:8 – “I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”
Today, many people say, “I will be like your right hand, I’ll always be with you, no matter what trouble comes.” But when even a small problem arises, they disappear. They won’t answer your calls, they block your number, and vanish without a trace. When everything was going well, they might have said, “I will do this for you, I will stand by you.” But now, you don’t even know where they are. This is man.
But David says, “The Lord is at my right hand; I shall not be moved.” People will be with you when things go well—they will eat with you, celebrate with you, and take pride in being associated with you. But when struggles come, they run away. That’s when you realize who your real friends are. A true friend is one who stands by you in times of trouble. But our Lord is not like man. Whether you are in a time of joy or in a time of hardship, He is always with you. When the Lord is at your right hand, you will not be shaken.
Generally, most people use their right hand to do important things—writing, blessing, working. Some, however, are left-handed, and for them, the left hand is just as strong and dominant as the right. Like the way some left-handers bowl or bat in cricket powerfully—so, whether you are right-handed or left-handed, know this: The Lord is with you, and you will not be moved. Why does the Bible say “right hand”? Because it represents strength, blessing, and the hand we use for good work. So when God says, “I am at your right hand,” He is saying, “I am your strength, your help, and your support.”
Beloved, the Lord is your good portion—it will not be taken from you. Do you know when the Lord departs? When we do the things that displease Him. But when the Lord is with you, no one can move you. From any pit, from any challenge, you can rise victoriously and become an achiever.
So today, let your heart, your home, and your life be pleasing to the Lord—so that He will remain with you always.
Testimony – Brother Mark from Krishnagiri:
“My body was very weak, so I went to the hospital. The doctor examined me and said my sugar levels were 550 mg/dL and both my kidneys were affected. I was filled with worry and didn’t know what to do. Then I watched Brother Stephen’s Mangala Vaarthai program. As he prayed, I joined him in prayer. I wrote down the scripture verses that Brother shared and prayed with them. Later, I went back to the hospital for a checkup. The doctor examined me again and said, ‘Your sugar levels are now normal, and both your kidneys are functioning well.’ What a wonderful testimony! May the Lord do the same for all who are reading this.”
Prayer:
Loving Lord, we thank You. May You be at the right hand of my children forever. Because of Your presence, let them no longer be shaken but be established firmly and bear fruit. In the past, debts may have shaken them. Sickness may have shaken them. Shame may have shaken them. But from this day forward, let nothing move them. Lord, You be their right hand and support. Fulfill the desires of their heart. You know their needs, Lord. You know why they are stepping out today, whom they are going to meet, and what expectations they are carrying. Let everything they set out to do turn out favorably. Take them safely and bring them back safely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
