The Righteous won’t be forsaken - Bro. T. Stephen

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I greet and bless you all in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the name of the Lord be glorified. Let us read together from the book of Psalms 37:25: “I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,
If you give yourself to the ways of righteousness, what does righteousness mean? It means being a good man or a good woman who does good to others, does not harm others, and speaks no evil of others. Such people are considered righteous. God will not forsake such righteous people. Man may forsake them, doctors may forsake them, their boss may forsake them, children may forsake them, or even their husband may forsake them. Whoever may forsake them, but God will not forsake them.

Many of you might be thinking, “I have been in a forsaken state of life in many things. Everyone has forsaken me, and I am struggling all by myself.” Today, tell the Lord, “Lord, aren’t I your dear child? I submit myself to live a holy life. Lord, do not forsake me.” God will hold your hand and take you out of your debts. God will lift you out of your shameful life and rescue you from the miry clay.

Some of you might be thinking, “I have been faithful and honest before God, but I haven’t been blessed with the gift of a descendant.” According to this Word of God, the descendants of the righteous will never beg for bread. Believe with all your heart that God will open the closed womb and bless you with a child. Some of you are already thanking the Lord, placing your hand on your stomach and giving thanks to Him for the gift of a descendant. I see you thanking the Lord in my spirit, and I too thank the Lord on your behalf. Heaven has witnessed this.

I would like to share with you a testimony from Victor from Kandigai, in Korattur, Chennai. He says, “Praise the Lord. For many years, we were unable to have a child, and we were in tears. But one day, I met Brother Stephen, and I asked him to pray for us. We got an appointment, met him, and prayed with him. He blessed us, and according to Psalm 17:14, he sent us with this auspicious word. That same month, my wife conceived and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. God helped her to deliver the baby safely. May the Lord’s name be glorified.” If you, too, are worried about not having a descendant, and if you remain in tears before the Lord, I desire to bless you with the same verse. God will surely bless you with a descendant.

Prayer: Dear Lord, we thank You. Lord, I submit all the children into Your hands. Hold their hands and lead them. If any of them feel they have no one to support them, I pray that You will hold their hands and provide for them, Lord. May You stand by them and bless their marriages. I thank You for doing so. May the children submit themselves to the ways of righteousness, and may they receive all the blessings mentioned in the Bible. Let them inherit it. Not only that, but their descendants should not be roaming for food. Open their wombs, Lord, and let them give birth to good descendants. I promote them to the status of father and mother, and I pray for them. May their descendants never roam about in search of food, jobs, or income. May the Lord open the windows of heaven and bless them. In Jesus’ Name, we pray.
Amen.
