My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the name of the Lord be glorified.
Let us take a moment to read Psalm 121:4: “Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” The Bible tells us that He is a shade that guards us. According to this verse, He who guards us neither sleeps nor slumbers. This means He is the Lord who stays awake and watches over us. He allows you to sleep while He remains awake, guarding you like a watchman. What a good God He is! He guards you securely, just like a dedicated security guard. He watches over you both day and night, protecting you from the terror by night, the arrow that flies by day, the pestilence that walks in darkness, and the destruction that wastes at noonday. He who guards Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers; He will guard you without closing His eyes.
Today, He is canceling all the weapons formed against you. He is nullifying all the powers of witchcraft and sorcery that have been cast upon you. He is canceling all false petitions against you and nullifying any cases charged or filed against you. Because He is the one who guards you, He works for you day and night without sleeping. Whether in the deep sea or at midnight, He is a God who comes immediately when you call Him. Today, He will break whatever stands against you. Whoever has spoken a word of curse against you, or said that you shouldn’t rise up again, God says they will twist and fall, but you shall rise. Therefore, go forth boldly! No one can do anything against you. Oh, they might talk, but they will not harm you. Go boldly into ministry. Go boldly to college or school. I shall take care of you. You can study. I will remove all the evil spirits that prevent you from studying, and I shall make you an achiever, says the Lord. How many of you are saying Amen?
We shall now listen to a wonderful testimony from Sister Rachel in Chennai. She shares, “My husband met with an accident and had a blood clot in his brain. The doctor wanted to operate immediately. Even after the operation, he did not open his eyes. My sister’s daughter took a picture of my husband and went to the Anbarin Padhathil Ooru Naal meeting, where she met Brother Stephen for individual prayer. She showed the photo and asked Brother to pray for my husband. The Lord heard Brother Stephen’s prayer and granted my husband perfect healing. Every day, the Lord provides protection in all his journeys.” What a beautiful testimony! What is impossible for man and doctors is possible for God. So, with faith, we are going to pray.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, we thank You. According to this verse, You are the one who guards us. You are our protecting shade. You neither sleep nor slumber, nor do You grow weary. Lord, in the past, Your children have experienced many evil incidents and disasters that have robbed them of their peace and income. Their wealth has been plucked away, and the peace of their families has been disrupted. Today, the Lord who guards us neither sleeps nor slumbers, and we thank You for putting a hedge of protection around us and erecting a wall of fire to keep us safe, as You remain in the midst of it in a glorious manner. Keep us from all evil, destruction, and the schemes of wicked enemies, and grant us divine protection. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
